SOARING TRADE DEFICITS: Under Biden, our trade deficits have risen to the highest levels in our country’s history, devastating American workers and businesses. 

Biden has stood by and watched as America’s trade deficits have soared.

Under the Biden administration, this nation’s trade deficits have risen to record high levels, killing jobs, killing factories, and killing America’s economic future.

Last year, America’s trade deficit rose to the highest level on record, at nearly $1 trillion. The deficit with China rose to $383 billion.

The agriculture trade deficit rose to $2 billion last calendar year, and USDA recently projected that in fiscal year 2023 the agriculture trade deficit will rise to a record $14.5 billion.

A NATION IN DECLINE: Trade deficits are destroying American jobs and communities and threaten our national security. 

Trade deficits have led to massive job losses in America’s manufacturing sector. Increased imports decrease demand for domestic production, leading to a loss of manufacturing jobs.

The growing trade deficit with China between 2001 and 2015 alone led to an estimated loss of 3.4 million jobs.

After the twin disasters of NAFTA and China’s entry into the World Trade Organization, the U.S. lost 60,000 factories.

The current trade deficit is bolstering China, which uses the money it bilks from America to buy up American real estate and wealth-creating industries.

China owns over 194,000 acres of U.S. farmland, and at least 2,400 U.S. companies are majority-owned by Chinese investors and firms.

China is also using the money it is siphoning off from America to rapidly build up their military, putting U.S. national security at risk.

China has developed hypersonic missiles, and their military has more naval ships and serving military members than the U.S. China also dominates the global market for the mining and processing of components critical for missiles, firearms, and radars. 

RETURNING TO AN AMERICA FIRST TRADE POLICY: President Trump’s America-First Trade Platform will bolster American manufacturing and help American jobs and businesses come roaring back to life, just like they did during his administration. 

During the Trump administration before the pandemic, America’s overall trade deficit decreased.

America’s trade deficit with China also decreased by $73 billion in 2019.

President Trump followed through on his promise to bring back American manufacturing, with more than 500,000 new manufacturing jobs created before the pandemic.

Manufacturing job growth soared to a more than two decade high in 2018.

In 2019, wages grew at the fastest rate in a decade, and 17,000 new factories opened up for business in the U.S.

President Trump’s new Strategic National Manufacturing Initiative will once again cut the trade deficit and bring millions of jobs back to America.

President Trump will impose universal baseline tariffs on most foreign products and raise them if a foreign country engages in unfair trade practices.

UNIVERSAL BASELINE TARIFFS: President Trump has announced a plan to replace the Biden system of punishing domestic producers and rewarding outsourcers with a new system that rewards domestic production while taxing foreign companies.

 

Rather than raising taxes on American producers, President Trump will impose tariffs on FOREIGN producers through a system of universal baseline tariffs on most imported goods. 

Higher tariffs will increase incrementally if other countries manipulate their currency or otherwise engage in unfair trading practices. 

As tariffs on foreign countries go up, taxes on American workers, families, and businesses can come down.
The Biden administration has proposed nearly $2 trillion in tax increases on American citizens and levied draconian tax hikes on Americans’ household energy, 401ks, and pension plans. 

The Biden administration’s globalist policies sell out American citizens and result in a windfall for foreign countries. 

In 2022, the United States trade deficit reached $948.1 billion, the largest on record, and the agricultural trade deficit exceeded $2 billion. 

President Trump’s trade policy is firmly rooted in American history. America used to impose tariffs on over 95% of all imports, and for decades the federal government took in over 80% of its revenue by taxing foreign producers through tariffs—not by taxing American workers and businesses.

 

ENDING RELIANCE ON CHINA: President Trump’s America First trade policy will completely eliminate U.S. dependence on China--the primary beneficiary of Democrats’ globalist agenda. 

In addition to universal baseline tariffs on most foreign goods, President Trump's plan will reclaim our economic independence from China. And they support massive anti-American multinational agreements that send our wealth and factories overseas. 

Very simply, the Biden agenda taxes AMERICA to build up CHINA. 

China is the big beneficiary. We cannot let that happen. And just a couple of years ago, it wasn’t happening. China paid to the United States hundreds of billions of dollars and no other president got ten cents. Legitimately, ten cents from China. 

My agenda will tax CHINA to build up AMERICA. 

The heart of my vision is a sweeping pro-American overhaul of our tax and trade policy to move from the Biden system that punishes domestic producers and rewards outsourcers, to a system that REWARDS domestic production and taxes FOREIGN companies and those who export American Jobs. They will be rewarded and rewarded greatly. And our country will benefit. 

To achieve this goal, we will phase in a system of universal, baseline tariffs on most foreign products. On top of this, higher tariffs will increase incrementally depending on how much individual foreign countries devalue their currency. They devalue their currency to take advantage of the United States, and they subsidize their industries, or otherwise engage in trade cheating and abuse. And they do it now like never before, and we had it largely stopped and it was going to be stopped completely within less than a year. 

As tariffs on foreign producers go up, taxes on American producers will go down and go down very substantially. And that means a lot of jobs coming in. 

Not only will this system end our gaping trade deficits—and they are massive right now—and bring back millions of American jobs—it will also bring trillions and trillions of dollars pouring into the U.S. Treasury from foreign countries and allow us to invest that money in American workers, American families, and American communities. 

This plan will be the linchpin of a new Strategic National Manufacturing Initiative, that builds on my historic success in ending NAFTA, which was a tremendous thing, a tremendous achievement, nobody thought it could be done, and we did USMCA—US-Mexico-Canada, and it was an incredible thing. But we’re also going to end other unfair trade deals, and we’ll end them quickly. 

In addition, as a matter of both economic and national security, I will implement a bold series of reforms to completely eliminate dependence on China in all critical areas.

Trump visited East Palestine, Ohio to hear from the people of the community and deliver supplies to help those who are still affected by the train derailment. The East Palestine community warmly welcomed President Trump as hundreds of people lined the streets to show their support.

President Trump met with local officials and residents from East Palestine.

While on the ground in East Palestine, President Trump met with members of the police and fire departments, first responders, local and statewide officials, and residents to pledge his support for the community and to always fight on their behalf. 

“We have told you loud and clear, you are not forgotten. You are not forgotten. We stand with you, we pray for you,” President Trump said in a speech at the East Palestine Fire Department.

The East Palestine McDonald’s franchise owner Steve Telischak praised President Trump for his “uplifting” visit. 

The visit from President Trump served as a beacon of hope for the East Palestine community as they continue to navigate the aftermath of this disaster. 

The Biden administration—which has largely ignored the victims of East Palestine—reversed a decision to withhold a FEMA emergency declaration once President Trump announced his visit to the Ohio town. 

Sean Hannity of FOX News highlighted the residents of East Palestine, with one remarking, “honestly, I'm not surprised. [Biden and his administration] haven't been to the border yet, so why would they come to East Palestine?" 

When President Trump announced his trip to Ohio, Joe Biden was touring eastern Europe promising an additional $500 million in aid to Ukraine. The mayor of East Palestine called Biden’s move “the biggest slap in the face.” 

“I sincerely hope that when your representatives and all of the politicians get here, including Biden, they get back from touring Ukraine, that he’s got some money left over,” President Trump said in remarks at the East Palestine Fire Department.

East Palestine Mayor Trent Conaway said on Monday that Biden’s trip to Ukraine was the “biggest slap in the face,” and showed he “doesn’t care about us” and that he was “furious” Biden was supporting Ukraine and not his town.

“It’s ridiculous that Joe Biden hasn’t been to East Palestine. It’s all politics all the time for Biden and he doesn’t give a damn!” U.S. Senator Ted Cruz wrote on Twitter

“It is unacceptable that it took nearly two weeks for a senior administration official to show up,” U.S. Senator Joe Manchin said in a statement Thursday. “I urge President Biden, Administrator Regan, and Transportation Secretary Buttigieg to provide a complete picture of the damage and a comprehensive plan to ensure the community is supported in the weeks, months and years to come, and this sort of accident never happens again.”

"We need Congressional inquiry and direct action from Secretary Buttigieg to address this tragedy," Minnesota Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar wrote on Twitter.

"Amidst an impending possible rail strike last year, Secretary Buttigieg left the country to vacation in Portuguese wine country," Senator Marco Rubio wrote. "Near misses in commercial aviation, as well as recent system failures, including the one that shutdown air travel in Florida in January, indicate that serious and persistent problems across the DOT are not being sufficiently remedied. I do not have confidence that Secretary Buttigieg is capable of keeping the American people safe."

One of the reasons I was the only president in generations who didn’t start a war is that I was the only president who rejected the catastrophic advice of many of Washington’s Generals, bureaucrats, and the so-called diplomats who only know how to get us into conflict, but they don’t know how to get us out.

But it does mean that here in America, we need to get rid of the corrupt globalist establishment that has botched every major foreign policy decision for decades, and that includes President Biden, whose own people said he’s never made a good decision when it comes to looking at other countries and looking at wars. We have to replace them with people who support American interests.

The State Department, Pentagon, and National Security Establishment will be a very different place by the end of my administration. 2. President Trump will require local law enforcement agencies receiving DOJ grants to return to proven policing measures such as stop-and-frisk, strictly enforcing existing gun laws, cracking down on the open use of illegal drugs, and cooperating with ICE to arrest and deport criminal aliens. 

3. President Trump will take on the radical Marxist prosecutors who have abolished cash bail and refuse to charge criminals. President Trump will direct the DOJ to open civil rights investigations into radical leftist prosecutor’s officers, such as those in Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco to determine whether they have illegally engaged in race-based law enforcement. 

4. President Trump will instruct the Department of Justice to dismantle every gang, street crew, and drug network in America. President Trump has also called for the death penalty for drug dealers and human traffickers. 

5. President Trump has committed to deploying federal assets, including the National Guard, to restore law and order when local law enforcement refuses to act. 

6. President Trump will order the Education and Justice Departments to overhaul federal standards on disciplining minors. 

7. Finally, President Trump will sign concealed carry reciprocity legislation, fully secure the border, dramatically increase interior enforcement, and wage war on the cartels.

Joe Biden and the ‘Defund the Police’ Democrats have turned our once great cities into cesspools of bloodshed and crime. There's never been anything like it. Here's my plan to restore law and order in our cities and throughout our country, frankly. 

First, because police forces have been gutted by Democrats’ war on police, I will sign a record investment in hiring, retention and training for police officers nationwide. So important. 

This bill will also increase vital liability protections for officers because the Democrats want to take those protections away from our police, because we want them to do their jobs, and we want them to do their jobs right. You can't take their protections away if you're going to have them do their jobs properly. 

Second, to qualify for this new funding and all other Justice Department grants, I will insist that local jurisdictions return to proven common sense policing measures, such as stop and frisk— very simple—you stop them and you frisk them, strictly enforcing existing gun laws against convicted felons, cracking down on the open use of illegal drugs, and cooperating with ICE to get criminal aliens off our streets and get them out of our country. 

Third, we will go after the radical Marxist prosecutors who are abolishing cash bail, refusing to charge crimes, and surrendering our cities to violent criminals. They have surrendered like never before. I will direct the DOJ to open civil rights investigations into radical left prosecutor’s offices, such as those in Chicago, L.A., and San Francisco to determine whether they have illegally engaged in race-based enforcement of the law. 

I will also work with Congress to give the victims of their Marxist policies the right to sue local officials for harm and suffering, and it has been great that they have caused. If your small business is pillaged because shoplifting goes unpunished, if you're brutally attacked by a violent felon released without bail or bond, then you will be entitled to massive damages. 

Fourth, I will order the Department of Justice or as some people call it the ‘Department of injustice’ right now and Homeland Security to dismantle every gang, street crew, and drug network in America. Every single one of them will be dismantled. 

We already know where these turf wars and drug dens are. We know who the people are. And we're going to charge them and charge the culprits with every crime that we can find. We're going to be fair, but we're going to be tough. We also need the death penalty for drug dealers, so important. And I'd also add to that human traffickers. Drug dealers and human traffickers. They get the death penalty, watch it stop and stop quickly. 

Fifth, in cities where there has been a complete breakdown of law and order, where the fundamental rights of our citizens are being intolerably violated, I will not hesitate to send in federal assets including the National Guard until safety is restored. 

If Nancy Pelosi would have accepted our National Guard or our soldiers, you wouldn't have had January 6, but she and the mayor of D.C. didn't do that. 

Sixth, we will end the leftist takeover of school discipline and juvenile justice. Many of these carjackers and criminals are 13, 14, and 15 years old. I will order the Education and Justice Departments to overhaul federal standards on disciplining minors. So, when troubled youth are out of control, they're out on the streets and they're going wild, we will stop it. The consequences are swift, certain and strong and they will know that. 

Seventh, they will protect the right of self-defense everywhere it is under siege. And I will sign concealed carry reciprocity. Your Second Amendment does not end at the state line. In addition, I will of course fully secure the border, dramatically increase interior enforcement, and wage war on the cartels. 

We have never had a border so secure as it was just two years ago. And now our border is the worst anywhere in the world, and possibly of all time. There’s never been a country that allowed to happen what's happening in the United States right now, where millions of people are pouring across our borders. They come from mental institutions. They come from the prisons. They’re all being led out so they can come into the United States. They’re poisoning our country. 

We will also take back our streets from the homeless, the drug addicted, and the mentally ill. I will discuss those plans in much more detail very soon. Mar-a-Lago, FL— New Consumer Price Index data proves Joe Biden’s reckless spending and radical, leftist policies are devastating American families and destroying America’s economy. 

Inflation continues to spiral out of control, hitting 6.4% in January—with natural gas prices alone skyrocketing over 26.7% in the past year. 

According to the Wall Street Journal, in the last year, grocery prices have increased more than 11.3%, electricity costs are up 11.9%, and transportation service costs are 14.6% higher under Joe Biden. 

In 2020, President Donald J. Trump handed Joe Biden a booming economy with an inflation rate of only 1.2%. By 2022, Joe Biden wiped out the middle-class gains President Trump achieved, causing 9.1% inflation, a 40-year record high. 

According to NBC News: “Monday, the New York Federal Reserve reported that the median expected growth in household income dropped from 4.6% to 3.3%. That is the largest one-month drop in the nearly 10-year history of the survey.” 

In other words, U.S. households are not only expecting a slowdown in income, they also expect that slowdown to be quite large. 

Gallup reported that, “a majority of Americans, 56%, now say price increases are causing financial hardship for their household, up from 49% in January and 45% in November.” 

A report from the Heritage Foundation analyzed consumer prices and inflation and found that average Americans lost $7,400 in annual income since Biden took office. 

Amid the Bidenflation crisis, real wages have remained negative for 22 months straight. Biden’s senseless spending spree has caused prices to soar and take-home pay to fall for millions of Americans. 

“On a month-by-month basis, however, prices increased by 0.5% in January compared with a slower gain of 0.1% in December. The acceleration was driven by shelter costs,” as reported by USA Today. 

In Biden’s America, a majority of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck and more than 40% of Americans have been forced to stop saving for retirement. 

On top of all the economic misery Biden has created, his war on energy has fueled inflation as the “energy index rose 2% compared with the prior month. Gasoline prices rose 2.4%. Compared with a year ago, energy prices are up 8.7% and gasoline prices are up 1.5%,” per Breitbart News. 

Biden has overseen the worst economic decline since the Great Depression. When President Trump returns to office, he will deliver economic opportunity and prosperity for Americans of all backgrounds, lower inflation, and cut wasteful government spending.

"This is a big day for seniors," President Trump said in a Rose Garden speech where he took the opportunity to take several direct swings at Biden over health care issues.

"We brought all of the parties to the table — insurers, manufacturers, and other key players — and reached an agreement to deliver insulin at stable and drastically lower out-of-pocket cost for our seniors. I hope the seniors are going to remember it, because Biden is the one that put us into the jam, because they didn't know what they were doing," Trump said.

He cancelled the Keystone XL Pipeline, he reentered the horrendous Paris Climate Accord, so unfair to the United States, good for other countries, so bad for us. He put up huge roadblocks to new oil, gas and coal production and much, much more. 

In effect, Biden's anti-American energy crusade is a massive tax hike on everything. Higher energy costs, raise the price of food, raw material, shipping, transportation, construction, manufacturing, and everything else. 

The country that now benefits most from Joe Biden's radical left Green New Deal is China. High energy prices in America are a gift to China, a major factor in driving our heavy industry overseas. If you want to be an advanced manufacturing nation, you must be able to produce low-cost energy. You'll never be a rich nation without it. 

 And if you want to deindustrialize the United States, then you would seek to drive up the cost of energy here as much as possible, just as Joe Biden has done, perhaps unknowingly. That I don't know. That's why Biden's energy agenda is China's energy agenda. 

That's why China signs up for every stupid globalist climate deal, and then immediately breaks it. They don't live up to their deals. When I'm back in the White House, I will bring back a pro-American energy policy at long last.

In an unprecedented violation of US sovereignty and national security, Joe Biden allowed a Chinese spy balloon to surveil sensitive American military installations. In an effort to distract and deflect from their own weakness and failures, the Biden regime has resorted to peddling disinformation.

 

The Biden Administration allowed the spy balloon to travel across the country, viewing sensitive military installations as it drifted along. If not for local reporting in Billings, Montana, we might have never known.[1]

Despite early knowledge of this serious breach of American sovereignty, Secretary of State Antony Blinken did not cancel his trip to meet with Chinese officials.  When coverage of the balloon’s trip began and American outrage intensified, only then did the Secretary of State reschedule his conversation with the Communist Chinese.[2]

Biden allowed the spy balloon to complete its mission of gathering intel in the United States before shooting it down.[3] A certain sign of weakness around the world.

Joe Biden’s soft-on-China policies emboldened the Chinese Communist Party to violate American sovereignty for one simple reason: Joe Biden is controlled by Xi Jinping. House Republicans have produced evidence proving the Biden family received millions of dollars from a Chinese corporation to ship American natural gas to China—under the direction of Joe Biden himself. [4]

 

 

The Biden Administration got caught putting China first and is desperately trying to claim that the same series of events happened under President Trump—a massive lie.

President Trump took the most serious actions of any Administration to curtail Chinese espionage in the United States. When he returns to the White House, he promises to:

Impose whatever visa sanctions and travel restrictions are necessary to shut off Chinese access to American secrets in compliance with our demands and laws.

End all Chinese imports of essential goods and replace them with products Made in America.

We must send a strong signal that America will not allow China to trample our sovereignty and illegally surveil our country.

President Donald J. Trump rebuilt America’s military, increased readiness, and destroyed our nation’s enemies. Joe Biden has weakened America’s national security, emboldened our adversaries, and betrayed our allies.

 

Biden presided over a tragic and embarrassing military withdrawal in Afghanistan, which took the lives of 13 U.S. servicemembers. Joe Biden left 10,000 to 15,000 Americans behind in Afghanistan.[1] This was among the most embarrassing acts the United States has presided over. 

Biden’s reckless withdrawal has resulted in the Taliban effectively controlling all of Afghanistan, dramatically more territory than they did on Sept. 11, 2001.[2] 

The Biden administration left over $7 billion in military equipment behind, including 78 aircraft worth $923.3 million, 9,524 air-to-ground munitions, over 40,000 military vehicles, 300,000 weapons, and 17,500 “pieces of explosive detection, electronic countermeasure, disposal and personal protective equipment.[3] 

Just months after Biden’s calamitous Afghanistan disaster and clearly emboldened by our country’s display of weakness and incompetence, Russia invaded Ukraine. In 2022 alone, U.S. military aid to Ukraine reached over $50 million.[4] As a result of never-ending military aid to Ukraine, the U.S. stock of Javelin anti-tank missiles and Stinger anti-aircraft missiles have been depleted by a third.[5] By issuing over $100 billion in aid without asking President Zelensky for a realistic timeline, Biden is prolonging and escalating this conflict as it reaches its first anniversary with tens of thousands of people killed.[6][7][8] 

The Biden Department of Defense has been more focused on liberal indoctrination than military preparedness and warfighting. Amid revelations that the Biden Department of Defense’s woke, diversity chief made public comments condemning “white folks,” DOD leadership did nothing to address the racist statements.[9] 

According to a December 2022 poll of U.S. servicemembers, 68% reported witnessing politicization in the military.[10] Meanwhile, 80% reported a decrease in trust in the U.S. military because of the push to allow unrestricted service by transgender individuals.[11] 

Joe Biden has overseen a severe recruitment crisis in the U.S. military, forcing the U.S. Navy to lower recruiting standards.[12] Joe Biden fired more than 5,000 servicemembers for noncompliance with his COVID-19 vaccine mandate.[13] Many of our country’s best and brightest were driven out of service due to Biden’s Woke policies. 

Joe Biden’s soft on China policies, have invited increased aggression towards Taiwan and the United States. 

Last week, Joe Biden allowed a Chinese spy balloon to violate American airspace for at least seven days, allowing the surveillance craft to observe critical national security infrastructure, including U.S. intercontinental ballistic missile fields.[14] 

The Biden administration has also prioritized radical climate change policy over the human rights abuses of China’s genocidal regime.[15] 

Biden has cowered to NATO, as the U.S. continues to unilaterally fund the organization. The Biden administration has ignored the fact that many NATO countries including Germany, Italy, and Spain will not fulfill their financial obligations—and show no plan to do so in the future—instead simply passing their tab on to the American taxpayers.[16] 

Biden has emboldened America’s adversaries around the globe. Opposing sanctions against the Nord Stream 2 pipeline and observing Biden’s disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, Biden has strengthened Russia’s hand in Europe.[17] 

Biden has lifted restrictions on Cuba’s communist regime[18] and has begun easing sanctions on Venezuela’s socialist government to ease gas prices that spiked because of Biden’s radical energy policies.[19]

 

President Trump rebuilt the United States military after eight years of decline and neglect under the Obama Administration.

President Trump revitalized our defense industrial base, secured the largest pay raise for our troops in a decade, and created the sixth branch of our Armed Forces: the United States Space Force.[20]

President Trump also became the first American leader since Ronald Reagan not to start a war.[21] 

President Trump completely rebuilt the United States military with over $2.2 trillion in defense spending, including $738 billion for 2020.[22] 

The Trump administration secured three pay raises for our service members and their families, including the single largest raise in a decade.[23] 

President Trump upgraded our cyber defenses by elevating the Cyber Command into a major warfighting command and reducing burdensome procedural restrictions on cyber operations.[24] 

In four years, President Trump defeated 100% of ISIS’ territorial caliphate in Iraq and Syria.[25] As a result, nearly 8 million civilians were freed from ISIS’ bloodthirsty control, and liberated Mosul, Raqqa, and the final ISIS foothold of Baghuz.[26] 

On orders from President Trump, the U.S. military killed the leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi,[27] and eliminated the world’s top terrorist, Qasem Soleimani.[28] 

President Trump twice took decisive military action against the Assad regime in Syria for the barbaric use of chemical weapons against innocent civilians, including a successful 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles strike.[29] 

President Trump negotiated an extended ceasefire with Turkey in northeast Syria.[30] 

The Trump administration created the Terrorist Financing Targeting Center (TFTC) in partnership between the United States and its Gulf partners to combat extremist ideology and threats, and target terrorist financial networks, including over 60 terrorist individuals and entities spanning the globe.[31] 

The Trump administration completed several multi-year nuclear material removal campaigns, securing over 1,000 kilograms of highly enriched uranium and significantly reducing global nuclear threats.[32] 

President Trump also established a whole-of-government strategy addressing the threat posed by China’s malignant efforts targeting the United States taxpayer-funded research and development ecosystem.[33] 

As a result of his bold diplomacy and principled realism, President Trump brought Peace to the Middle East by brokering four Middle East peace deals, collectively called the Abraham Accords, and our NATO allies agreed to pay $400 billion more in defense spending.[34] 

President Trump signed sanctions on Nord Stream 2, as part of a major effort to reduce European dependance on Russian natural gas.[35]

Additionally, President Trump also implemented the toughest sanctions against Moscow since the end of the Cold War.[36]

The Trump administration made NATO defense spending among allies a top foreign policy priority. As a result, NATO was in a far stronger position at the end of the Trump Presidency than it was under Barack Obama.[37]

 

President Trump’s Plan to Renew American Strength and Leadership 

President Trump has pledged to get Biden’s radical left ideology out of our military and rehire every patriot who was unjustly fired.[38] 

To protect our people from the threat of nuclear weapons and hypersonic missiles, President Trump will also build a state-of-the-art next-generation missile defense shield.[39] 

Putin invaded Georgia when Bush was President. Putin invaded Crimea when Obama was President. Putin invaded Ukraine when Biden was President. When President Trump was in the White House, Putin knew better than to start a war on his watch.

President Donald J. Trump secured America’s southern border and will wage war on the deadly cartels once he returns to the Oval Office. Meanwhile, Joe Biden has handed over complete control of the U.S. southern border to the dangerous cartels and put American communities in danger.

The U.S. Border Patrol has reported three times as many illegal border crossings under Joe Biden than while Donald Trump was President. The Biden administration continues to break records for historic illegal border crossings, tallying an estimated 5.5 million illegal border crossings since taking office.[1] 

On average, more than 200,000 illegal immigrants—equivalent to the population of Salt Lake City—are crossing our border every single months since Biden was sworn in as president.[2] 

In his first year in office, Biden passed nearly 90 executive orders undoing successful Trump border and immigration policies.[3] Since, Joe Biden has encouraged unending migration. On January 5, Biden announced unilateral executive mass amnesty and work permits for 30,000 new illegals every month before they even reach our borders[4]—allowing migrants to apply for entry from a mobile app. 

As a result, foreign nationals from around the world and deadly drugs continue to flow across the southern border. In Joe Biden’s America, 300 people are poisoned with fentanyl each day.[5] Tragically, 110,236 Americans died from drug overdose in 2022, the highest number ever recorded.[6] In 2022, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention revealed that the average life expectancy in the U.S. had dropped to its lowest point in nearly 20 years.[7] 

On Joe Biden’s watch, record amounts of deadly fentanyl have entered the country through ports of entry and illegal border crossings. In 2022, Border Patrol agents seized over 2,200 pounds of fentanyl in the possession of illegal border crossers.[8] 

The Biden administration immediately revived the “catch-and-release” policy, sparking a surge in illegal border crossings since Biden has taken office.[9] 

Last year alone, agents seized 50.6 million fentanyl-laced, fake prescription pills and more than 10,000 pounds of fentanyl powder—enough fentanyl to kill 379 million people—more than the entire population of the United States.[10] 

Additionally, at least 98 known or suspected terrorists attempted to cross the southern border in 2022—a figure that doesn’t include any “gotaways.”[11] Last year, federal agents uncovered a plot by a known ISIS-affiliated immigrant to smuggle four Iraqi nationals across the open border. 

While the Northern Triangle nations—comprised of El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras—have continued to violate America’s sovereignty, Biden’s border czar Kamala Harris has provided record foreign aid, at least $4.2 billion to Northern Triangle countries.[12] 

Since Joe Biden took office, convicted-criminal-alien encounters—including rapes, murders, and assaults—have increased by 466% in the United States.[13] 

To conceal the true cost of the border crisis, the Biden administration has recruited NGOs to settle illegal aliens in states across the country, in exchange for federal grants worth over $137 million.[14] Now, Biden’s DHS Secretary is seeking an additional $1 billion to fund their illegal alien resettlement effort.[15]

 

President Trump secured our southern border and honored the U.S. Border Patrol.

President Trump built over 400 miles of the world’s most robust and advanced border wall, resulting in an 87% reduction in illegal border crossings where the wall stands.[16] 

The Trump administration made keeping America’s borders secure and Americans safe a top priority and the Department of Justice prosecuted a record number of immigration-related cases.[17] 

President Trump ended the dangerous policy of “catch-and-release,” which allowed illegal aliens to be released into the United States, often never to be seen again. 

To combat asylum claim abuse and backlog for authentic asylum claims, the Trump administration trained frontline Border Patrol agents to assist USCIS perform credible fear screenings for illegal border crossers.[18] 

Under President Trump, the United States entered a historic partnership with the Mexican government to deploy tens of thousands of Mexican soldiers to secure their side of the border. Additionally, President Trump ordered nearly 5,000 troops to the southern border.[19]

President Trump has pledged to shut down Biden’s border disaster. He will again end catch-and-release, restore Remain in Mexico, and eliminate asylum fraud.

 

 

President Trump’s Plan to Secure the Border and Reclaim National Sovereignty

 

President Trump’s plan to secure the border includes a commitment to declare war and defeat the cartels, just as President Trump did with ISIS. 

In addition to restoring strong border security, President Trump will deploy all necessary military assets, including the U.S. Navy to impose a full naval embargo on the cartels. 

President Trump has also committed to direct the Department of Defense to make appropriate use of special forces, cyber warfare, and other overt and covert actions to inflict maximum damage on cartel leadership, infrastructure, and operations. 

President Trump has pledged to designate the dangerous cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, to curb their access to global financial systems.

In Joe Biden’s first year in office, twelve major cities broke all-time high murder records.[1] 

Since Joe Biden has taken office, American cities have become violent crime havens. More than 779 people have been murdered in the city of Los Angeles, a 44% increase from the first two years of President Trump’s term.[2] Robberies, assaults, auto thefts in Los Angeles have increased every year since Joe Biden took office.[3] 

In 2021, Philadelphia recorded 562 murders—the largest number of homicides in a single year in its history, followed by its second-highest number of homicides (516) in 2022.[4] Crime data shows New York City saw a 22% hike in crime in 2022 from 2021, with the most gun-related arrests in 27 years.[5] 

In Chicago, crime has increased 61% in the first three weeks of 2023 alone, as compared to the previous year.[6] Murders in Compton, California nearly doubled in Joe Biden’s first year in office—an increase of 89% from 2020.[7] 

As the Biden administration does little to curb crime across the country, one of America’s biggest retailers, Target reported that looting has resulted in losses in excess of $400 million in 2022 alone.[8] CVS, one of the nation’s largest drugstore chains reported a 300% increase in theft in 2022.[9] 

Rite Aid, a national drugstore chain, suffered over $5 million in losses as a result of theft in New York City, in their most recent quarter alone.[10] Many well established retail outlets are closing and consolidating because the theft and threats to their customers make continuing to operate impossible. 

As Democrat-run cities become bastions of violence and rioting, Joe Biden ended the practice of supplying local and state law enforcement with surplus military equipment and repeatedly proposed having unarmed civilian mental health officials respond to police calls.[11] 

Joe Biden has supported and promoted radical left-wing prosecutors and district attorneys, including hiring Soros-funded DA Rachael Rollins as Massachusetts’s top federal prosecutor.[12] 

Joe Biden’s condemnation of America’s law enforcement has resulted in a devastating 45% increase in police retirements, with another 18% resigning altogether since he took office.[13] 

It requires little imagination to explain the mass exodus of America’s police officers. While the nation faces a police recruitment shortage, Joe Biden’s past comments include suggesting that police officers should be trained to shoot suspects in the leg, when they feel lethal force is necessary—drawing harsh criticism from the law enforcement community.[14]

 

 

President Trump respected America’s law enforcement, reduced violent crime, and showed compassion through meaningful criminal justice reform.

 

During President Trump’s term, violent crime dropped over 5 percent and the murder rate decreased by over 7 percent.[15] To combat a surge of violent crime in cities, President Trump launched Operation Legend, resulting in more than 5,500 arrests.[16]

President Trump deployed the National Guard and federal law enforcement to Kenosha, Wisconsin to stop violence and deployed federal agents to save a federal courthouse in Portland from rioters.[17] Additionally, President Trump signed an executive order outlining ten-year prison sentences for destroying federal property and monuments.[18]

The Trump administration’s Department of Justice provided nearly $400 million for new law enforcement hiring. President Trump backed America’s law enforcement officers and earned the endorsement of the 355,000 members of the Fraternal Order of Police. [19]

President Trump signed an executive order to help prevent violence against law enforcement officers, prosecutors, judges, and their families.[20]

To protect communities, the Trump administration made hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of surplus military equipment available to local law enforcement.[21] President Trump signed the Fix NICS Act, to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous criminals, the STOP School Violence Act, and created a Commission on School Safety to examine ways to make our schools safer.[22]

President Trump established a task force to help combat the tragedy of missing or murdered Native American women and girls.[23]

Also, President Trump created the first-ever White House position focused solely on combating human trafficking.[24]

President Trump was the best friend first responders have ever had.

 

 

President Trump’s Plan to Stop Crime and Restore Safety

 

President Trump has called on Congress to immediately vote to exercise its legal authority over Washington, D.C. to restore law and order to our nation’s capital.[25] 

If Marxist prosecutors betray their oaths and refuse to protect law-abiding citizens, President Trump has committed to send federal law enforcement into America’s cities to restore peace and public safety.[26] 

President Trump will ask Congress to ensure that drug smugglers and traffickers can receive the death penalty.

When President Trump is back in the White House, the drug kingpins and vicious traffickers will never sleep soundly again. 

President Trump will deliver record funding to hire and retrain police officers, strengthen qualified immunity and other protections for police officers, increase penalties for assaults on law enforcement, put violent offenders and career criminals behind bars, and surge federal prosecutors and the National Guard into high-crime communities.[27]

Joe Biden’s Education Department is more focused on social justice indoctrination than teaching students. President Donald J. Trump protected the rights of parents and ensured children have every opportunity to receive the best education possible.

The Biden administration abandoned their responsibility to parents and students by allowing teachers unions to install policies that delayed school reopening post-COVID. [1] 

As a result of Biden’s prolonged school closures, fourth grade mathematics scores dropped significantly in 43 states, including a decline in 23 of 26 urban districts.[1] Even worse, eighth grade mathematics scores sank in every single state last year.[2] Biden’s school shutdowns more negatively affected female students, who underperformed male students in both fourth and eighth grades.[4] 

According to the National Assessment of Educational Progress, only 35% of fourth graders and 26% of eighth graders are proficient in mathematics, as of 2022.[5] 

Under Joe Biden, scores in reading have fallen by the largest margin in more than 30 years.[6] Enrollment at four-year universities dropped 6% in 2022, while community college enrollment plummeted by 16%. 

The Biden administration’s policy extending school closures worsened the mental health crisis among young people. Tragically, CDC data shows emergency room visits for suspected suicide attempts spiked among girls ages 12 to 17 in 2021, an increase of 51% from 2019.[7] In 2021, nearly 1 in 5 high school students had seriously considered suicide.[8] 

As of December 2022, nearly a third of America’s parents feel that public schools have gone too far in promoting a woke liberal agenda.[9] 

Even though 70% of parents oppose schools teaching elementary children about sexual orientation and gender identity,[10] Joe Biden ordered the U.S. Department of Education to adopt policies to “promote LGBTQ students and educators and support the safety, well-being, and rights of LGBTQI+ students.”[11]

While test score plummet, Joe Biden’s Department of Education has focused on “equity” over education.[12] Ignoring the learning crisis he has created, Joe Biden’s education plan emphasizes “defeating the National Rifle Association.”[13]

 

President Trump empowered students and parents, and held schools and universities accountable.

President Trump made permanent a commitment of $255 million in annual funding for Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and he increased funding for the Federal Pell Grant program by signing the FUTURE Act.[14] 

In 2020, President Trump created the 1776 Commission, ensuring that every American child learns that they live in the greatest, most exceptional Nation in the history of the world.[15] 

President Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act expanding school choice, allowing parents to use up to $10,000 from a 529 education savings account to cover K-12 tuition costs at the public, private, or religious school of their choice.[16] 

The Trump administration prohibited the teaching of Critical Race Theory across agencies of the federal government.[17] 

President Trump also called on Congress to pass the Education Freedom Scholarships and Opportunity Act to expand education options for 1 million students of all economic backgrounds.[18] 

President Trump issued updated guidance making clear that the First Amendment right to Free Exercise of Religion does not end at the door to a public school.[19] 

President Trump signed into law the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act, which provides over 13 million students with high-quality vocational education and extends more than $1.3 billion each year to states for critical workforce development programs.[20] 

Additionally, President Trump signed the INSPIRE Act which encouraged NASA to have more women and girls participate in STEM and seek careers in aerospace and allocated no less than $200 million each year in grants to prioritize women and minorities in STEM and computer science education.[21] 

The Trump administration also restored state and local control of education by faithfully implementing the Every Student Succeeds Act.[22] 

President Trump signed an executive order that ensures public universities protect First Amendment rights or lose funding,[23] addresses student debt by requiring colleges to share a portion of the financial risk,[24] and increases transparency by requiring universities to disclose information about the value of potential educational programs.[25] 

The Trump White House issued a rule strengthening Title IX protections for survivors of sexual misconduct in schools, and that—for the first time in history—codifies that sexual harassment is prohibited under Title IX.[26] 

President Trump signed legislation that included more than $100 million for scholarships, research, and centers of excellence at HBCU land-grant institutions.[27] 

In 2018, President Trump fully forgave $322 million in disaster loans to four HBCUs, so they could fully focus on educating their students.[28]

 

President Trump’s Plan to Save American Education and Give Power Back to Parents

President Trump will cut federal funding for any school or program pushing Critical Race Theory or gender ideology on our children. His administration will open Civil Rights investigations into any school district that has engaged in race-based discrimination.[29] 

President Trump will veto the sinister effort to weaponize civics education, keep men out of women’s sports, and create a credentialing body to certify teachers who embrace patriotic values.[30] 

President Trump will reward states and school districts that abolish teacher tenure for grades K-12 and adopt Merit Pay, cut the number of school administrators, adopt a Parental Bill of Rights, and implement the direct election of school principals by the parents.[31] 

On day one, President Trump will reverse Joe Biden’s cruel policies on “gender-affirming care” and will sign an executive order instructing every federal agency to cease all programs that promote the concept of sex and gender transition, at any age.[32] 

The Trump administration will ask Congress to permanently stop federal taxpayer dollars from being spent to promote or pay for these procedures.

President Trump will declare any hospital or healthcare provider that participates in the chemical or physical mutilation of minor youth will no longer meet federal health and safety standards for Medicaid and Medicare.[33]

Under Biden, Americans suffered the highest average price of gasoline ever recorded in American history.[4] 

Under Biden, the average cost for residential heating oil hit $4.56 per gallon, an increase of 95%.[5] 

Natural gas prices have risen 28%, and electricity prices have climbed 10% from last winter.[6] 

On Biden’s first day in office, he killed the Keystone XL pipeline, crippling the American energy sector and costing tens of thousands of jobs. 

Not long afterward, Biden was forced to beg OPEC to increase oil production to combat the historic costs.

 

 

The Trump Administration led the United States to become the number one producer of oil in the world while maintaining America’s position as the number one natural gas producer.

 

2019 marked the first time in 67 years that American annual gross energy exports exceeded gross energy imports.[7] 

The United States supplied 16% of the world’s oil and 21% of the world’s natural gas—more than any other country.[8] Under President Trump’s watch, Americans enjoyed gas prices as low as $1.77 per gallon.[9] 

The Trump administration cut regulations that lowered energy costs and unlocked new investments for American energy producers and consumers.[10] As a result, the average American family saved $2,500 a year in lower electric bills.[11] 

President Trump approved the Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines, opening federal lands and offshore areas responsible for oil and gas production, and ended the unfair and costly Paris Climate Accord.[12] 

In 2019, America achieved the largest decline in carbon emissions of any country on Earth. Since withdrawing from the Paris Climate Accord, the United States has reduced carbon emissions more than any nation.[13] 

President Trump’s America First energy policies not only saved Americans money, but it also strengthened our national security and made the world a safer place. As American energy broke new barriers, OPEC and Russia cut their own energy production by nearly 10 million barrels per day, stabilizing global oil markets.[14] 

President Trump’s energy successes enabled countries around the world to buy from the United States instead of hostile nations that manipulate energy prices as a means of political obedience.[15]

 

President Trump’s Plan to Unleash American Energy Dominance

 

President Trump will unleash the production of domestic energy resources, reduce the soaring price of gasoline, diesel, and natural gas, promote energy security for our friends around the world, eliminate the socialist Green New Deal and ensure the United States is never again at the mercy of a foreign supplier of energy. 

President Trump has promised to protect the American energy sector from China and will ban Chinese companies from owning any vital infrastructure, including energy transmission, technology, communications, farmland, medical supplies, minerals, and other strategic national assets. 

President Trump has also proposed forcing the Chinese to sell any current holdings that jeopardize America’s national security.

President Trump imposed requirements for unprecedented price transparency from hospitals and insurance companies, so patients know what the cost is before they receive care.[8] 

President Trump passed Right to Try to give terminally ill patients access to lifesaving cures.[9] 

President Trump will restore medical freedom, increase fairness through additional price transparency, and will always protect Medicare, Social Security, and patients with pre-existing conditions.

The average American family has lost $7,100 in purchasing power under Biden due to inflation and high interest rates.[6] 

The national debt increased by approximately $4 trillion since Biden arrived in office. And the administration is eager to pile up more debt, with a student-loan forgiveness program that will cost half a trillion dollars.[7]

 

Under President Trump, America was roaring with the No. 1 fastest economic recovery ever recorded. 

On President Trump’s last day in office, GDP was growing at 6.3 percent, inflation was 1.4 percent, the price of gasoline was $2.39 a gallon.[8] 

President Trump created 7 million new jobs—triple the projections. These new high-paying jobs led to the lowest unemployment rate in nearly 50 years.[9] Income rose in every single metropolitan area for the first time in three decades. 

Unemployment rates for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, veterans, individuals with disabilities, women, and those without a high school diploma all reached record lows.[10] 

President Trump reformed the tax code to better serve middle-class families. The Trump administration doubled the standard deduction, making the first $24,000 a married couple earns completely tax-free.[11] 

President Trump’s economic policies lifted nearly 7 million people off of food stamps.[12] 

The Trump administration achieved a record high stock market and record 401ks. Under President Trump, the DOW closed above 20,000 for the first time in 2017 and topped 30,000 in 2020. The S&P 500 and NASDAQ repeatedly notched record highs.[13] 

President Trump’s tariffs on imported aluminum and steel secured massive wage hikes for over 16,000 American steelworkers.[14] 

President Trump successfully negotiated a deal requiring China to purchase an additional $200 billion worth of United States exports.[15] 

Under President Trump, blue-collar jobs grew at the fastest rate in more than 30 years, helping fuel a hiring boom in many small towns and rural areas.[16] 

Rural employment grew at an annualized rate of 5.1 percent in the first quarter of 2018, adding over 656,000 blue-collar jobs in 2018.[17]

When President Trump is back in the White House, he will kick Chinese intelligence operations out of the country and force China to give up any U.S. holdings that put national security at risk.
