you the satisfaction that retirement never could. Sometimes our plans are
disrupted for good reason.
We've all heard stories ofpeople who have missed flights and been very
upset that their travel plans were messed up, only to find out that the plane
had crashed. We've heard stories of people who have narrowly missed
disaster in many different scenarios. Don't be one of those people who
narrowly misses success or a second chance because they refused to take the
time to consider alternatives.
Goal re-orientation is a good thing to do whether it's thrust upon us or
not. Both Robert and I are firm in our beliefthat you have to love what you
do in order to be very successful at it. He also advises to invest in what you
love - which is exactly what ended up happening to the couple at the inn.
They had the prescience to visit a place they loved for reinforcement, and
reinforced they were. That'swalking the talk.
Ifyou are a baby boomer without much money today, be thankful for
the lifeyou've had, and know that life is stillwaiting to show you some great
adventures. Don't underestimate yourself or your possibilities. Whether
you'resixor 60, there are still a lot ofgreat opportunities out there. The good
life isn't over until you give up on it.
I'd like to give you a statement from Steve Forbes that says it all. Steve
