White House trade adviser Peter Navarro issued a blistering 36-page report Thursday, in which he asserted that voter irregularities and election fraud have been found in "more than sufficient" quantities to swing the election to President Donald Trump.
The Navarro report was titled "The Immaculate Deception: Six Key Dimensions of Election Irregularities," and it "assesses the fairness and integrity of the 2020 Presidential Election by examining six dimensions of alleged election irregularities across six key battleground states."
"The observed patterns of election irregularities are so consistent across the six battleground states that they suggest a coordinated strategy to, if not steal the election outright, strategically game the election process in such a way as to 'stuff the ballot box' and unfairly tilt the playing field in favor of the Biden-Harris ticket," Navarro's report alleged.
The six voting irregularities reviewed in the report linked up with six battleground states: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The findings aim to bolster the contention by President Donald Trump and his legal team that the Nov. 3 election was marred by widespread fraud. Trump has refused to concede the race, even as the Electoral College affirmed a victory by Joe Biden that's due to be certified by Congress on Jan. 6.
The six irregularities alleged were:
"While Democrat Party government officials cheated and gamed the electoral process across all six battleground states, many Republican government officials – from governors and state legislators to judges – did little or nothing to stand in their way," Navarro's report continued.
The report also hit the media for what was characterized as an effort to downplay, mock, or ignore evidence of widespread voter and election fraud.
"In refusing to investigate a growing number of legitimate grievances, the anti-Trump media and censoring social media are complicit in shielding the American public from the truth," the report read. "This is a dangerous game that simultaneously undermines the credibility of the media and the stability of our political system and Republic."
Navarro's report rebuked the complicity of the media as a "Biden Whitewash."
Those journalists, pundits, and political leaders now participating in what has become a Biden Whitewash should acknowledge the six dimensions of election irregularities and conduct the appropriate investigations to determine the truth about the 2020 election," the report continued. "If this is not done before Inauguration Day, we risk putting into power an illegitimate and illegal president lacking the support of a large segment of the American people.
"The failure to aggressively and fully investigate the six dimensions of election irregularities assessed in this report is a signal failure not just of our anti-Trump mainstream media and censoring social media but also of both our legislative and judicial branches."
Overturning this presidential election is not the only goal of the report, which pointed to future elections and specifically the potentially compromised Jan. 5 Georgia Senate runoffs.
"If these election irregularities are not fully investigated prior to Inauguration Day and thereby effectively allowed to stand, this nation runs the very real risk of never being able to have a fair presidential election again – with the down-ballot Senate races scheduled for January 5 in Georgia an initial test case of this looming risk," it concluded.
Trump and his allies has filed dozens of legal cases with state and federal courts, but to date, none have gained significant traction. Claims have been rebuffed over a lack of evidence or a lack of standing by the ruling courts to adjudicate the claims.
Critics have rebuked Trump for advancing claims of fraud with insufficient proof and weakening the electoral process.
After the Electoral College backed up a Biden win this week, some top Republicans called for an end to the challenges and acceptance of the outcome. But Trump has defiantly continued to allege fraud and promise further challenges.
Biden is to take office on Jan. 20.
