Today, Ron DeSanctimonious recited his DeSanctinomics plan before tens of people.

If it sounded awfully familiar, it’s because virtually everything he said was plagiarized from President Trump’s playbook for an America First economic agenda that built the World’s strongest economy twice.

Even Ron’s so-called “Declaration of Economic Independence” was lifted word-for-word from one of President Trump’s speeches from June 2016.

While DeSantis continues to cosplay as President Trump, his economic record is crystal clear: Ron called for a new 23% national sales tax hike, opposed President Trump’s tough-on-China tariffs, and has led Florida to massive price hikes.

 

DeSantis Wants to Raise Taxes on Americans, While President Trump Cut Taxes

“DeSantis co-sponsored the Fair Tax in each of his three terms in the House… He sounded pretty enthusiastic about the plan too.” – Politico, 2/6/23

In Congress, DeSantis cosponsored the so-called “Fair Tax Act” three times—in 2013, in 2015, and in 2017— which called for a new 23% national sales tax.

The Tax Policy Center found that Ron DeSantis’ “Fair Tax Act,” would have raised taxes on working, middle-class families.

Under DeSantis’ plan, 90% of earners would see a tax hike and would have added trillions to deficits over 10 years.

Ron DeSantis Supported Obama’s Globalist Trans Pacific Partnership, But Opposed President Trump’s America First Tariffs on China

In 2015, DeSantis voted to fast-track Obama’s globalist trade deal known as the “Trans Pacific Partnership.” 

DeSantis also voted against the TAA (trade adjustment assistance) that would have provided American workers displaced by foreign trade agreements with job training and services. 

When President Trump stood up to China in order to protect American farmers from Chinese retaliation, Ron DeSantis opposed. 

“I’m not somebody that advocates tariffs. I want to have lower barriers and I want to have free trade,” DeSantis said in a 2018 Fox Business interview. 

In a separate interview, DeSantis said, “I think that’s part of it, and I think China – and [President Trump] has been tough on China, and I think it’s been well documented, some of their practices. And I think those need to be addressed - whether tariffs are the best way or not, I mean we can debate that.” 

DeSantis recently flip-flopped on the issue, now saying that he supports President Trump’s tough-on-China tariffs, which ensured fair and reciprocal trade for American workers.

 

Ron DeSantis’ Mismanagement Caused Record High Insurance Rates for Everyday Floridians

Since Ron DeSantis took office, Florida car insurance premiums have increased nearly 25% —making Florida the most expensive state in the nation to insure a car. 

At the same time, Florida now faces a home insurance crisis—with several major insurers fleeing the state. Florida home insurance premiums have surged 206% since DeSantis took office in 2018. 

However, the record-setting high insurance costs haven’t stopped Ron from raking in over $3.9 million from the insurance industry.

 

Under President Trump, America was roaring with the No. 1 fastest economic recovery ever recorded. 

On President Trump’s last day in office, GDP was growing at 6.3 percent, inflation was 1.4 percent, the price of gasoline was $2.39 a gallon. 

President Trump created 7 million new jobs—triple the projections. These new high-paying jobs led to the lowest unemployment rate in nearly 50 years. Income rose in every single metropolitan area for the first time in three decades. 

Unemployment rates for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, veterans, individuals with disabilities, women, and those without a high school diploma all reached record lows. 

President Trump reformed the tax code to better serve middle-class families. The Trump administration doubled the standard deduction, making the first $24,000 a married couple earns completely tax-free. 

President Trump’s economic policies lifted nearly 7 million people off of food stamps. 

The Trump administration achieved a record high stock market and record 401ks. Under President Trump, the DOW closed above 20,000 for the first time in 2017 and topped 30,000 in 2020. The S&P 500 and NASDAQ repeatedly notched record highs. 

President Trump’s tariffs on imported aluminum and steel secured massive wage hikes for over 16,000 American steelworkers. 

President Trump successfully negotiated a deal requiring China to purchase an additional $200 billion worth of United States exports. 

Under President Trump, blue-collar jobs grew at the fastest rate in more than 30 years, helping fuel a hiring boom in many small towns and rural areas. 

Rural employment grew at an annualized rate of 5.1 percent in the first quarter of 2018, adding over 656,000 blue-collar jobs in 2018. 

President Trump’s vision for America’s economic revival is lower taxes, bigger paychecks, and more jobs for American workers.

The Biden economy, one third of the Gen Z and millennials have absolutely no savings, nothing whatsoever. Home ownership has been pushed out of reach for millions, with the rate for a 30-year mortgage up 157 percent and going much higher. Real wages collapsed 26 months in a row, and that's a record. Typical Americans have seen their incomes crushed by $7,400 a year since Biden took office, the biggest pay cut in many decades. Credit card debt has just reached an all-time high—with American consumers owing nearly a TRILLION dollars on their credit card bills, up 17 percent from just a year ago, one of the largest increases in history.

House Democrats have drafted an article of impeachment that accuses President Trump of “incitement to insurrection.” Acting U.S. Attorney Michael Sherwin said Thursday that his office is “looking at all actors here and anyone that had a role” in the Capitol riot. Some reporters have construed that as including Mr. Trump.

The president didn’t commit incitement or any other crime. I should know. As a Washington prosecutor I earned the nickname “protester prosecutor” from the antiwar group CodePink. In one trial, I convicted 31 protesters who disrupted congressional traffic by obstructing the Capitol Crypt. In another, I convicted a CodePink activist who smeared her hands with fake blood, charged at then-Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in a House hearing room, and incited the audience to seize the secretary of state physically. In other cases, I dropped charges when the facts fell short of the legal standard for incitement. One such defendant was the antiwar activist Cindy Sheehan.

Hostile journalists and lawmakers have suggested Mr. Trump incited the riot when he told a rally that Republicans need to “fight much harder.” Mr. Trump suggested the crowd walk to the Capitol: “We’re going to cheer on brave senators and congressmen and -women, and we’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them. Because you’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength and you have to be strong.”

In the District of Columbia, it’s a crime to “intentionally or recklessly act in such a manner to cause another person to be in reasonable fear” and to “incite or provoke violence where there is a likelihood that such violence will ensue.” This language is based on Brandenburg v. Ohio (1969), in which the Supreme Court set the standard for speech that could be prosecuted without violating the First Amendment. The justices held that a Ku Klux Klan leader’s calls for violence against blacks and Jews were protected speech. The court found that Clarence Brandenburg’s comments were “mere advocacy” of violence, not “directed to inciting or producing imminent lawless action... likely to incite or produce such action.”

The president didn’t mention violence on Wednesday, much less provoke or incite it. He said, “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”

District law defines a riot as “a public disturbance . . . which by tumultuous and violent conduct or the threat thereof creates grave danger of damage or injury to property or persons.” When Mr. Trump spoke, there was no “public disturbance,” only a rally. The “disturbance” came later at the Capitol by a small minority who entered the perimeter and broke the law. They should be prosecuted.

The president’s critics want him charged for inflaming the emotions of angry Americans. That alone does not satisfy the elements of any criminal offense, and therefore his speech is protected by the Constitution that members of Congress are sworn to support and defend.

Mr. Shapiro served as an assistant attorney general of the District of Columbia, 2007-09. He is a White House appointed official at the U.S. Agency for Global Media.

Comparing DeSantis to “Jeb Bush,” Roberts detailed the follies that have left DeSantis fighting to hold on to third place in several early states. 

“It was ‘just wait until Ron DeSantis gets in the race and Trump's gonna be in trouble,’” Roberts said. “It's not the case.” 

“If you're a candidate, you've got to be looking at this saying, ‘God, no matter what happens to Donald Trump, he just keeps getting stronger. Maybe, we should save our powder and you know, come back at this in 2028.’"

Ron DeSantis let go more than three dozen staffers. It's a third of his campaign staff- some 38 jobs, including two senior officials. You know, when you take a look at governors and their history here, you know, their sense of inevitability. It's built around them. Jeb Bush, we remember him. We talked about Tim Pawlenty, Scott Walker. Could Ron DeSantis be the latest in that group?

He's desperately trying not to be. But, this is a big sign. A third of your campaign staff. We haven't even gotten to August as of yet. There were real concerns by big donors, we were told of the spending. The burn rate. And they were spending a lot of money but not getting a lot of bang for their buck. He is trailing in every poll by 20, 30, sometimes 40 points, depending on the poll, depending on the state. And you just haven't seen the traction for the guy that was supposed to be "the guy."

Yeah, it was just wait until Ron DeSantis gets in the race and Trump's gonna be in trouble. It's not the case.

There's a change in policy, clearly. There's a change in media strategy. We at Special Report had been trying to get an interview with Ron DeSantis for months. And had asked repeatedly. We just got confirmation that we will interview the governor in New Hampshire, Monday.

As long as he makes that far! But let's just put it up because this is a really interesting timeline about the constant reboots here of the DeSantis campaign, or at least the repeated reboots. April, DeSantis SuperPAC debuts its very first television ad. May 24 is the announcement. By July 6, circulation of a confidential campaign memo. July 15, Campaign fires a dozen staffers. July 24, The New York Times reports of campaigns moving into leaner, meaner operation, cutting costs. We now find out that the cutting 38 staffers. DeSantis says he's going to hold smaller-scale events in earlier states and then engage more with the mainstream media, which would dovetail right into the idea that you've got this interview with him coming up Monday in New Hampshire. But that's an awful lot of trouble for a campaign that's barely two months old.

Which he will qualify for.

He will, and he has talked about being there on the stage. I do think this is setting up to figure out who will be the person who goes up against the former President. Right now, if you look at every poll, if you look at the positioning, if you look at what has happened after every indictment, after every major legal maneuver, the former President's numbers have only gone up. So, there would have to be a major change for that to shift. And I think that there is a fight to be the one person who will be the alternative.

- President Trump will restore his Executive Order 13944, dated August 6, 2020, on Ensuring Essential Medicines, Medical Countermeasures, and Critical Inputs Are Made in the United States. 

- This Essential Medicines EO sought to ensure sufficient and reliable, long-term domestic production of essential medications, minimizing potential shortages by reducing our dependence on foreign manufacturers. 

- The EO required federal agencies to “Buy American” by facilitating the domestic production of medicines and medical devices that the FDA determined “essential” to public health. It did so by requiring federal agencies to buy medicines and medical devices that are entirely “produced in the United States.” 

- The EO also required the U.S. Trade Representative to modify our international trade agreements so that drugs deemed “essential” to public health by the FDA can no longer be purchased by federal agencies from any of the 120 countries that has a trade agreement with the U.S. that authorizes the manufacture of such “essential” drugs for the U.S. market. 

- President Trump’s August 2020 Essential Medicines EO reflected critical lessons learned from the national response to the COVID19 pandemic, including the extreme national vulnerability caused by the lack of an adequate domestic manufacturing capability for critical pharmaceuticals.  This vulnerability was compounded by the severely UNDERFUNDED and DEPLETED Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) left by the Obama-Biden administration.  As a result, between March 2020 and January 2021, President Trump invoked the Defense Production Act over 100 times to rapidly replenish the SNS with medicines and medical equipment to fight the pandemic. As a part of this effort, large-scale and long-term government contracts were awarded to American manufacturers to produce life-saving essential medicines and medical equipment for public health emergencies. For example, Phlow Corporation in Richmond, Virginia, was awarded a $354 million contract—with an additional $458 million available for long-term stockpiling purposes—to manufacture over a dozen kinds of USA-made medicines and their precursor ingredients to treat patients hospitalized with the COVID19 virus. 

- Restoring President Trump’s August 2020 Essential Medicines EO will kickstart the domestic production of lifesaving drugs. 

- American doctors should never have to give a patient a drug from an unapproved facility in China or India. We can and must produce these essential medicines at home. 

- A recent survey conducted by Washington University in St. Louis found that 30 percent of U.S. pharmaceutical companies utilize 50 percent or less of their facility capacity, meaning U.S. companies could already produce millions more doses of medication every year.

 

JOE BIDEN GUTTED PRESIDENT TRUMP’S ESSENTIAL MEDICINES EXECUTIVE ORDER TO “BUY AMERICAN”, ALLOWING FEDERAL AGENCIES TO BUY ESSENTIAL MEDICINES FROM UNSAFE FOREIGN COUNTRIES 

- On April 20, 2021, Biden withdrew a proposal to put President Trump’s EO into effect by removing essential drugs and medical devices from coverage under the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement (WTO GPA). 

- By ripping up the proposal, the U.S. government can continue to buy foreign-made medicines and medical devices. 

- With federal agencies still permitted under current law to purchase medicines “essential” to public health from any of America’s 120 trading partners, there is no incentive for federal agencies to buy from domestic companies. As a result, the United States will continue to be dependent on foreign countries for its most critical medical needs. 

JOE BIDEN’S DRUG SHORTAGE CONSTITUTES AN URGENT PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS 

- Under Biden, shortages of essential medications have grown astronomically. 

- Between 2021 and 2022, new drug shortages increased by 30 percent, with a record five-year high of 295 active drug shortages at the end of 2022. 

- The U.S. is at a near-10 year high in drug shortages. 

- There is currently a shortage of at least 14 cancer drugs in the U.S. 

- A June 2023 survey by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) found that 93 percent of U.S. cancer centers have shortages of carboplatin and 70 percent have shortages of cisplatin, essential medicines that treat a wide array of cancers. 

- A study published in 2020 in The British Medical Journal found that every month delayed in cancer treatment can raise the risk of death by around 10%. 

JOE BIDEN’S DRUG SHORTAGE IS FUELED BY OVERRELIANCE ON FOREIGN-MADE MEDICINES AND, IN SOME CASE, POTENTIALLY UNSAFE MANUFACTURERS 

- Instead of building a domestic manufacturing capability, Biden’s FDA is building up foreign manufacturing of pharmaceuticals and putting American lives at risk. 

- India accounts for the majority of FDA-approved active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) facilities sending drugs into the United States as of 2021. 

- China accounts for 445 FDA-approved API manufacturers. 

- In 2021, China was the top exporter of pharmaceutical to the U.S. measured by weight, accounting for 190 million kilograms (418 million lbs.) or 23% of total pharma imports. 

- Chinese imports to the U.S. now account for 95 percent of ibuprofen, 91 percent of hydrocortisone, 70 percent of acetaminophen, and 40 to 45 percent of penicillin. 

- China and India account for 90 percent of all prescriptions written in the U.S. 

- Chinese and Indian drug companies present a substantial risk to the health of Americans.

- In June 2023, the Biden FDA considered temporarily importing cancer drugs, cisplatin and carboplatin, from unapproved foreign companies because of domestic shortages. 

- The shortages were exacerbated by Intas Pharmaceuticals, an Indian drug companies that shut down production after it shredded documents and dowsed trashcans in acid when the FDA began to investigate them. 

- The Biden FDA allowed Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, an Indian drug company, to export into the U.S. even though it was under an import ban because of significant violations of current good manufacturing practices at its facility in Baddi.

Under crooked Joe Biden there has been a catastrophic increase in shortages of essential medicines. Last year, new drug shortages were up by 30% with 295 active drug shortages, just by the end of 2022 alone. It's a mess. 

There's currently a shortage of at least 14 critical cancer drugs in the United States. They just can't get it. And every month of delay, cancer treatment increases the risk of death by at least 10%. It's unthinkable that this could be happening in the United States of America in 2023. It is truly unbelievable. We are becoming a third world country very rapidly between our open borders and our bad elections. We are third world. 

But even more dangerously, the top producer of critical medicines that we rely on in the United States is a place called China. China produces 95% of all ibuprofen, 91% of hydrocortisone, 70% of all Tylenol, and nearly half of all penicillin. Can you imagine that? 

This is not just a public health crisis, it's a national security crisis. As part of my plan to obtain total independence from China, we will phase in tariffs and import restrictions to bring back production of all essential medicines to the United States of America where they belong. I signed an executive order to begin this process in 2020 but Biden has shamefully failed to follow through. He wants it ended. He wants to take care of China. 

This is a matter of tremendous urgency. American lives are on the line, and it will be one of my top priorities as President. It will also create countless new American jobs.

The Mediaite spin of the poll fails to account for serious pro-Biden Democratic skews against President Trump and Republicans. 

This is not a sample of likely voters. It’s a sample of adults pared down to self-identified registered voters. They do not use a voter list and do not model it to reflect the past presidential election. 

Per their own methodology it’s a “random sample of 910 adults age 18 and older." “Telephone numbers were selected through a mix of random digit dialing and list-based sampling.” The full sample is weighted for “US Census information” which, according to the exit polls, is significantly different than actual 2020 voter turnout. 

Since they randomly dial phone numbers and do not use a voter list, the sample under polls Republicans and therefore Trump voters. 

Only 27% of the respondents are Republicans. According to media exit polls, Republicans have not been less than 30% of the actual presidential vote since way back in the 20th century. In 2020 according to the exit polls Republicans were 36% of the vote. Therefore, Republicans and Trump voters are too low by 8 or 9 points. 

In 2021, days before the New Jersey Governor’s race this methodology gave Phil Murphy an 11-point lead over challenger Jack Ciattarelli. It turned out to be a 3-point difference on election day. Murphy Maintains Lead | Monmouth University Polling Institute | Monmouth University  

This survey under polls Trump voters and should be discounted by adding 8 or 9 points to the Republicans and President Trump’s vote total. Mediaite needs to analyze polls based on actual voter history.

Earlier this week, President Trump hosted a screening of the new film Sound of Freedom at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster. 

Sound of Freedom grossed $41.7 million in the first week of its release and opened at No. 1 in Texas, Florida, and Arizona theaters. The feature has taken the nation by storm, beating out Disney’s Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny in July 4th movie ticket sales despite appearing in far fewer theaters, securing the top position in the box office for the day. The film which is being distributed by Angel Studios, was produced by Mexican filmmaker Eduardo Verástegui and stars Jim Caviezel. 

Verástegui who was previously appointed a member of President Trump’s Advisory Commission on Hispanic Prosperity and who has continuously advocated for a strong and vital bilateral relationship between the U.S. and Mexico, emphasized the importance of coming together as a society to address this pernicious evil and eradicate child trafficking. 

The film is based on the true story of federal agent Tim Ballard’s mission to save children from child sex traffickers in Colombia. 

On Thursday morning, Caviezel and Verástegui appeared on Fox & Friends to highlight the film’s success and President Trump’s impressive screening at Bedminster. 

In the interview, Caviezel called President Trump “the new Moses” and said, “he's got to be in there because he's going to go after the traffickers.”

I signed legislation to crack down on foreign countries who are not meeting standards for eliminating trafficking, of which there are many. I also signed into law the abolish Human Trafficking Act, which strengthened programs supporting survivors and provided more resources for ending modern slavery. 

We do have modern slavery, if you can believe it. Additionally, I created the first ever White House position focused solely on combating human trafficking and perhaps most importantly, we created the most secure border in US history by far, dealing a major blow to the cartels and traffickers. We built hundreds of miles of wall. We renovated hundreds of miles of wall. We never had anything like it, and then I got Mexico free of charge, to give us 28,000 soldiers to protect us from people coming into our country illegally.

- Automobile manufacturing accounts for over $1 trillion (or nearly 6%) of total US GDP and approximately 11.4% of U.S. manufacturing output. 

- The largest contributors to Biden’s nearly $1 trillion trade deficit are cars and car parts from Europe, Japan, Mexico, Canada, and Korea. 

- In 2022, the U.S. automotive industry reported its worst sales year in more than a decade.

- America’s heartland, which produces more than two-fifths of U.S.-built vehicles and three-fifths of U.S.-built transmissions will be hit the hardest, with Michigan projected to lose an estimated 25,000 jobs, Indiana losing 16,000 jobs, and Ohio losing 14,000 jobs. 

- Automotive manufacturing would seriously suffer in the South as well, with Tennessee losing 7,000 jobs, South Carolina losing 5,600 jobs, and Alabama losing 5,200 jobs. 

- Job losses as a result of Biden’s insane EV mandates have already begun with GM announcing the termination of 14,000 jobs and five assembly plants, Ford announcing the firing of 3,000 jobs in its shift to EVs, and Stellantis (owner of Chrysler) announcing the firing of 3,500 employees as it moves to EVs. 

- Because EVs cost an average of TWICE as much as gas-powered vehicles, take longer to fully charge, and have shorter ranges, almost two-thirds of Americans prefer their next car purchase to be a gas-powered vehicle, nearly half of all car dealerships would never sell an EV, and about half of current EV owners plan to switch back to a gas-powered car. 

- Because China possesses near monopolies on the minerals needed to make EV batteries, Biden’s insane emissions mandates will make the American auto industry dependent on China. 

- In 2022, Joe Biden stripped mining licenses from the U.S. mineral industry in the Midwest, preventing the domestic production of minerals used to make EVs, forcing the U.S. to rely on China for MORE THAN HALF of its EV battery supply needs. 

- EV’s rely on America’s aging electrical grid that has experienced blackouts in the summer. Accommodating for mandated increases in EVs will cost the U.S. tens of billions of dollars in modifications to the electrical grid. 

- Joe Biden’s betrayal of auto manufacturing threatens not only the 1 million auto manufacturing workers nationwide, but the 10 million workers whose jobs rely on cars and car parts, including dealerships, mechanics, and car part suppliers. 

PRESIDENT TRUMP SAVED THE AUTO INDUSTRY ONCE BEFORE 

- On his first day in office, President Trump stopped the job-killing Trans-Pacific Partnership backed by Joe Biden and Ron DeSantis that would have decimated U.S. automakers. 

- President Trump ended the disastrous trade deal known as NAFTA and replaced it with the USMCA. 

- The Biden-endorsed NAFTA cost approximately 305,000 American auto workers their jobs—nearly a third of the entire American auto manufacturing industry. 

- The USMCA is projected to produce $34 billion in new automotive manufacturing investments in the U.S., $23 billion in new annual purchases of U.S.-made automotive parts, and 76,000 U.S. automotive jobs with strict requirements that ensure more cars are made in AMERICAN factories by AMERICAN workers. 

- President Trump renegotiated Obama and Biden’s globalist Korea Trade Deal which would have cost the U.S. 80,000 jobs by flooding our market with foreign pickup trucks. Instead, President Trump secured the 25% “Chicken Tax” tariff on light trucks and DOUBLED the amount of U.S. automotive exports to Korea. 

- President Trump’s tariffs on China protected the American auto industry, decreasing imports of Chinese auto parts by 50%, increasing American production, and keeping Ford, GM, Volvo, and other auto manufacturing plants  in the U.S. 

- President Trump ended Obama and Biden’s insane CAFE fuel economy standards, saving $200 billion in total costs, improving vehicle affordability, and reducing traffic fatalities by an estimated 3,300, according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). 

- President Trump took executive action to address overdependence on Chinese minerals for electric vehicle production leading to a surge in the mining of rare earth minerals. 

- While Obama and Biden LOST 500 auto and auto parts factories, President Trump ADDED over 200 new auto and auto parts plants in just four years. 

- Ford and General Motors collectively invested over $2 billion in domestic auto-manufacturing in plants across Michigan, creating approximately well over 4,000 new auto-manufacturing jobs. 

- In August 2017, Toyota and Mazda announced their plan to build a $1.6 billion assembly plant in Huntsville, Alabama, creating 4,000 jobs. 

- In March 2019, Ford invested an additional $850 million in Flat Rock, creating 900 jobs. 

- GM announced expansions as part of an over $1 billion investment in March 2020 for making the Chevrolet Traverse, the Buick Enclave, and the Cadillac CT4 and CT5 in its Lansing plants, creating approximately 1,200 jobs. 

- About $750 million of the GM investment went to Wayne, Michigan, where 2,700 jobs are being added over the next several years.

And I hope United Auto Workers is listening to this because I think you better endorse Trump because I am going to grow your business and they are destroying your business.  They are absolutely destroying your business.  How people can vote for you just because it’s an automatic Democrat vote.  Look at how they have decimated the car industry over the years. Mexico has 32 percent of the business that we used to have. It’s ridiculous.  But they didn’t do it while I was President, I can tell you that.

DeSantis could have easily joined one of CNN’s high-profile primetime hosts and reached millions of new voters if he had something compelling to say, but with an unlikable candidate, no campaign message, and rapidly sinking poll numbers, the campaign is doing an afternoon hit that nobody will watch. That’s a tactic, not a new strategy, and it’s not going to change DeSantis’ campaign nosedive.

As Governor Ron DeSantis hits the road over the next week, seeking more funds for his campaign, we believe it is important to provide you, the donors who generously fund and raise money, with a list of relevant questions considering the current circumstances faced by his campaign. 

Let's recap those circumstances: 

- Every public poll now shows Ron DeSantis trailing President Trump by a significant margin. 

- Senior campaign officials have even confirmed this disparity, acknowledging they are "way behind" and fighting an "uphill battle." The candidate himself acknowledged his polling showing him in the "twenties." 

According to NBC News, DeSantis campaign officials have said: 

- "From my understanding, if we don't see a bump in the polls, we are basically going to shut down the idea of a national operation," a DeSantis-aligned operative said. 

- This person stated that a shift needs to happen because it is clear to activists and donors that the current operation is not working. Ron DeSantis needs to signal to them that he recognizes this fact before any future poll shows him falling from second place nationally or in an early state. 

According to American Pulse, a nationally recognized Polling firm, a New Hampshire survey released on Friday, July 14th, showed Ron DeSantis and Chris Christie essentially tied, with 10.5% and 10.0% respectively. President Trump was at 47.5%. 

According to ABC News: 

- DeSantis' early struggles to catch President Trump have led some of the Florida governor's major donors to privately question his viability as a presidential candidate while Trump is still in the race, as multiple sources have told ABC News. 

- Sources have also indicated that some top donors who had planned to support DeSantis have started exploring other primary candidates, including meeting with individuals like Chris Christie, Senator Tim Scott, and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley. 

As if that were not enough, the full extent of disorganization within the DeSantis campaign is now coming to light after public filings revealed that the campaign is spending unsustainably on a bloated payroll and not raising sufficient funds necessary for a long-term campaign. 

NBC News summarized it well: 

- "The numbers suggest, for the first time, that solvency could be a threat to DeSantis' campaign, which has touted its fundraising ability as a key measure of viability. They reflect the broader reality that DeSantis stalled after his launch, polling ahead of the Republican primary pack but far behind former President Donald Trump." 

The New York Times also raised a point: 

- "As a fuller financial picture of the 2024 presidential race emerged with Saturday's    campaign filing deadline, trouble appeared to lurk below the surface for Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida." 

- "Mr. DeSantis is spending hand over fist, and his dependence on large donors suggests a  lack of grassroots support." 

If the campaign has not demonstrated sufficient enthusiasm to build a national fundraising base who is motivated to contribute, how can they effectively implement what they call a "long slog strategy"? 

The answer is simple: They can't. 

With the DeSantis campaign arm, Never (Always) Back Down, knocking on thousands of doors in the scorching summer of Nevada and South Carolina with out-of-state and unmotivated door knockers, there are not many positives to highlight. 

As investors, you undoubtedly have some questions, and here are a few that should be raised: 

- What exactly are the 93 individuals on the campaign payroll doing? 

- Can you provide assurance to SuperPAC donors that Jeff Roe is not claiming $0.68 for each dollar spent, as his private investment information suggests? 

- What is the campaign's expenditure breakdown, and can you provide the return on investment for direct mail and online fundraising operations? 

- Despite the SuperPAC and affiliated organizations like the Club for No Growth and Koch Brothers operations spending tens of millions of dollars to prop up Ron DeSantis while attacking President Trump, the numbers have not budged. In fact, they have moved in favor of President Trump. What is the campaign's plan to change this trajectory? 

- If the Corporate Media is responsible, as the Governor has stated, for the polling collapse (not Republican voters), why seek attention from Jake Tapper? 

- The SuperPAC's pollster, who is spending millions of dollars of your money, often highlights the Governor's high favorability rating. However, people are still widely supporting President Donald Trump. Isn't that a problem? 

- How much has the campaign and SuperPAC spent on unmotivated door knockers? 

- Even Governor DeSantis is now admitting his post-midterm polling numbers were a “sugar high.” Were you as donors aware that the Governor and his team thought this? 

Of course, if I were you, I wouldn't hold my breath expecting any answers or accountability. Given the aforementioned points, if you still collectively pour millions of dollars into the failing Ron DeSantis campaign, you can't say you weren't warned.

He will impose real standards on American colleges and universities, to include defending the American tradition and Western civilization, protecting free speech, eliminating wasteful administrative positions that drive up costs, removing all DEI bureaucrats, offering options for accelerated and low-cost degrees, providing meaningful job placement and career services, and implementing college entrance and exit exams to prove that students are getting their money's worth.

Our secret weapon will be the college accreditation system. It's called accreditation for a reason. 

The accreditors are supposed to ensure that schools are not ripping off students and taxpayers, but they have failed totally. When I return to the White House, I will fire the radical Left accreditors that have allowed our colleges to become dominated by Marxist Maniacs and lunatics. 

We will then accept applications for new accreditors who will impose real standards on colleges once again and once and for all.

Colleges have gotten hundreds of billions of dollars from hard-working taxpayers and now we are going to get this anti-American insanity out of our institutions once and for all.

DeSantis has flip-flopped on U.S. intervention in Ukraine in a recent interview with Piers Morgan, where he called Putin a “war criminal” who should be “held accountable.” 

The New York Times, wrote that neo-con globalists have “claimed DeSantis as their own.”

Calling Russia a “gas station with a bunch of nuclear weapons” — or calling Putin [a] QUOTE “authoritarian gas station attendant with some legacy of nuclear weapons from the old Soviet Union” — is exactly the kind of simple-minded thinking that has produced decades of failed diplomacy and ultimately, war. Where is that war going? 

Those such as Mitt Romney and Ron DeSantis — very much alike — who insist on arrogantly treating Russia as deeply inferior to the other nations of the world, with no history or culture or pride, are not only ignorant and foolish, but their attitude makes it impossible to negotiate peace. Absolutely impossible. 

Under my administration, we were tough on Russia — tougher than any administration before — but we also demonstrated RESPECT for Russia and the Russian people. We demonstrated understanding for Russian history, and the fact that Russia lost over 20 million lives in World War II. They were fighting with us. 

This kind of neo-con rhetoric, mocking Russia’s nuclear weapons, along with implying that Putin must be tried and presumably executed as a WAR CRIMINAL, only increases the chance of deadly nuclear escalation. Fundamentally, it shows a lack of depth, a lack of seriousness, and a lack of sophistication on the subtleties and complexities of foreign policy. You can’t do certain things and end up with peace. 

This is not the time for on-the-job training as we face the possibility of nuclear war. And our leaders, if you call them that, got us there. This is where we are. The word “nuclear” was never even mentioned during the Trump Administration. 

Now it’s being mentioned every hour of every day. We need a statesman and a peacemaker in the White House, not someone who recites mindless and recycled talking points to win the approval of the failed foreign policy establishment. They didn’t know what they were doing. In 2024, I am the only candidate who can prevent World War III. I will prevent World War III — there’s nobody else that’s going to do that.

Sound of Freedom grossed $41.7 million in the first week of its release and opened at No. 1 in Texas, Florida, and Arizona theaters. The feature has taken the nation by storm, beating out Disney’s Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny in July 4th movie ticket sales despite appearing in far fewer theaters, securing the top position in the box office for the day. The film which is being distributed by Angel Studios, was produced by Mexican filmmaker Eduardo Verástegui and stars Jim Caviezel. 

Verástegui who was previously appointed a member of President Trump’s Advisory Commission on Hispanic Prosperity and who has continuously advocated for a strong and vital bilateral relationship between the U.S. and Mexico, emphasized the importance of coming together as a society to address this pernicious evil and eradicate child trafficking. 

The film is based on the true story of federal agent Tim Ballard’s mission to save children from child sex traffickers in Colombia. Liberal media outlets like the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and The Hollywood Reporter have refused to review the film, while publications like Rolling Stone, Washington Post, CNN, and The Guardian have trashed the film and mocked the millions of movie-goers who purchased tickets to screenings. 

In his first month in office, President Trump said he was “prepared to bring the full force and weight of our government” to end human trafficking, and signed an executive order directing federal law enforcement to prioritize demolishing the criminal organizations behind forced labor, sex trafficking, and child exploitation. 

President Trump’s leadership resulted in a 14% increase in human trafficking convictions in 2017 over the prior year. In 2017, President Trump’s Director of National Intelligence raised the issue of human trafficking to a top priority for America’s intelligence agencies. In 2018, President Trump made history as the first president to participate in the President’s Interagency Task Force to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons.

RE: President Trump Celebrates Fourth of July in Iowa and New Hampshire Following Massive Rally with 75,000 Patriots in South Carolina

On Saturday, President Donald J. Trump celebrated Independence Day on Main Street in Pickens, South Carolina with a reported 75,000 proud American patriots. 

President Trump announced the endorsements of over 250 grassroots leaders representing all 46 counties in the Palmetto State. 

On the heels of his triumphant rally in Pickens, President Trump’s campaign will attend nearly a dozen Fourth of July parades across the First-in-the-South primary state. 

A survey by National Public Affairs shows President Trump trouncing the Republican field by 23 points, dominating Ron DeSantis and state natives Tim Scott and Nikki Haley. 

Last week, President Trump headlined the New Hampshire Federation of Republican Women’s most successful Lilac Luncheon ever, and later opened his first campaign headquarters in Manchester. 

The Trump Campaign announced its initial New Hampshire Grassroots Leadership Team with over 150 dedicated activists and organizers throughout the Granite State’s ten counties, adding to the over 50 New Hampshire legislators who earlier this year endorsed the President’s campaign. 

President Trump’s campaign will celebrate America’s glorious history, our heroes and our freedom at seven major Independence Day parades across the Live Free or Die state. 

President Trump beats DeSantis by 28 points in the First-in-the-Nation primary state, according to a new Saint Anselm poll. A New Hampshire Journal / coefficient poll finds Trump with a 34 point lead against DeSantis. 

On Friday, President Trump returns to Council Bluffs, Iowa where he will tout his incredible record of fearlessly defending Iowa farmers and delivering for Iowa's agriculture and Ethanol industries. 

President Trump previously announced endorsements from over 150 elected officials and grassroots leaders in all 99 counties in the Hawkeye State. 

President Trump’s campaign will join more than 30 Independence Day parades in Iowa to celebrate American Liberty founded 247 years ago. 

A recent survey by McLaughlin & Associates shows President Trump with a commanding lead over DeSantis in the First-in-the-Nation caucuses, with Trump beating DeSantis by 32 points. 

Not only is President Trump dominating DeSantis in South Carolina, New Hampshire and Iowa, he also holds a massive 30-point lead in Nevada, besting DeSantis 52% to 22%. 

Nationally, President Trump trounces DeSantis by 34 points in a new Fox News poll, with Trump expanding his lead by 19 percentage points since February. The same poll finds DeSantis trails Trump by 50 points with younger GOP voters. Surveys by Morning Consult and Emerson College find Trump with a 38-point lead, with DeSantis’s support falling to record lows. A recent survey from CBS shows Trump with 61 percent of the Republican primary vote. Polling by Big Village and Harvard-Harris show President Trump leading the Republican field by 41 and 45 percent, respectively. 

Four newly released consecutive polls have shown only President Trump can beat Joe Biden. President Trump has a 4 point lead over Biden in the latest YouGov poll, a 2 point lead according to HarrisX and Premise, and a 3 point lead in the latest Morning Consult survey.
