PRESIDENT TRUMP’S PLAN WILL ENSURE A SAFE AND RELIABLE SUPPLY OF LIFE SAVING CANCER DRUGS AND OTHER CRITICAL MEDICINES MADE IN AMERICA 

- President Trump will restore his Executive Order 13944, dated August 6, 2020, on Ensuring Essential Medicines, Medical Countermeasures, and Critical Inputs Are Made in the United States. 

- This Essential Medicines EO sought to ensure sufficient and reliable, long-term domestic production of essential medications, minimizing potential shortages by reducing our dependence on foreign manufacturers. 

- The EO required federal agencies to “Buy American” by facilitating the domestic production of medicines and medical devices that the FDA determined “essential” to public health. It did so by requiring federal agencies to buy medicines and medical devices that are entirely “produced in the United States.” 

- The EO also required the U.S. Trade Representative to modify our international trade agreements so that drugs deemed “essential” to public health by the FDA can no longer be purchased by federal agencies from any of the 120 countries that has a trade agreement with the U.S. that authorizes the manufacture of such “essential” drugs for the U.S. market. 

- President Trump’s August 2020 Essential Medicines EO reflected critical lessons learned from the national response to the COVID19 pandemic, including the extreme national vulnerability caused by the lack of an adequate domestic manufacturing capability for critical pharmaceuticals.  This vulnerability was compounded by the severely UNDERFUNDED and DEPLETED Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) left by the Obama-Biden administration.  As a result, between March 2020 and January 2021, President Trump invoked the Defense Production Act over 100 times to rapidly replenish the SNS with medicines and medical equipment to fight the pandemic. As a part of this effort, large-scale and long-term government contracts were awarded to American manufacturers to produce life-saving essential medicines and medical equipment for public health emergencies. For example, Phlow Corporation in Richmond, Virginia, was awarded a $354 million contract—with an additional $458 million available for long-term stockpiling purposes—to manufacture over a dozen kinds of USA-made medicines and their precursor ingredients to treat patients hospitalized with the COVID19 virus. 

- Restoring President Trump’s August 2020 Essential Medicines EO will kickstart the domestic production of lifesaving drugs. 

- American doctors should never have to give a patient a drug from an unapproved facility in China or India. We can and must produce these essential medicines at home. 

- A recent survey conducted by Washington University in St. Louis found that 30 percent of U.S. pharmaceutical companies utilize 50 percent or less of their facility capacity, meaning U.S. companies could already produce millions more doses of medication every year.

 

JOE BIDEN GUTTED PRESIDENT TRUMP’S ESSENTIAL MEDICINES EXECUTIVE ORDER TO “BUY AMERICAN”, ALLOWING FEDERAL AGENCIES TO BUY ESSENTIAL MEDICINES FROM UNSAFE FOREIGN COUNTRIES 

- On April 20, 2021, Biden withdrew a proposal to put President Trump’s EO into effect by removing essential drugs and medical devices from coverage under the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement (WTO GPA). 

- By ripping up the proposal, the U.S. government can continue to buy foreign-made medicines and medical devices. 

- With federal agencies still permitted under current law to purchase medicines “essential” to public health from any of America’s 120 trading partners, there is no incentive for federal agencies to buy from domestic companies. As a result, the United States will continue to be dependent on foreign countries for its most critical medical needs.

 

JOE BIDEN’S DRUG SHORTAGE CONSTITUTES AN URGENT PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS 

- Under Biden, shortages of essential medications have grown astronomically. 

- Between 2021 and 2022, new drug shortages increased by 30 percent, with a record five-year high of 295 active drug shortages at the end of 2022. 

- The U.S. is at a near-10 year high in drug shortages. 

- There is currently a shortage of at least 14 cancer drugs in the U.S. 

- A June 2023 survey by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) found that 93 percent of U.S. cancer centers have shortages of carboplatin and 70 percent have shortages of cisplatin, essential medicines that treat a wide array of cancers. 

- A study published in 2020 in The British Medical Journal found that every month delayed in cancer treatment can raise the risk of death by around 10%.

 

JOE BIDEN’S DRUG SHORTAGE IS FUELED BY OVERRELIANCE ON FOREIGN-MADE MEDICINES AND, IN SOME CASE, POTENTIALLY UNSAFE MANUFACTURERS 

- Instead of building a domestic manufacturing capability, Biden’s FDA is building up foreign manufacturing of pharmaceuticals and putting American lives at risk. 

- India accounts for the majority of FDA-approved active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) facilities sending drugs into the United States as of 2021. 

- China accounts for 445 FDA-approved API manufacturers. 

- In 2021, China was the top exporter of pharmaceutical to the U.S. measured by weight, accounting for 190 million kilograms (418 million lbs.) or 23% of total pharma imports. 

- Chinese imports to the U.S. now account for 95 percent of ibuprofen, 91 percent of hydrocortisone, 70 percent of acetaminophen, and 40 to 45 percent of penicillin. 

- China and India account for 90 percent of all prescriptions written in the U.S. 

- Chinese and Indian drug companies present a substantial risk to the health of Americans.

- In June 2023, the Biden FDA considered temporarily importing cancer drugs, cisplatin and carboplatin, from unapproved foreign companies because of domestic shortages. 

- The shortages were exacerbated by Intas Pharmaceuticals, an Indian drug companies that shut down production after it shredded documents and dowsed trashcans in acid when the FDA began to investigate them. 

- The Biden FDA allowed Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, an Indian drug company, to export into the U.S. even though it was under an import ban because of significant violations of current good manufacturing practices at its facility in Baddi.

Under crooked Joe Biden there has been a catastrophic increase in shortages of essential medicines. Last year, new drug shortages were up by 30% with 295 active drug shortages, just by the end of 2022 alone. It's a mess. 

There's currently a shortage of at least 14 critical cancer drugs in the United States. They just can't get it. And every month of delay, cancer treatment increases the risk of death by at least 10%. It's unthinkable that this could be happening in the United States of America in 2023. It is truly unbelievable. We are becoming a third world country very rapidly between our open borders and our bad elections. We are third world. 

But even more dangerously, the top producer of critical medicines that we rely on in the United States is a place called China. China produces 95% of all ibuprofen, 91% of hydrocortisone, 70% of all Tylenol, and nearly half of all penicillin. Can you imagine that?

Crooked Joe Biden just agreed to pay a $6 billion ransom to the Iranian dictatorship in exchange for hostages. This is yet another Biden surrender and a further blistering humiliation of the United States of America to the world stage. But even worse, this decision will be extremely deadly. 

Biden is giving $6 billion to the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism. Just as when Obama sent the Iranian regime pallets of cash for hostages in the dark of night. Remember, plane loads of cash. Biden's ransom payment will be immediately used to stoke violence, bloodshed, and mayhem throughout the Middle East, and all around the world costing countless innocent lives. 

It's also guaranteed that the fanatical Iranian regime will use this money to advance their nuclear weapons program putting Israel, the United States, and the entire world in very grave peril. They are reportedly just weeks away from a nuclear bomb something which would have never happened under the Trump administration. Tragically, Biden's ransom payments also make it dramatically more likely that even more Americans will be held captive in the future.

Like Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, Deranged Jack Smith, and New York AG Letitia James, Fulton County, GA's radical Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis is a rabid partisan who is campaigning and fundraising on a platform of prosecuting President Trump through these bogus indictments. I would like to express my sympathy and warmest regards to the people of Hawaii, and specifically all of those who have been so gravely and irreparably hurt by the tragedy of the wildfires in Maui, something the likes of which have seldom been seen anywhere, at any time. 

The death caused by this catastrophic event will be far worse than ever expected now that houses and cars and other areas are being inspected. The sad thing is, it should never have happened. Our government was not prepared. And very importantly, the aftermath is going very poorly with the governor of the island wanting to do nothing but blame it on global warming, and other things that just happen to pop into his head. 

When asked about it today, as he was getting into a car, perhaps coming home from the beach, where he has been spending a great deal of time, Crooked Joe Biden, the most incompetent president in the history of our country, with a laugh and a smile said he had no comment on the death and the tragedy. 

To say no comment is oftentimes fine, but to be smiling when you say it, especially again such a tragedy as this, is absolutely horrible and unacceptable. It is a disgraceful thing that Joe Biden refuses to help or comment on the tragedy in Maui, just as he refused to help or comment on the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio for a very, very long time. 

In any event, hopefully, everyone will be able to pull together so that a horrible situation does not get even worse. To the families affected I give you my love and sympathy. Nothing can ever replace your loved ones but you will always have the memories and will feel their great love surrounding and embracing you.

In An Attempt To Coerce A Witness, DOJ Attorney Jay Bratt Threatened Woodward’s Judgeship Application. “When Woodward arrived at the conference room, he was seated across from several prosecutors working on the investigation, including the chief of the counterintelligence section, Jay Bratt, who explained that they wanted Nauta to cooperate with the government against Trump, the letter said…Bratt then turned to Woodward and remarked that he did not think that Woodward was a ‘Trump guy’ and that ‘he would do the right thing’, before noting that he knew Woodward had submitted an application to be a judge at the superior court in Washington DC that was currently pending, the letter said.” (The Guardian, 6/8/23)

The money was allegedly used to help cover up the affair Edwards was having in 2008 as his wife, Elizabeth, was dying of cancer. The jury deadlocked in May 2012 after a five-week trial and more than a week of deliberations. Some officials inside the Justice Department reportedly had initial misgivings about the case before getting on board with the prosecution. After the mistrial loss, Smith said at the time that “our job is to look at the facts and then look at the law and apply the facts to the law.” The Justice Department soon announced it wouldn’t attempt to retry Edwards. Jurors said on TV after the trial that a majority didn’t think the DOJ had proved its case beyond a reasonable doubt and that the evidence simply wasn’t there, while a minority wanted to convict Edwards. According to Webster’s Dictionary, the definition of reboot is “to shut down and restart (a computer or program).”  It’s fitting that in the last week the word reboot followed by Ron DeSantis (or is it DEE-SAN TAS?) have appeared no fewer than a dozen times together, all across the country.  It seems that this particular robot, however, isn’t turning back on. 

Never mind the polling, which continues to show double digit leads for President Trump, and a continued slide in DeSantis’ numbers that puts him in jeopardy of losing second place in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. How do you gain momentum when you start the new week with this?

To make matters worse, the entire message of the DeSantis campaign, that he is “more electable” and only “he can defeat Joe Biden”, is crushed in the New York Times poll analysis: 

“The ability to defeat Mr. Biden and to enact a conservative agenda is at the core of Mr. DeSantis’s appeal to Republicans….” 

“Yet these arguments do not appear to be working. A strong majority of Republicans surveyed, 58 percent, said it was Mr. Trump, not Mr. DeSantis, who was best described by the phrase “able to beat Joe Biden.” And again, it was Mr. Trump, by a lopsided 67 percent to 22 percent margin, who was seen more as the one to “get things done.” 

The New York Times notes: “in the half century of modern presidential primaries, no candidate who led his or her nearest rival by at least 20 points at this stage has ever lost a party nomination. Today, Donald J. Trump’s lead over Ron DeSantis is nearly twice as large: 37 points…” 

The ‘08 McCain and ‘24 DeSantis “political reboots” share one, and only one, similarity:  Overspending and not enough fundraising.  Every other metric one could look at just doesn’t compare. 

For instance, President Trump is crushing the polls.

CNN admitted that President Trump is in an incredibly strong position to defeat Joe Biden and return to the White House: 

“Trump is not only in a historically strong position for a nonincumbent to win the Republican nomination, but he is in a better position to win the general election than at any point during the 2020 cycle and almost at any point during the 2016 cycle. 

No one in Trump’s current polling position in the modern era has lost an open presidential primary that didn’t feature an incumbent. He’s pulling in more than 50% of support in the national primary polls, i.e., more than all his competitors combined.”

According to a Monmouth University Poll, nearly half (47%) of Republican voters say President Trump would be a stronger candidate than DeSantis in a general election against Joe Biden. A dismal 22% think DeSantis is more electable. This dismantles the DeSantis campaign’s core pitch to voters that the Governor is more electable. 

The survey finds that President Trump dominates DeSantis by 32 points (54%-22%) and “Republicans have an overwhelmingly positive view of Trump (77% favorable and 18% unfavorable),” which is a higher net favorability score than DeSantis. 

There is also no “value proposition” to a DeSantis candidacy.  New Coke fell flat after much fanfare, and studies showed that the more people consumed it, the more they disliked it.  Does that sound familiar? 

DeSantis’s campaign is marred by idiocy. 

John McCain did not spend the opening week of his reboot explaining why his staff produced a  video with Nazi imagery, and defending his comments that slavery provided “some benefit” to enslaved Americans — while attacking black Republicans publicly in the process. 

So the next time someone makes the “2008 Comeback” analogy in the same sentence with Ron DeSantis, be sure to hit them with these facts.
