Marie Osmond knows a lot about second chances. In 2011 she remarried her first husband, Steve Craig, and this time around they are making it work. In an interview with Fox News, Osmond opened up about their relationship.
"I think I’m crazy and he tolerates me," she told the outlet. "But seriously, it’s the greatest thing in the world. I think you learn what’s important. You learn to let go. We wanted to move forward, communicate better and fix the areas [in our relationship] that needed fixing."
Osmond was barely 22-years-old when she married Craig in 1982. Shortly after exchanging vows, they welcomed a son but rather than grow closer together, things between them were strained. By 1985, they had split and a year later Osmond married Brian Blosil, who she later divorced in 2007.
In a 2019 interview with People, she admitted to jumping into a relationship with Blosil. "You have to be so careful not to jump into a relationship after you’ve been through a sad one," she said. "You really need time on your own. And you need to know that you’re a good person in order to find a good person."
Osmond found that "good person" when her paths crossed with Craig years later. She told Fox News it was a "miracle" that brought them back together. "I think it is the greatest thing in the world," she explained. "He’s my best friend. We love to just do nothing together. We have fun just being together. He loves me for me and I love him for him. And he makes me laugh. I think those 26 years apart, God brought a miracle into both of our lives. And it’s been incredible since then. I’m very, very blessed."
