n this final chapter, we’re going to talk about a phenomenon that has a big

I impact on wealth building. In fact, if you’re not paying attention, all your
hard work can disappear with the snap of a fi nger.
Or more likely, the flick of a judge’s order. I’m talking about a phenome-

non that I’ve heard referred to as the “lawsuit explosion.” Reports I’ve read
state that there over 75,000 new lawsuits filed every week in this country.

It’s hard to build wealth—but harder to hold onto your financial assets if

you don’t protect yourself from legal threats by installing an asset security
system to safeguard both your business and personal assets.
Stop and think for a moment. Are you protected? Have you been so busy
building wealth that you haven’t protected yourself from frivolous lawsuits? If
so, you better have your checkbook handy. Even if you win the lawsuit,
defending yourself and your business can cost from a low of $50,000 up into
the seven-fi gure range.
Why do so many individuals and businesses get sued? The answer is
simple: money.
