- Keep men out of women’s sports. 

- Create a new credentialing body to certify teachers who embrace patriotic values, and understand that their job is not to indoctrinate children, but to educate them. 

- Implement massive funding preferences and favorable treatment for all states and school districts that make the following historic reforms in education: 

- Abolish teacher tenure for grades K through 12 and adopt Merit Pay. 

- Drastically cut number of school administrators, including the “DEI” bureaucracy. 

- Adopt a Parental Bill of Rights that includes complete curriculum transparency, and a form of universal school choice. 

- Implement the direct election of school principals by the parents, as the ultimate form of local control.

Our public schools have been taken over by the Radical Left maniacs. Here is my plan to save American education and restore power to American parents. 

First, we will cut federal funding for any school or program pushing Critical Race Theory, gender ideology, or other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content onto our children. We are not going to allow it to happen. 

Next, I will direct the Department of Justice and Education to open Civil Rights investigations into any school district that has engaged in race-based discrimination. That includes discrimination against Asian Americans. 

The Marxism being preached in our schools is also totally hostile to Judeo-Christian teachings, and in many ways, it is resembling an established new religion. Can’t let that happen. For this reason, my administration will aggressively pursue potential violations of the Establishment Clause and the Free Exercise Clause of the Constitution. That’s very simple. 

Additionally, on Day One, we will begin to find and remove the radicals, zealots, and Marxists who have infiltrated the federal Department of Education, and that also includes others, and you know who you are. Because We are not going to allow anyone to hurt our children. Joe Biden has given these lunatics unchecked power—I will have them fired and escorted from the building. And I will tell Congress that any appropriations bill I sign must reaffirm the president’s ability to remove defiant employees from the job. It’s all about our children. 

I will veto the sinister effort to weaponize civics education. We will keep men out of women’s sports. And we will create a new credentialing body that will be the Gold Standard, anywhere in the world, to certify teachers who embrace patriotic values, support our way of life, and understand that their job is not to indoctrinate children, but very simply to educate them. 

Finally, I will implement massive funding preferences and favorable treatment for all states and school districts that make the following historic reforms in education: 

- One, abolish teacher tenure for grades K through 12, so we can remove BAD teachers, and adopt Merit Pay to reward GOOD teachers. We want great teachers in our schools. 

- Two, drastically cut the bloated number of school administrators, including the costly, divisive, and unnecessary Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion bureaucracy. 

- Three, adopt a Parental Bill of Rights that includes complete curriculum transparency, and a form of universal school choice. 

- And Four, implement the direct election of school principals by the parents. It’s all about the parents for their children. More than anyone else, parents know what their children need. If any principal is not getting the job done, the parents should be able to vote to fire them and select someone who will. This will be the ultimate form of local control. Our country has frankly never had anything like it, or let’s say for at least the last fifty years. 

As the saying goes, personnel is policy, and at the end of the day, if we have pink- haired Communists teaching our kids, we have a major problem. 

When I am President, we will put PARENTS back in charge and give them the final say. We will get back to teaching reading, writing, and math – called arithmetic —and we will give our kids the high quality, pro-American education they deserve. 

We spend more per pupil than any nation in the world by double. We are going to keep spending our money, but we are now going to get our money’s worth. We are at the end of every list on education, and yet we spend the most. We are going to change it around. We may spend the most, but we are going to be tops in education no matter where you go anywhere in the world.

A WOKE TAKEOVER OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT: Joe Biden recently signed executive order is designed to embed Marxist ideology in every part of the federal government. 

Biden’s order requires that nearly every federal department and agency establish an “equity” enforcement squad to implement a woke takeover of the entire federal government. 

The Marxist concept of “equity” involves the sinister practice of awarding jobs and benefits and enforcing government programs based on skin color or sexual identity rather than on merit and need. 

Biden’s order weaponizes every tool of government power to push this Marxism and Communism. 

Under Biden’s order, within 30 days, over 20 agencies including the Treasury, the Department of Justice, Department of Health and Human Services, and the Department of Defense will be required to implement an “Agency Equity Team.” 

These teams will be tasked with infusing radical left-wing concepts and training throughout the federal workforce as well as submitting annual equity plans to a new White House Steering Committee on Equity. 

A member of Biden’s administration recently admitted that the goal is to put the concept of equity “at the center of how this government operates.” 

Biden’s order re-establishes discrimination in America’s federal programs and forces the creation of an insidious system that discriminates based on race and sex. 

BIDEN’S DISCRIMINATORY AGENDA: The Biden administration has a long history of abandoning the principles of equal treatment for all Americans and pursuing discriminatory and Marxist policies instead. 

From day one, Biden has made it his mission to infuse radical policies into the federal government. Biden abolished President Trump’s 1776 Commission and quickly rolled out an education agenda that encourages teaching American children to erase the Declaration of Independence and its timeless truth that “all men are created equal.” 

Last year, the Biden administration released 25 “equity action plans” that effectively call for allocating government resources based on an individual's race or identity rather than need. 

Multiple judges have found that the Biden administration has engaged in unconstitutional discrimination under the guise of “equity.” 

The Biden administration attempted to grant loan forgiveness to certain groups of farmers while excluding others before the program was blocked by a federal judge. 

Another federal judge found that the Biden administration was engaging in race based discrimination in the allocation of COVID relief to restaurant owners. 

The Biden administration and Democrats have also used “equity” as a catch-all term to justify each one of their radical policies, from the Green New Deal to defunding the police.

The Oval Office is a wonderful place, but also a wonderful place to stop things that are very bad for our country from happening.

7.      Direct the Department of Justice to investigate Big Pharma and the big hospital networks to determine whether they have: 

Deliberately covered up horrific long-term side-effects of “sex transitions” to get rich at the expense of vulnerable patients. 

Illegally marketed hormones and puberty blockers, which are in no way licensed or approved for this use. 

8.      Direct the Department of Education to inform states and school districts that if any teacher or school official suggests to a child that they could be trapped in the wrong body, they will be faced with severe consequences, including, potential Civil Rights violations for sex discrimination, and the elimination of federal funding. 

9.      As part of our new credentialing body for teachers, we will promote positive education about the nuclear family, the roles of mothers and fathers, and celebrating rather than erasing the things that make men and women different and unique.

 

Ask Congress to pass a bill establishing that: 

The only genders recognized by the U.S. government are male and female—and they are assigned at birth. 

Title IX prohibits men from participating in women’s sports. 

Protects the rights of parents from being forced to allow their minor child to assume a new gender identity without the parents’ consent.

Bedminster, NJ— A new poll from St. Anselm College Survey Center shows President Donald J. Trump expanding his commanding lead in the New Hamsphire GOP primary, while Ron DeSantis dropped 10 points since March. 

The survey, conducted June 21-23, found that 47% of Republican voters in New Hampshire support President Trump with every other candidate in the teens and single digits.

Poll after poll has shown Ron DeSantis' utter collapse in the Granite State—a recent New Hampshire Journal/Coefficient survey found DeSantis trailing President Trump by 34 points, at 13%. 

Another poll from National Research Inc. found that DeSantis has tanked to an all-time low of 12% in New Hampshire.

President Trump will sign an executive order ending automatic citizenship for the children of illegal aliens. 

On Day One, President Trump will reinstate his incredibly successful border policies, including safe third agreements, Remain in Mexico, asylum bans, building more border wall, and prosecuting illegal Aliens. 

On Day One, President Trump will secure our southern border by shifting federal law enforcement to immigration enforcement, issuing a policy directive establishing a Core National Defense Mission to protect American sovereignty, and moving thousands of troops currently stationed overseas to our OWN border. 

The U.S. Border Patrol has reported three times as many illegal border crossings under Joe Biden than took place under President Trump.[1] The Biden administration continues to break records for historic illegal border crossings, with over 6.3 million illegal crossings since taking office, more than the populations of Los Angeles and Houston combined.[2] 

Data shows 191,899 illegal immigrants were apprehended attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border in March 2023 alone.[3] 5 million illegal immigrants have been apprehended by Customs and Border Protection and an estimated 1.3 million ‘gotaways’ have escaped past Border Patrol.[4] 

In his first year in office, Biden passed nearly 90 executive orders undoing successful Trump border and immigration policies.[5] Since, Joe Biden has encouraged unending migration. 

On January 5, Biden announced unilateral executive mass amnesty and work permits for 30,000 new illegals every month before they even reach our borders[6]—allowing migrants to apply for entry from a mobile app. 

As a result, foreign nationals from around the world and deadly drugs continue to flow across the southern border. In Joe Biden’s America, 300 people are poisoned with fentanyl each day.[7] 2,848 pounds of deadly fentanyl and 13,639 pounds of methamphetamine were seized at the southern border in March 2023 alone.[8] 

On Joe Biden’s watch, record amounts of deadly fentanyl have entered the country through ports of entry and illegal border crossings. In FY 2022, CBP and Border Patrol agents seized over 14,104 pounds of deadly fentanyl.[9] 

For the first time in the history of the United States, our nation surpassed 100,000 overdoses in a 12-month period. Of those 100,000 overdose fatalities reported from April 2020 to April 2021, over 64,000 deaths were due to fentanyl — a synthetic opioid that is 80 to 100 times stronger than morphine.[10] 

Amid the record numbers of illegal border crossings, the Biden administration repealed Title 42, which immigration officials have used 2.5 million times at the southern border to expel migrants to Mexico or their home countries.[11]

The Biden administration immediately revived the “catch-and-release” policy, sparking a surge in illegal border crossings since Biden has taken office.[12] 

Last year alone, agents seized enough fentanyl to kill 379 million people—more than the entire population of the United States.[16] 

Additionally, at least 98 known or suspected terrorists attempted to cross the southern border in 2022—a figure that doesn’t include any “gotaways.”[17] Last year, federal agents uncovered a plot by a known ISIS-affiliated immigrant to smuggle four Iraqi nationals across the open border. 

While the Northern Triangle nations—comprised of El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras—have continued to violate America’s sovereignty, Biden’s border czar Kamala Harris has provided the Northern Triangle with record foreign aid.[18] 

Since Joe Biden took office, convicted-criminal-alien encounters—including rapes, murders, and assaults—have increased by 466% in the United States.[19] 

To conceal the true cost of the border crisis, the Biden administration has recruited NGOs to settle illegal aliens in states across the country, in exchange for federal grants worth over $137 million.[20]

President Trump secured our southern border and honored the U.S. Border Patrol.

President Trump built over 450 miles of the world’s most robust and advanced border wall, resulting in an 87% reduction in illegal border crossings where the wall stands.[21]

The Trump administration fully enforced America’s immigration laws with the Department of Justice prosecuting a record number of immigration-related cases.[22]

President Trump ended the dangerous policy of “catch-and-release,” which allowed illegal aliens to be released into the United States, often never to be seen again. 

To combat asylum claim abuse and backlog for authentic asylum claims, the Trump administration trained frontline Border Patrol agents to assist USCIS perform credible fear screenings for illegal border crossers.[23] 

Under President Trump, the United States entered a historic partnership with the Mexican government to deploy tens of thousands of Mexican soldiers to secure their side of the border. Additionally, President Trump ordered nearly 5,000 troops to the southern border. 

President Trump has pledged to shut down Biden’s border disaster. He will again end catch-and-release, restore Remain in Mexico, and eliminate asylum fraud. 

President Trump’s plan to secure the border includes a commitment to declare war and defeat the cartels, just as President Trump did with ISIS. 

In addition to restoring strong border security, President Trump will deploy all necessary military assets, including the U.S. Navy to impose a full naval embargo on the cartels. 

President Trump has also committed to direct the Department of Defense to make appropriate use of special forces, cyber warfare, and other overt and covert actions to inflict maximum damage on cartel leadership, infrastructure, and operations. 

President Trump has pledged to designate the dangerous cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, to curb their access to global financial systems. 

Additionally, President Trump has vowed to form an unprecedented partnership with neighboring governments in our region to defeat these cartels. President Trump is prepared to take every action, including exposing every bribe, payoff, and corruption that is allowing the cartels to continue their brutal reign. 

President Trump will work with Congress to pass legislation that ensures drug smugglers and human traffickers receive the death penalty.

PRESIDENT TRUMP WILL WORK WITH CONGRESS TO PASS THE TRUMP RECIPROCAL TRADE ACT: 

- As one of his top economic priorities, President Trump will stop the flow of American jobs overseas by passing the Trump Reciprocal Trade Act.

- Under the landmark legislation, if any foreign country imposes a tariff on American-made goods that is higher than the tariff imposed by the U.S., President Trump will have the authority to impose a reciprocal tariff on that country’s goods. 

- To ensure fairness, the Act will empower President Trump to negotiate the reduction of tariffs on foreign goods if foreign countries agree to reduce their tariffs on American goods. 

- The Trump Reciprocal Trade Act will put AMERICA FIRST and continue President Trump’s unparalleled trade success that reduced America’s trade deficit, grew wages, and created more than half a million new manufacturing jobs. 

- President Trump’s landmark legislation advances the views of 91 percent of conservatives and even 75 percent of Democrats, who support placing reciprocal tariffs on foreign imports to protect American workers.

 

THE TRUMP RECIPROCAL TRADE ACT WILL RESTORE FAIRNESS TO TRADE, BOOSTING AMERICAN INDUSTRY: 

- The Trump Reciprocal Trade Act has a wealth of precedent in American history. 

- America historically imposed tariffs on over 95 percent of all imports, with an average tariff of 37 percent on imports during America’s economic climb between 1816 and 1947. 

- For decades, the U.S. government received over 80% of its revenue through tariffs on foreign goods, instead of taxes on Americans. 

- However, U.S. tariffs are now among the lowest in the world, making America the most import-pressured country in the world. 

- The current China tariff average is 341 percent higher than the United States, and the European Union tariff average is 50 percent higher than the U.S. The world average tariff rate is more than twice that of the U.S. 

- For example, food items like cereals or other preparatory goods are tariffed at 32.9 percent by India, 19.5 percent by China, and only 3.1 percent by the U.S. India applies a tariff of 25.3 percent on transportation equipment, while the U.S. only tariffs those goods at 2.9 percent. 

- When the U.S. set low tariffs on foreign goods, foreign countries generally did not reciprocate, allowing them to flood the American market with cheap goods while keeping high, protective tariffs on their own markets. 

- These unfair and unbalanced trade policies have hurt American businesses which cannot compete against their tariff-protected foreign rivals. The result has been a decrease in demand for U.S. domestic production, leading to a loss of manufacturing jobs and lower wages. 

- President Trump’s return to common sense, reciprocal trade protections under the Trump Reciprocal Trade Act will strengthen industry in the United States. 

- Matching the tariff practices of our foreign rivals will help protect American jobs, end our reliance on foreign competitors, and generate hundreds of billions of dollars in government revenue from foreign companies. 

 

JOE BIDEN’S “AMERICA LAST” TRADE POLICIES HAVE GUTTED AMERICAN JOBS AND INDUSTRY: 

- While President Trump plans to tax foreign rivals, Joe Biden stands by and does nothing while our foreign rivals tax American industry. 

- Since the moment he took office, Joe Biden’s globalist trade policies skyrocketed the deficit, sending jobs and hundreds of billions of dollars overseas.

- The agricultural deficit shot up to more than $2 billion last year and is projected to increase to a record $14.5 billion in 2023. 

- Under Joe Biden, the trade deficit with China has risen almost 10 percent to $383 billion just last year. 

- The results of Joe Biden’s increases in the U.S. trade deficit are lower wages and fewer jobs for American workers. 

- Real wages have sharply declined over 28 months under Biden’s weak trade policies that flood the American market with cheap foreign goods produced by cheap foreign labor. 

- The $4 trillion in foreign imports in 2022 under Biden was the highest EVER.

THE TRUMP RECIPROCAL TRADE ACT IS AN ADDITIONAL TOOL, ALONG WITH UNIVERSAL BASELINE TARIFFS, TO SHRINK THE TRADE DEFICIT AND BRING BACK AMERICAN JOBS AND WEALTH: 

- President Trump previously announced a plan to replace the Biden system of punishing domestic producers and rewarding outsourcers with a new system that rewards domestic production while taxing foreign companies. 

- Rather than raising taxes on American producers, President Trump will impose tariffs on FOREIGN producers through a system of universal baseline tariffs on most imported goods. 

- Higher tariffs will increase incrementally if other countries manipulate their currency or otherwise engage in unfair trading practices. 

- As tariffs on foreign countries go up, taxes on American workers, families, and businesses can come down. 

- Raising tariffs on foreign producers while lowering taxes for domestic producers will help keep jobs and wealth in the United States. 

- Higher tariffs create millions of new jobs, increase real household income, boost GDP, increase domestic manufacturing output, and generate hundreds of billions of dollars in new government revenue. 

- President Trump’s universal baseline tariffs will restore a level playing field for American businesses worldwide. 

- President Trump will also REVOKE China’s Most Favored Nation trade status. It is long past time China stops getting preferential treatment as they undermine American national security interests around the world.

Joe Biden has run up record trade deficits, also known as losses, higher than any president in history by far. These gaping wounds are costing our country countless jobs and trillions and trillions of dollars in wealth. 

One of my top economic priorities will be to stem this bleeding and put American workers on a level playing field. 

It’s about time. And I must say, I did it three years ago, and they were doing great, but that’s been blown out the window by the Biden Administration.

But to that end, I will pass landmark legislation that will be known as the Trump Reciprocal Trade Act. 

If India, China, or any other country hits us with a 100 or 200 percent tariff on American-made goods, we will hit them with the same exact tariff. In other words, 100 percent is 100 percent. If they charge US, we charge THEM—an eye for an eye, a tariff for a tariff, same exact amount. 

One thing is going to happen: probably they drop the tariff, but if they don’t, that’s okay. We’ll take in plenty of money. 

Under the Trump Reciprocal Trade Act, other countries will have two choices—they’ll get rid of their tariffs on us, or they will pay us hundreds of billions of dollars, and the United States will make an absolute FORTUNE. There will be no more unilateral economic surrender like we’ve done for many many decades. 

This will especially help our great farmers in Iowa and other Agricultural states, and it will help our manufactures all across the nation. We will be knocking down barriers to American farm products, American dairy products, steel—just about everything you can think of. From all around the world they take advantage of us, but no more. 

We must have FAIRNESS and RECIPROCITY. 

That’s the word—reciprocity. They do it to us; we do it to them. 

This will be a key part of our strategy to return jobs and wealth to the United States and launch an economic boom that will lift up our middle class and eliminate our dependence on China and other countries. And it is something that has been waiting to happen for a long time. 

We have been the whipping post for everyone else. We have been a country that was disrespected on trade, and frankly, disrespected on just about everything. No more.

President Donald. J Trump reduced violent crime across the country and stood strongly with America’s law enforcement. On Joe Biden’s watch, violent crime has skyrocketed in virtually every American city and has put targets on the back of our law enforcement officials. 

In Joe Biden’s first year in office, twelve major cities broke all-time high murder records.[1] 

Since Joe Biden has taken office, over 779 people have been murdered in the city of Los Angeles, a 44% increase from the first two years of President Trump’s term.[2] Robberies, assaults, auto thefts in Los Angeles have increased every year since Joe Biden took office.[3] 

At least nine cities, seven of which are Democrat-run, saw record homicides last year.[4] 

Philadelphia recorded the highest number of homicides in its history in 2021, followed by its second-highest number of homicides in 2022.[5] Crime data shows New York City saw a 22% hike in crime in 2022 from 2021, with the most gun-related arrests in 27 years.[6] New York City set new felony crimes record last year, with the most felony crimes reported in at least 15 years.[7] 

In Washington D.C., carjackings increased for the fifth straight year.[8] 

In Chicago, crime increased 61% in the first three weeks of 2023 alone, compared to the previous year.[9]Murders in Compton, California nearly doubled in Joe Biden’s first year in office—an increase of 89% from 2020.[10] Walmart announced that it will be closing half its stores in Chicago.[11] 

As the Biden administration does little to curb crime across the country, one of America’s biggest retailers, Target reported that looting has resulted in losses in excess of $400 million in 2022 alone.[12] CVS, one of the nation’s largest drugstore chains reported a 300% increase in theft in 2022.[13] 

Rite Aid, a national drugstore chain, suffered over $5 million in losses as a result of theft in New York City, in their most recent quarter alone.[14] 

As Democrat-run cities become bastions of violence and rioting, Joe Biden ended the practice of supplying local and state law enforcement with surplus military equipment and repeatedly proposed having unarmed civilian mental health officials respond to police calls.[15] 

In April 2023, Biden commuted the sentences of 31 people convicted of drug crimes.[16] 

Joe Biden has supported and promoted radical left-wing prosecutors and district attorneys, including hiring Soros-funded DA Rachael Rollins as Massachusetts’s top federal prosecutor.[17] 

Joe Biden’s condemnation of America’s law enforcement has resulted in 45% increase in police retirements, with another 18% resigning altogether since he took office.[18] 

The Baltimore Police Department lost about 280 officers last year, with the city short at least 600 officers.[19] 

It requires little imagination to explain the mass exodus of America’s police officers. Joe Biden publicly denounced his own Border Patrol agents over false claims that horseback agents “whipped” migrants with their reins, even referring four agents for discipline.[20] 

While the nation faces a police recruitment shortage, Joe Biden past comments include suggesting that police officers should be trained to shoot suspects in the leg, when they feel lethal force is necessary—drawing harsh criticism from the law enforcement community.[21] 

President Trump respected America’s law enforcement, reduced violent crime, and showed compassion through meaningful criminal justice reform. 

During President Trump’s term, violent crime dropped over 5 percent and the murder rate decreased by over 7 percent.[22] To combat a surge of violent crime in cities, President Trump launched Operation Legend, resulting in more than 5,500 arrests.[23] 

President Trump deployed the National Guard and federal law enforcement to Kenosha to stop violence and deployed federal agents to save a federal courthouse in Portland from rioters.[24] Additionally, President Trump signed an executive order outlining ten-year prison sentences for destroying federal property and monuments.[25] 

The Trump administration’s Department of Justice provided nearly $400 million for new law enforcement hiring. President Trump backed America’s law enforcement officers and earned the endorsement of the 355,000 members of the Fraternal Order of Police. [26] 

President Trump signed an executive order to help prevent violence against law enforcement officers, prosecutors, judges, and their families.[27] 

To combat protect communities, the Trump administration made hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of surplus military equipment available to local law enforcement.[28] President Trump signed the Fix NICS Act, to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous criminals, the STOP School Violence Act, and created a Commission on School Safety to examine ways to make our schools safer.[29] 

President Trump established a task force to help combat the tragedy of missing or murdered Native American women and girls.[30] Also, President Trump created the first-ever White House position focused solely on combating human trafficking.[31] 

President Trump has called on Congress to immediately vote to exercise its legal authority over Washington, D.C. to restore law and order to our nation’s capital.[32] 

If Marxist prosecutors betray their oaths and refuse to protect law-abiding citizens, President Trump has committed to send federal law enforcement into America’s cities to restore peace and public safety.[33] 

President Trump will ask Congress to ensure that drug smugglers and traffickers can receive the death penalty.

When President Trump is back in the White House, the drug kingpins and vicious traffickers will never sleep soundly again.

According to Christina Pushaw, DeSantis “speaks positively of vaccines in every public appearance (1600+ times).” 

In 2021, it was reported that DeSantis’ top donor invested in a monoclonal antibody treatment sold by Regeneron, which was then promoted by DeSantis. 

In December 2020, DeSantis tweeted his support for the incredible potential of Operation Warp Speed.

DeSantis’ Real Record On Covid

On March 2, 2020, DeSantis issued an executive order directing state Surgeon General Scott Rivkees to declare a public health emergency in Florida due to Covid. 

On March 17, 2020, DeSantis issued an Executive Order that would reduce density and crowds in restaurants, bars, nightclubs and beaches. He also declared that Universities should switch to remote learning for the rest of the spring semester. 

On March 20, 2020, DeSantis closed restaurants and gyms. A few days later, DeSantis asked President Trump to declare Florida a major federal disaster area. 

DeSantis also ordered Floridians to quarantine for 14 days. DeSantis set up checkpoints to quarantine travelers who arrived in Florida. 

DeSantis kept open abortion clinics, despite attempts by pro-life groups to close them. 

DeSantis praised President Trump’s record in Florida during Covid stating that, “The president's been great for Florida.” 

In April 2020, DeSantis praised Trump’s efforts in helping him secure masks for residents of Florida. 

DeSantis touted President Trump’s federal loan program that helped support small business during the pandemic. 

He also praised President Trump as “outstanding” during the pandemic. 

On April 18, 2020, DeSantis ordered all schools to be closed for the remainder of the year. 

On April 25, 2020, DeSantis said he was in no rush to lift restrictions on Florida’s businesses. 

In June 2020, DeSantis urged Florida residents to wear masks while in public. 

In July 2020, DeSantis extended the state of emergency in Florida by an additional 60 days. 

In September 2020, DeSantis was seen wearing a mask outside while greeting President Trump at the airport in Florida.

In October 2020, DeSantis praised President Trump for the federal government’s response to the pandemic. 

He also praised Trump’s response to Covid during an October rally in Tampa.

 

Despite DeSantis’ Attempts To Distance Himself From Fauci, He Praised Him During The Pandemic

In March 2020, DeSantis tweeted, “Dr. Birx and Dr. Fauci agree; there is too high a risk that travelers from the NY Tri-State Area have been exposed to #COVID19. I appreciate their support for my executive order requiring such individuals flying into FL to self-quarantine for 14 days.”

In April, DeSantis trailed President Trump by 7 points—with 30% support in Iowa. Now, DeSantis has tumbled to 19% in Iowa, according to recent polling data.

In New Hampshire, DeSantis Super PACs have doled out over 1.3 million since January on cable and broadcast television ads since January. 

Ron trailed President Trump by 13 points in March—with 29% support. As of this week, Ron has plummeted to a whopping 12% support—dropping 17 points in New Hampshire.

In South Carolina, DeSantis-affiliated Super PACs have spent more than $3.6 million in broadcast and cable television ads since January.

In January, DeSantis trailed President Trump by 10 points—with 28% support among Republican primary voters. By late May—despite a barrage of pro-DeSantis TV ads—Ron had shed nearly a third of his support, polling at a measly 18% in The Palmetto State.

DeSantis Super PACs have spent over $5.1 million in national networks and cable broadcast television ads—only for Ron to continue his free fall in national polls to an all-time low of 14% support among Republican primary voters.

PRESIDENT TRUMP WILL RESTORE THE IMPOUNDMENT POWER OF THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH: 

- President Trump will restore the Impoundment Power, reestablishing the balance of power between the Legislative and the Executive branches. 

- On Day One, President Trump will direct federal agencies to identify portions of their budgets where massive savings are possible through the Impoundment Power, while maintaining the same level of funding for defense, Social Security, and Medicare. 

- President Trump will take action to challenge the constitutionality of limits placed on the Impoundment Power by the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974 (CBA), the source of Congress’s usurpation of Executive Branch powers. 

- President Trump will also work with Congress to overturn the limits of the CBA. 

- In passing the CBA, Congress handcuffed the president from preventing wasteful spending. 

- The CBA dramatically limited impoundment, the power of the president to choose not to unnecessarily spend taxpayer dollars, forcing the executive branch to spend every penny of congressionally appropriated funds. 

- Under current law, the president can request rescissions of funds, but those requests must be approved by both houses of Congress. The president can only defer the use of funds in limited instances. 

- Leading constitutional scholars agree that impoundment is an inherent power of the president. 

- Congress has the “power of the purse,” so its appropriations necessarily set a ceiling on federal spending for a particular purpose, but it should not set the floor. 

- Article II of the Constitution vests the president with the inherent authority to “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed,” which has historically been understood to mean that the president can impound funds when doing so allows him to enforce the law more effectively and efficiently. 

- In defense of the president’s impoundment power against attacks from Congress, Joseph Sneed, Deputy Attorney General under President Richard Nixon, explained that the use of executive impoundment “to promote fiscal stability is not usurpation; rather it is in the great tradition of checks and balances upon which our Constitution is based.” 

- Restoring the Impoundment Power will naturally lead the Executive and Legislative Branches to have to work together to negotiate and gain better control of federal spending. 

- Although Congress has the power to appropriate funds, inherent within the president’s power to execute the law is a measure of discretion on how funds are spent, because spending decisions often depend on how laws are executed in practice. 

- The CBA placed crippling burdens on the use of impoundment authority and on the president’s negotiating leverage with Congress over how taxpayer dollars are spent, leaving Congress with virtually unchecked budget authority. 

 

EXECUTIVE BRANCH’S USE OF ITS CONSTITUTIONAL IMPOUNDMENT POWER DATES BACK TO THE EARLIEST DAYS OF THE REPUBLIC: 

- The Executive Branch Impoundment Power traces its roots to the Jefferson Administration and the earliest days of the American Republic. 

- In 1803, after France refused the U.S. access to the Port of New Orleans, Congress appropriated funding for 15 gunboats. President Jefferson refused to spend the money after determining that the purchase of the gunboats would jeopardize negotiations with the French. 

- In his third annual message to Congress explaining why he had not purchased the gunboats as authorized by Congress, President Jefferson declared that a “favorable and peaceable turn of affairs on the Mississippi rendered an immediate execution of that law unnecessary.” President Jefferson used his power as the Chief Executive to impound congressionally appropriated funds based on his foreign policy and national security judgment that the use of the funds would be unwise and unnecessary. 

- For 170 years, from President Jefferson to President Nixon, the chief executive routinely used the Impoundment Power to further national interests. 

- In the 19th century, presidents James Buchanan and Ulysses S. Grant used impoundment in the context of domestic policy to prevent the use of funds to build post offices in Illinois and construct river and harbor improvements. 

- Democratic administrations, such as those of Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, John F. Kennedy, and Lyndon B. Johnson, also exercised the Impoundment Power. 

- Today, the Impoundment Power is regularly used by 43 governors across the U.S.

 

PRESIDENT TRUMP’S RESTORATION OF THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH IMPOUNDMENT POWER WILL BE AN EFFECTIVE TOOL IN FIGHT AGAINST WASTEFUL SPENDING: 

- Since the CBA, wasteful overspending has exploded out of control. 

- Congress has run deficits in all but four years since 1974. 

- In 1974, the national debt was $475 Billion and 31 percent of the GDP. Today, it is $30.8 trillion and 123 percent of the GDP. 

- Since the CBA was enacted, the federal debt has never gone below its 1974 level. 

- Improper payments, payments made incorrectly by the federal government, cost the U.S. $247 billion in 2022. 

- The U.S. government has lost nearly $2.4 trillion in simple payment errors over the last two decades. 

- For 50 years, Congress has used the CBA to force the passage of gigantic, wasteful spending packages. 

- Since the CBA, Congress has adopted a budget resolution on time only 6 times, missing the deadline by an average of 40 days. 

- Congress has almost never met the CBA deadline for its 12 annual appropriations bills, often resorting to omnibus spending bills to rush appropriations through. 

 

TRANSCRIPT

Crooked Joe Biden, our disgraced president, has wasted trillions of taxpayer dollars in less than three years—causing uncontrolled inflation that is crushing working families. 

Reining-in Biden’s wasteful and unnecessary spending is vital to stopping inflation and rescuing our economy from ruin. But the pain of the spending cuts must be borne by the special interests and Washington bureaucrats, NOT by American families and American seniors in particular. 

For 200 years under our system of government, it was undisputed that the President had the Constitutional power to stop unnecessary spending through what is known as Impoundment. 

Very simply, this meant that if Congress provided more funding than was needed to run the government, the President could refuse to waste the extra funds, and instead return the money to the general treasury and maybe even lower your taxes, although we did give you the biggest tax reduction in history, and the biggest regulation reduction in history, two things I am very proud of.  And they still are there, although they are disappearing rapidly under Biden. 

Thomas Jefferson famously used this power, as did many other presidents until it was wrongfully curtailed by the Impoundment Control Act of 1974 – not a very good act. This disaster of a law is clearly unconstitutional—a blatant violation of the separation of powers. 

When I return to the White House, I will do everything I can to challenge the Impoundment Control Act in court, and if necessary, get Congress to overturn it.  We will overturn it. 

I will then use the president’s long-recognized Impoundment Power to squeeze the bloated federal bureaucracy for massive savings. This will be in the form of tax reductions for you. This will help quickly to stop inflation and slash the deficit. 

To prepare for this eventuality, on Day One, I will order every federal agency to begin identifying large chunks of their budgets that can be saved through efficiencies and waste reduction using Impoundment. 

Of course, this will not include national defense and, unlike Ron DeSanctimonious, who doesn’t really know what is happening, I will not lay a finger on Medicare or Social Security. He wants to destroy Social Security and basically obliterate Medicare.  These are benefits for our seniors.  We are not going to touch it. There are many other things we can do. We are not going to let Ron DeSanctus do anything to hurt Medicare or Social Security. 

On the contrary, some of the funds we save through Impoundment from other parts of the government can be used to strengthen Medicare and Social Security for years to come. 

Reasserting the president’s historic Impoundment authority will also restore critical negotiating leverage with Congress to keep spending under control. Very simple. We are going to keep spending under control. 

We had it done and then Covid came in and we had to do some things to help save our country. We did a great job. But we were starting to make lots of money. We were Energy Independent. We were going to be Energy Dominant. We were going to be taking in massive amounts of money from the liquid gold that we have under our feet.  More than any other nation.  And we were going to reduce taxes and pay off debt. 

This is the ONLY way we will ever return a balanced budget: Impoundment. 

Just as importantly, bringing back Impoundment will give us a crucial tool with which to obliterate the Deep State, Drain the Swamp, and starve the Warmongers –-- these people that want wars all over the place; killing, killing, killing, they love killing --- and the Globalists out of government. 

We are going to get the Warmongers and the Globalists out of our government. 

With Impoundment, we can simply choke off the money. 

This policy is anti-inflation, anti-Swamp, anti-globalist—and it’s pro-growth, pro-taxpayer, pro-American, and pro-freedom.

Mar-a-Lago, FL— Today, Ron DeSanctimonious bizarrely announced he does not support the three Trump-appointed Supreme Court justices, who overturned the Roe v. Wade decision. 

Ron’s latest flip-flop has left many wondering if he tripped in his high-heel boots and hit his head or is simply hallucinating from his disastrous event in Oklahoma last weekend, as he seems to have forgotten countless statements he made in the past praising President Trump’s nominations of Justice Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett. 

In 2017, Ron DeSantis lauded Justice Neil Gorsuch as a “promising choice,” “demonstrated a strong grasp of the Constitution,” and even compared Gorsuch to “that of Justice Scalia and Justice Clarence Thomas.” 

“If you created a nominee from scratch with the goal of filling Scalia's large shoes, such a nominee would look a lot like Neil Gorsuch,” DeSantis wrote in 2017.

Ron DeSantis has also openly supported Brett Kavanaugh. In a FOX Business interview, DeSantis said of Kavanaugh, “Look, this guy is a top-flight intellect. He’s got an impeccable pedigree… I think the President made a good choice.” 

After President Trump obliged Ron DeSantis’ tearful and desperate pleas for an endorsement in the 2018 Florida gubernatorial race, DeSantis rightfully credited President Trump for nominating strong, conservative justices to the U.S. Supreme Court. 

“I think that Donald Trump has done a better job appointing judges to both the U.S. Supreme Court and the appeals court, than any other president in my lifetime—including one of my heroes, Ronald Reagan,” DeSantis said.

In 2020, Ron DeSantis praised President Trump’s nomination of judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, calling Barrett “an outstanding choice” and “a terrific judge.”

As governor, Ron DeSantis has a history of terrible appointments. A DeSantis-appointed Florida Secretary of State lasted only 16 days in the job before resigning in scandal. 

In January 2023, DeSantis appointed Dave Kerner—a radical Democrat politician— to lead the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. President Trump will order the commission to then publish recommendations for how every American child can have a safe and healthy childhood.

In recent decades, there has been an unexplained and alarming growth in the prevalence of chronic illnesses and health problems, especially in children. We’ve seen a stunning rise in autism, auto-immune disorders, obesity, infertility, serious allergies, and respiratory challenges. 

It is time to ask: What is going on? 

Is it the food that they eat? The environment that we live in? The over-prescription of certain medications? Is it the toxins and chemicals that are present in our homes? 

Every year, we spend hundreds of billions of dollars to treat these chronic problems rather than looking at what is causing them in the first place. Too often, our public health establishment is too close to Big Pharma—they make a lot of money, Big Pharma—big corporations, and other special interests, and does not want to ask the tough questions about what is happening to our children’s health. If Big Pharma defrauds American patients and taxpayers or puts profits above people, they must be investigated and held accountable. 

When I am back in the White House, I will establish a special Presidential Commission of independent minds who are not bought and paid for by Big Pharma, and I will charge them with investigating what is causing the decades-long increase in chronic illnesses. I understand Big Pharma, I believe better than anyone else. I know where they’re coming from. And then, I will ask them to publish recommendations for how every American child can have a safe and healthy childhood. 

This is a conversation that is long overdue—and it’s a conversation that American families deserve. American families must have this conversation, and they must have a leader—a president—who can do something about this problem. And I will do that.

As a congressman, DeSantis voted to raise the eligibility age to 70 to receive full Social Security benefits—in 2013, in 2014, and in 2015. 

Before DeSantis was even elected to Congress, he said it was “necessary to make reforms” to Social Security. 

On DeSantis’ first day in Congress, he called “to restructure some of these entitlements,” such as Social Security. 

In Congress, DeSantis voted twice to cut Medicare benefits in 2015 and 2017. 

A disciple of Paul Ryan, DeSantis said in one interview, “I would embrace proposals like Paul Ryan offered, and other people have offered, that are going to provide some market forces in there, more consumer choice, and make it so that it’s not just basically a system that’s just going to be bankrupt when you have new people coming into it.”

Real median household income in South Carolina increased by $5,457 from 2017 to 2019 to the highest level on record. 

President Trump signed defense bills providing more than $444 million to South Carolina’s military bases, including Fort Jackson, Joint Base Charleston, and Parris Island. 

President Trump brought investment to underserved communities through opportunity zones, including 135 in South Carolina. 

Under President Trump, 25,000 manufacturing and construction jobs were added to South Carolina’s economy. 

The Trump Administration invested $37 million to help lower energy costs for South Carolina farmers, ag producers and rural-based businesses.

Last week, New Hampshire State Representative Sandra Panek flipped her endorsement from DeSantis to President Trump, saying "after being less than impressed with Ron DeSantis’s official announcement, I am hereby switching my endorsement to President Donald J. Trump. We can’t expect someone to run the country if they can’t properly run their own campaign launch. The stakes are simply too great in 2024 to take a chance on someone as unreliable as DeSantis — we need a proven winner like President Trump to take back the White House and Make America Great Again!”
