Road To 47 - December 31, 2024 December 31, 2024
December 31, 2024
Contact: Tommy Pigott and Eric Leyden, Team Trump
HAPPY NEW YEAR! – A new year marks a new beginning, and for our country, it signals that we are turning the page on the failed and disastrous Biden-Harris administration and embarking on the new American Golden Age!
President Trump hasn’t even taken office yet, and he is already fulfilling his promises thanks to the Trump Effect. A secure border, a prosperous economy, peace through strength – that’s what the American people want, and that’s what President Trump will deliver. He did it before, and he is already doing it again! Make America Great Again!
SECURING THE BORDER – In a massive legal victory, a federal judge has ordered the Biden administration to cease its attempt at selling off unused, unconstructed segments of the southern border wall just weeks before the inauguration of President Trump. This comes after President Trump filed an amicus brief in support of the effort to “immediately” stop Biden’s destructive policy.
Team Trump has the latest on what they’re saying.
- New York Post: Federal judge orders Biden administration to stop selling off border wall parts
- The Daily Mail: Biden faces major court defeat after trying to sell border wall materials before Trump takes over
- Fox News: Court orders Biden admin to stop selling border wall materials, was 'illegally subverting' laws: Texas AG
- The Hill: Texas blocks Biden from disposing of border wall materials before Trump takes office
- The Washington Times: Biden administration says it’s done selling off border wall materials – for now
- The Daily Wire: Texas Stops Biden From Continuing To Sell Border Wall Materials Before Trump Returns
- Just The News: Court orders Biden administration to stop selling border wall material
- Bloomberg: Biden Administration Must Produce Border Wall Spending Records
- KVUE-TV: Judge blocks sale of border wall materials
- KVIA-TV: Federal judge blocks Biden Administration from auctioning more border wall material
- KXAN-TV: Texas AG orders preservation of border wall materials for Trump
- WOAI Radio (San Antonio): Court Orders Biden Administration to Stop Selling Border Wall Materials
- NTD: Court Blocks Biden From Selling Off Portions of Southern Border Wall
This is a major victory for the American people. Biden refuses to secure the border. When he is inaugurated, President Trump will end this national nightmare and secure the border.
THE SPEAKER – In case you missed it, President Trump gave his complete and total endorsement to Mike Johnson for Speaker of the House.

PRESIDENT JIMMY CARTER – President Trump issued the following statements after hearing of the news of President Jimmy Carter’s passing.

“THE STRONG LEADER WE NEED” – Former Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue penned a recent op-ed on how “Brooke Rollins is the strong leader we need at the Department of Agriculture.”
From the op-ed:
- “Making a real, lasting impact on this country as a Cabinet secretary requires a diverse skillset, but one key attribute that any leader of the wide-ranging and multi-faceted U.S. Department of Agriculture will need is the ability to cut through the noise and reduce such burdens.”
- “Luckily for American farmers and ranchers, President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for secretary of agriculture, Brooke Rollins, knows exactly how to do that. She listens, she analyzes, she decides, and she acts.”
- “Her leadership experience speaks for itself. During her 15 years as president and CEO of the Texas Public Policy Foundation, she turned the small organization around from a run-of-the-mill producer of white papers into a massive, thriving policy machine that has since become the model for state policy think tanks nationwide.”
- “Rollins also served as director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, developing a rare level of proficiency at navigating the policy-making process. By developing and implementing policies under Trump in his first term, Rollins quickly familiarized herself with the relationship-building and maintenance that must take place in order to get key priorities across the finish line. And in her founding of the America First Policy Institute, Brooke built and led a team of 220 patriots comprised of nine former cabinet-level officials and over 50 former senior White House staff.”
- “Over the past four years, as president and CEO of AFPI, Rollins has worked tirelessly, advocating for policies that put the American people first. She understands the significance of being a voice for all Americans, of American productivity, and of American exceptionalism.”

“THE LEADER SMALL BUSINESSES NEED TO THRIVE” – A recent op-ed in Townhall discusses why Kelly Loeffler is just who Americans need at the Small Business Administration (SBA) to “thrive.”
Some highlights:
- “Small businesses are the backbone of America’s economy, embodying the ingenuity, grit, and entrepreneurial spirit that make our country so vibrant. As the founder of a company that empowers small businesses, I’ve been fortunate to have Kelly Loeffler serve on our Board of Directors. I have seen firsthand how her vision and leadership can unleash the potential of businesses. Kelly is uniquely positioned to revitalize the Small Business Administration (SBA) and ensure it fulfills its mission to empower small businesses to grow, innovate, and thrive.”
- “Kelly’s track record speaks for itself. With an impressive career spanning nearly three decades, she has demonstrated her ability to transform ideas into thriving enterprises. With humble beginnings, she worked on her family’s farm and small trucking business and helped put herself through school waiting tables in family-owned restaurants.”
- “Kelly’s drive to exponentially grow small companies into large ones and navigate complex regulatory, competitive, and economic challenges is precisely the kind of experience the SBA desperately needs. She understands what it takes to overcome challenges, secure funding, and create jobs – skills she’ll use to help small businesses across the nation reach their full potential. Her Senate experience, where she was the only CFA charter holder to ever serve in Congress, means she understands the realities of Washington, D.C., and their cost to small businesses.”
- “With Kelly at the helm, the SBA will no longer be a bureaucratic bottleneck. It will be a catalyst for growth, innovation, and prosperity. She will help write the next great chapter in America’s entrepreneurial story and make the American Main Street Strong Again.”

“A WIN FOR PARENTS” – Linda McMahon, President Trump’s pick to lead the Department of Education, is a win for parents.
A new op-ed explains:
-
“As the steward of a wildly successful multinational business, McMahon demonstrated that she has the acumen to identify a customer base and deliver a high-quality product.”
-
“At the heart of the president-elect's educational policy is respect for the fundamental right of parents to know what their children are being taught and support for their freedom to decide what type of educational environment is best for their students.”
-
“McMahon is a longtime champion of career and technical education – which, as the head of a multimillion-dollar international corporation, should also come as no surprise. Over the course of her career, she’s employed thousands of workers from ticket booths to the c-suite, driving home that not every position requires going into debt for a four-year degree – and that there are many fulfilling career paths to support a family with dignity.”
-
“President Trump promised to reinstitute the traditional understanding of Title IX to protect biological girls and women; here too, McMahon (who famously stepped into the ring herself!) is positioned to deliver on this vow – placing the incoming Trump administration squarely on the side of the majority of the population that wants athletes to compete on teams that correspond with their biological sex.”
-
“American parents have made their choice – Trump’s victory reflects their desire for change in the educational system. His policies – executed by Linda McMahon – will finally put students first, equipping them with the tools necessary to be well-functioning, flourishing individuals who are prepared to be the future leaders of this nation.”

BIDEN’S DISGRACE – For years, Team Trump, Republicans, and anyone paying attention pointed out that Joe Biden was unfit for office. To the disgrace of Joe Biden, his staff, and the fake news media, they covered up this national scandal.
Real reflection, answers, and accountability for all involved in the cover up are needed. Biden’s decline was not only a political scandal, but a continued threat to our national security. “Disgrace” to describe those involved is honestly too polite a word. |
|
TRUMP FORCE 47 – Team Trump had a historic and unprecedented voter registration and turnout program.
The more we learn, the clearer that becomes. Here’s an important thread with details:
In the words of James Blair, “We salute the Patriots who comprised our 40,000+ Trump Force 47 Captains, thousands of external canvassers, dozens of major donors, & independent groups who believed in the vision & carried it to success.”
- President Donald J. Trump

Lawmakers, Education Experts, Parent And Student Rights Groups Applaud Education Secretary Nominee Linda McMahon December 30, 2024
"Linda will use her decades of Leadership experience, and deep understanding of both Education and Business, to empower the next Generation of American Students and Workers, and make America Number One in Education in the World. We will send Education BACK TO THE STATES, and Linda will spearhead that effort." — President Donald J. Trump
Linda McMahon, President Donald J. Trump's pick to lead the Department of Education, is gaining strong momentum on Capitol Hill and throughout America. As a successful businesswoman, America First policy advocate, and former administrator of the Small Business Administration, Linda is poised to empower parents, students, and teachers while making education in America great once again.
Here's what they're saying:
Former Secretary of Education Bill Bennett: "Excellent choice. Hard-headed businesswomen. [The Department of Education] needs a tough, realistic-minded approach. The fact that she's not a darling of the education establishment and not even schooled in education theory, is an advantage. She'll come at it with fresh eyes, not thinking she knows everything."
Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL): "Linda McMahon is a home-run hire who will clean out the Deep State bureaucracy at the Department of Education and empower students and parents. Linda is a strong voice in the school choice movement, and she will get men OUT of women’s sports."
Governor Ned Lemont (D-CT): "I think she'd be a pretty good Secretary of Education. I look forward to working with her."
House Committee on Education and the Workforce Chair Virginia Foxx (R-NC): "Above all else, the Secretary of Education should be principled. She should be committed to the wellbeing and success of students, and clear-eyed about what is needed to empower them. Linda McMahon fits that bill to a T. She's a fighter who will work tirelessly in service of the students – not the so-called elite institutions, or the teachers unions or the federal bureaucracy."
Incoming Senate HELP Committee Chair Bill Cassidy (R-LA): "I agree with President Trump's statement that we need someone who is going to focus on parental choice in childrens' education. @Linda_McMahon's experience running the SBA can obviously help in running another agency. I look forward to meeting with her."
Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK): "As a member of @GOPHELP Committee, it was my honor to be the first to visit with @Linda_McMahon, President Trump's nominee to lead @usedgov. Linda will empower students, parents, and teachers, bring education back to the states, and help set our kids on the pathway for success."
Senator Rick Scott (R-FL): "A great friend and strong leader @Linda_McMahon! I know she will do an amazing job ensuring students across America receive the best-in-class education and work to remove woke policies from our classrooms!"
Senator Tim Scott (R-SC): "Education is the closest thing we have to magic in America. I’m looking forward to working with Linda McMahon to ensure every child has access to a high-quality education, regardless of race, background, or zip code."
Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS): "I had a great meeting today with @Linda_McMahon, our next Secretary of Education! We discussed the need to reform the @usedgov to prioritize parents' rights, our students' futures, and ensure we are taking federal bureaucrats out of education and putting it back into the hands of the states. I look forward to continuing to work with her."
Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA): "Linda McMahon is a patriot who served our country faithfully as the Small Business Administrator and is ready to lead the Department of Education. She’s committed to improving our students’ futures, maximizing school choice, and rooting out DEI and bureaucracy from our schools."
Senator-elect Jim Banks (R-IN): "Enjoyed meeting with @Linda_McMahon today. She will do a great job as our next Secretary for Education."
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY): "Great meeting with Linda McMahon, looking forward to voting for her nomination."
Incoming House Committee on Education and the Workforce Chair Tim Walberg (R-MI): "Linda McMahon has a proven record of delivering results. She was an excellent SBA Administrator, and I have no doubt she will make an excellent Secretary of Education."
Rep. Burgess Owens (R-UT): "President Trump's nomination of Linda McMahon as Secretary of Education is the bold leadership we need to fix a broken system. For too long, Washington bureaucrats have prioritized ideology over students, pushing DEI schemes over merit and indoctrination over results. That ends now."
Moms for America: "Congratulations to @Linda_McMahon on her appointment as Education Secretary! Moms for America is proud to see a strong, accomplished mother taking on this influential role for our children’s future."
American Principles Project Chair Terry Schilling: "My wife and I pulled our 7 children out of public schools because we saw the left's DEI GONE WILD firsthand. We can't wait for @Linda_McMahon to give power back to parents."
Moms for Liberty Co-Founder Tiffany Justice: "Linda McMahon's nomination is a testament to her dedication to serving the American people. It is incredible that parents will have an ally as the leader of @usedgov. With her nomination, we are one step closer to an educational system where parents are not only heard but are in the driver's seat."
Parents Defending Education President and Founder Nicki Neily: "In line with his platform supporting limited government intervention and a culture of personal liberty, President Trump's educational policies are pro-family, pro-student, and pro-parental choice — and @Linda_McMahon, long a trusted Trump ally, is perfectly positioned to deliver on these promises."
Optima Foundation CEO and Founder Erika Donalds: "Excited to help President Trump & Secretary Linda McMahon transform education! We're dismantling the DOE, empowering states, and putting PARENTS back in charge. America First education means prioritizing a free-market-based system that expands quality & access for all."
UNCF President and CEO Dr. Michael L. Lomax: "I had a productive discussion with Secretary-Designate McMahon. I appreciated the opportunity to discuss issues of importance to HBCUs, HBCU students, the nation’s underserved students and how to improve the avenues of learning for all students. I found her straightforward, a good listener and engaged on pertinent issues. When she is confirmed, I believe we at UNCF can look forward to a strategic and meaningful partnership."
AEI Director of Education Frederick M. Hess: "Given what the US Department of Education *actually* does and the shape that it’s in, one could plausibly argue that Linda McMahon’s background makes her one of the BEST-equipped nominees in its 45-year history."
Educational Freedom Institute Executive Director Corey DeAngelis: "...President Donald Trump plans to name Linda McMahon as the last Secretary of Education. She supports education freedom. Congratulations, @Linda_McMahon!"
Writer, Filmmaker, and Political Activist Chris Rufo: "Congratulations to our next Secretary of Education, @Linda_McMahon. We're ready to help you shut down the Department of Education and return authority and funding to states, cities, and families. It's going to be a fight—but we will win."
Oklahoma State Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walters: "Congratulations @Linda_McMahon! It's time to get to work dismantling the US Department of Education. Fantastic addition to @realDonaldTrump team!"
North Dakota State Superintendent of Public Instruction Kirsten Baesler: "Together, President Donald Trump and Linda McMahon can ensure America’s students are prepared to build a stronger, more dynamic economy that respects the aspirations of all its citizens."
American Federation for Children CEO Tommy Schultz: "Trump's education pick Linda McMahon has a national school-choice mandate"
Classic Learning Test CEO and Founder Jeremy Wayne Tate: "Linda McMahon can make education great again with classic schools"
1776 Project Foundation President Aiden Buzzetti: "Linda McMahon Is The Right Choice For Secretary Of Education"
Knox County (TN) Mayor and WWE Hall of Famer Glenn Jacobs: "Congrats to @Linda_McMahon, our new Secretary of Education! Honored to call you a friend and can't wait to see all you accomplish with @realDonaldTrump over the next four years."
College Football Hall of Fame Coach Lou Holtz: "President Trump has picked incredible leaders for his cabinet, but I'm especially excited about my friend @Linda_McMahon as Education Secretary! Linda is a fearless America First champion who will put every school-aged child first. Our future is in great hands!"

ICYMI: ‘Woman Whose Daughter Was Raped, Murdered Rips Biden For Commuting Killer’s Death Sentence’ December 28, 2024
The Daily Wire: A Michigan woman whose 19-year-old daughter was raped, then kidnapped and murdered by the rapist after the girl warned that he would do so to prevent her from testifying against him, excoriated President Biden for commuting the murderer’s death sentence.
In 1997, Rachel Timmerman warned police and prosecutors that Marvin Gabrion would kill her; her mother and other members of her community also warned of the danger. But before justice could intervene, Gabrion kidnapped the 19-year-old girl and murdered her. Her body was discovered in the Manistee National Forest with her mouth and eyes taped, and chains padlocked around her body. In addition, Rachel’s 11-month-old daughter, Shannon, was never found. Gabrion received a death sentence in 2002 and consistently appealed the decision for 22 years.
When she heard that Biden was commuting Gabrion’s death sentence, Timmerman’s mother, Velda Robinson, told The Detroit News, “Those that don’t believe in the death penalty I believe, honestly, that they have never been traumatized by somebody so vile, that they couldn’t comprehend where I’m coming from. They really shouldn’t judge me for wanting it.”
“People need to know that when you do something so heinous, you ain’t going to get away with it,” she continued. “How does Biden justify whose crime is worse than the others? (The jury) made this decision and he just slapped the whole judicial system down.”

Road To 47 - December 27, 2024 December 27, 2024
December 27, 2024
Contact: Tommy Pigott and Eric Leyden, Team Trump
“I WAS ANGRY. I'M STILL ANGRY” – Joe Biden left families hurting with his disgusting commutations of brutal killers before Christmas. Team Trump has the response from the families of the victims.
One of the brutal criminals that Joe Biden took off death row is Brandon Council. Council was convicted of a 2017 double murder of two bank tellers – Donna Major and Katie Skeen.
On Christmas Eve, Donna Major's daughter Heather Turner spoke with Fox News and said, “I was angry. I'm still angry. I am upset that this is even happening, that one man can make this decision without even talking to the victims, without any regard for what we've been through, what we're going through, and completely hurt, frustrated and angry.”
Another man that Biden took off death row is Jorge Avila-Torrez. Avila-Torrez strangled Amanda Snell, a 20-year-old sailor to death in her barracks.
Snell's brother, Alex Snell, told the New York Post: “What justification does [Biden] have for doing this? I want to have him explain to us, to our faces, why he chose to give them mercy when they didn’t give other people mercy.”
Alex Snell also said, “I’d rather see it go back to the way it was, where he was sentenced to death.”
Biden also commuted Daryl Lawrence who murdered Columbus, Ohio police officer Bryan Hurst. Hurst's widow, Marissa Gibson, told the Columbus Dispatch, “While this is truly distressing news on a personal level for my family, it also feels like a complete dismissal and undermining of the federal justice system. Lawrence's sentence was imposed by a jury, and it should be upheld as such.”
Marvin Gabrion is another brutal killer that Joe Biden took off death row. Gabrion was convicted of killing Rachel Timmerman, a 19-year-old woman by “throwing her into a lake weighted down and alive – to keep her from testifying against him in a rape trial.”
Rachel's father, Tim, said in an interview, “I offered to speak with you today because I’m the family of a victim, and I think President Biden offered a Christmas gift to the perpetrators of murder, but he offered only pain to the victims, the families of the victims.”
Tim Timmerman said he thinks the timing of the commutation was “despicable.”
Joe Biden takes the side of convicted killers. President Trump says to convicted killers, “GO TO HELL.” Click here for more information.

“HORRIBLY MISGUIDED AND INSULTING” – Joe Biden is receiving criticism for commuting the sentences of convicted killers from across the political spectrum.
ABC News 13 (Huntington, West Virginia) has the details:
- “Sen. Joe Manchin (I-WV) called President Biden’s decision to commute the death sentences for the two men convicted of Samantha Burns’ murder ‘horribly misguided and insulting.’”
- “Two of those people are Brandon Basham and Chadrick Fulks. They are both serving time in connection to the kidnapping and killing of Marshall University student Samantha Burns. Burns, who was 19 at the time, was last seen on Nov. 11, 2002, at the Huntington Mall in Barboursville. Her remains were never found.”
- “President-elect Donald Trump has been very vocal about his dislike of Biden’s clemencies. The Hill reported that Trump said, ‘As soon as I am inaugurated, I will direct the Justice Department to vigorously pursue the death penalty to protect American families and children from violent rapists, murderers, and monsters.’”

CHINA'S “PANAMA MODEL” – Instead of condemning China, Democrats suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome are opposing his efforts to confront Chinese incursions in the Panama Canal – which is vital to U.S. economic and national security.
Concerns over the Panama Canal are not new, but unlike Joe Biden, President Trump has the courage to put America First. Take this op-ed from Rep. Mike Gallagher in 2023 when he was Chairman of the Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party:
- “In 2023, a visitor to the Panama Canal might think they were in China. Ports at both ends of the Canal are managed by companies from the People's Republic of China (PRC), while Huawei dominates the country's telecoms system.”
- “Latin America is central to the CCP's global campaign to monopolize strategic natural resources. Lithium, for example, is critical for the manufacture of batteries, and China is the world’s largest battery producer. CATL, a CCP-aligned company, recently secured extensive rights to develop Bolivia's currently untapped lithium resources. China, Chile, and Argentina already combine for 95 percent of global lithium production outside of Australia; in the event of a conflict that interdicted trade, the CCP could enjoy a global monopoly over this critical resource.”
- PRC-linked companies have secured control of more than 40 ports across the region. Twenty additional Latin American nations have followed Panama into the PRC's Belt and Road Initiative.”
- “With the single-minded focus of a military campaign, the CCP directly coordinates ostensibly ‘private’ companies and PRC officials in pursuit of the party's agenda. Unlike normal multinational companies which seek profits, financial returns are only a secondary concern for the CCP. The real prize is control – not only control of strategic points such as the Panama Canal and ports but of natural resources, telecommunications, and ultimately governments.”
Joe Biden was one of the worst foreign policy presidents in American history. The world will respect America again with President Trump in office. Peace through strength! Read the full op-ed here. |

MERRY CHRISTMAS – We’re still in the Christmas spirit! Unlike Kamala Harris, who says, “how dare we speak Merry Christmas,” under President Trump, “Merry Christmas” is back! Watch the video here.

ANOTHER DEMOCRAT TURNED REPUBLICAN – State Representative Hillary Cassel is the latest Democrat official to switch to the Republican Party, joining millions of other Americans as President Trump built an unprecedented coalition, expanding his support across the country.

ICYMI: Manchin calls Biden commuting death sentences for Burns’ convicted killers ‘insulting’ December 27, 2024
CBS 13: Sen. Joe Manchin (I-WV) called President Biden’s decision to commute the death sentences for the two men convicted of Samantha Burns’ murder “horribly misguided and insulting.”
Biden announced on Monday that he was changing the sentences for 37 out of the 40 people on federal death row from the death penalty to life in prison.
Two of those people are Brandon Basham and Chadrick Fulks. They are both serving time in connection to the kidnapping and killing of Marshall University student Samantha Burns.
Burns, who was 19 at the time, was last seen on Nov. 11, 2002, at the Huntington Mall in Barboursville. Her remains were never found.
Sen. Manchin said on Thursday that her family, “wrote letters to President Biden and the Department of Justice, pleading for them not to do this but their concerns were unheard.”
“As their U.S. Senator and a father, I want to express my deepest sympathy for their continued suffering,” Sen. Manchin said in a post on Facebook. “Please know that Samantha will forever be in our prayers.”

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HANUKKAH! – Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all those who celebrate in America and around the world!
We give thanks to God and look forward to the New Year!
THE AMERICAN GOLDEN AGE – Over the weekend, President Donald J. Trump delivered remarks at Turning Point USA's AmericaFest 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona – where he previewed the sweeping changes coming in less than one month.
If you missed it, Team Trump has the highlights:
- President Trump highlighted the mandate he earned with a “NEW AMERICAN MAJORITY” that will define the future for generations to come.
- President Trump proclaimed the GOLDEN AGE OF AMERICA will soon be a reality.
- President Trump highlighted the remarkable gains he earned in his sweeping electoral victory – winning larger shares of African Americans, Hispanic Americans, and young voters than any Republican in modern history.
- President Trump noted the “TRUMP EFFECT” – in which markets and cryptocurrencies have seen explosive gains following his election in November.
- President Trump reaffirmed his pledge to take back the Panama Canal if his conditions go unmet.
- President Trump assured Americans his DAY ONE promises will be implemented immediately.
- President Trump outlined the simple mantra of his forthcoming administration: “WOKE” has to STOP.
- President Trump invited Angel Mom Patty Morin – whose daughter, Rachel, was killed by a Biden illegal – on stage.
The best is yet to come – and it starts on January 20, 2025.
TRUMP TAX CUTS TURN SEVEN – This past week marked the 7th anniversary of the Trump Tax Cuts.
President Trump’s tax cuts lowered taxes for every income bracket, with an average tax cut of $1,260 in 2018. About 90% of Americans saw their take-home pay INCREASE in 2018, and Americans’ real median income grew by $5,000 in both 2018 and 2019.
When he is back in office, President Trump will bring economic relief by making his middle-class tax cuts permanent and will cut taxes even more by eliminating taxes on tips, seniors' Social Security benefits, and overtime. President Trump's plan also calls for expanded R&D tax credits, 100% bonus depreciation, expensing for new manufacturing investments, and lowering the business tax rate from 21% to 15% – but only if you make your product in the USA.
Make America Wealthy Again!
“THE UNITED STATES CANAL” – President Trump issued the following statement on the Panama Canal, which is critical to the national and economic security of the United States.

“PETE HEGSETH IS EXACTLY WHAT THE UNITED STATES MILITARY NEEDS” – Tiffany Smiley recently penned an op-ed in support of Pete Hegseth for Defense Secretary.
Some highlights:
- “As a veteran who served in the Minnesota National Guard in Afghanistan, Iraq, and at Guantanamo Bay, as well as the CEO of Concerned Veterans for America, Pete has worked to bring our military back to its former glory as the greatest fighting force in history. Pete has fought for our country; he’s fought for our armed service members and he’s a strong advocate for our country.”
- “My own service and dedication to our veterans began in April 2005, when my husband Scotty was left blind by a suicide bomber in Iraq. I booked a one-way flight to Walter Reed Medical Center to care for him and began a life-long commitment to help America’s heroes: our nation’s veterans. I know that the most important trait in a Secretary of Defense is one’s unwavering support for our military and veterans, which is something I saw firsthand when Scotty was injured in combat.”
- “As is his character, Pete was a friend and ally who helped me advance my fight for our veterans even when it wasn’t flashy, cool, or drove television ratings; he did it because it was the right thing to do. He’ll do the same thing as our next Secretary of Defense.”
- “Today, America’s military is at a fundamental crossroads. Where once there was strength, respect, and honor, we now face the rise of woke ideologies that weaken our military’s identity and capability. Gender and race ideologies have been prioritized in training and recruitment instead of honor, valor and warfighting. As a result, our military is now facing recruitment shortages and a loss of respect on the world stage. Pete made it his mission to restore America’s military by returning to the foundational principles of valor, freedom, and selfless service.”
- “Now more than ever, Washington is in desperate need of leaders like Pete to get our country back on track…Pete Hegseth is exactly what the United States military needs to put America’s defense back on top, and I look forward to seeing him fight for our military as Secretary of Defense.”

“NOEM BOASTS OUTPOURING OF POLICE, BORDER UNION SUPPORT” – Law enforcement groups across the country are supporting Kristi Noem for DHS Secretary.
Fox News has the details:
- “Law enforcement organizations and unions nationwide are throwing their support behind Republican South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem as Department of Homeland Security chief, citing her as the ‘best leader to restore justice’ and tackle immigration woes left over from the Biden administration.”
- “Law enforcement groups that have endorsed Noem include: the National Fraternal Order of Police, the largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers in the U.S.; the National Association of Police Organizations; the International Union of Police Associations; the Toledo Police Patrolman’s Association; International Union of Police Associations Local 6020; the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association; the Police Officers Association of Michigan; and the National Border Patrol Council.”
- “The Police Officers Association of Michigan – the Great Lakes State’s largest law enforcement group – endorsed Noem in a letter to Paul this month, lamenting that, under the Biden administration, police have faced a more difficult job as illegal immigration moved north and rocked the state.”
- “The National Border Patrol Council, a union representing about 18,000 Border Patrol agents, called on Paul and his Senate colleagues to ‘quickly’ consider Noem’s confirmation.”
- “Fraternal Order of Police President Patrick Yoes wrote in his letter to Paul that his organization also looks ‘forward to working with [Noem] to secure our border.’”

DEMOCRATS STILL PANICKING – A new report by Politico shows that “Democrats conducting post-mortems on their sweeping losses in 2024 are finding more reason for alarm.”
As detailed by the article, recent focus groups of voters have not been pleasant for Democrats – even among voters who previously backed them. Here are some of the ways voters describe Democrats:
- “They’ve got their heads in the sand and are absolutely committed to their own ideas, even when they’re failing.”
- “Not a friend of the working class anymore.”
- “I think what the Democratic elites and their politicians believe is often very different from what the average Democratic voter is…The elites that run the Democratic Party – I think they’re way too obsessed with appealing to these very far-left social progressivism that’s very popular on college campuses.”
- “Inauthentic.”
- “Very dishonest.”
Americans handed President Trump a historic mandate, with gains made across the country and across demographic groups. In the words of President Trump, “in the Election of 2024, our MOVEMENT not only won a MANDATE – WE built a New American Majority that will define our Country’s future for generations to come!”

ICYMI: Sheriff blasts commuting of killers of family December 23, 2024
CBS12: “Where is the justice for the Escobedo family that was murdered in cold blood?”
That was the question Sheriff Keith Pearson asked after learning outgoing President Joe Biden commuted the sentences of two men who killed a family of four on the Turnpike in St. Lucie County.
“Waking up to news that Joe Biden commuted the death sentence for Ricardo Sanchez (Jr.) and Daniel Troya, minimizing it to a life sentence, is disheartening,” the St. Lucie County sheriff continued.
With less than a month to go in his term, President Biden revealed Monday that he commuted the sentences against Sanchez, Troya, and 35 other federal inmates who were condemned to die. His reprieves spared all but three people who were on the U.S. government’s death row.
Pearson argued the Biden Administration’s “woke ideology” led to its decision to issue the commutations, adding, “these two earned their right to die for the heinous crimes they committed.”
Sanchez and Troya’s convictions came after the 2006 killing of Jose Luis Escobedo, Luis Damian Escobedo, Luis Julian Escobedo, and Yessica Guerro Escobedo on the Turnpike. The pair were accused of stopping the Jeep Cherokee and shooting the mother, father, and two children and leaving them there.

Road To 47 - December 20, 2024 December 20, 2024
December 20, 2024
Contact: Tommy Pigott and Eric Leyden, Team Trump
“FT PERSON OF THE YEAR: DONALD TRUMP” – The Financial Times named President Donald J. Trump their “Person of the Year” this week.
It was another recognition of the historic nature of President Trump’s election, and the massive mandate he was handed by the American people.
Securing the border, unleashing the economy, putting America First – those are among the key tenants that President Trump campaigned and won on. In fact, he is already delivering on those promises before he even takes office. 2024 was the most important election in American history. Make America Great Again!
SECURING THE BORDER – President Trump isn’t even in office yet, and he is already securing the border. Team Trump rapid response has the latest analysis.
Last month, President Trump – fresh off his decisive electoral victory – delivered an ultimatum to our northern and southern neighbors: secure your borders or face a 25% tariff on all products coming into the United States.
It didn't take long for Canada to heed President Trump's warning. Facing an uproar among his own citizens, embattled Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced a billion-dollar plan for major border security improvements and increased border patrols in an effort to stem the flow of illegal immigration, human trafficking, and deadly drugs into the United States.
Mexico has been put on notice, too. Mere days after President Trump made the promise, Mexican authorities announced its largest-ever fentanyl bust in a cartel-dominated region of the country – deadly drugs that likely would've ended up in American communities.
As President Trump secures the border, Joe Biden is continuing to actively undermine border security by selling off border wall building materials for cents on the dollar. Not only is President Trump calling out this outrageous policy, he filed an amicus brief in support of a legal effort to immediately stop him.
After four years of a Biden-induced crisis, in which criminals, terrorists, and deadly drugs have poured across the borders in record numbers, President Trump is making good on his mandate for sweeping change.
Promises made, promises kept – and the border is far from the only example. In just six weeks, President Trump has made major progress in advancing international peace, propelling economic growth, dismantling divisive social programming, and bolstering American investment.

DEMOCRATS’ SHUTDOWN – Yesterday, nearly every single House Democrat voted against government funding and to shut down the government.
As Vice President-elect JD Vance said, Democrats “asked for a shutdown and I think that’s exactly what they’re going to get.”
And while President Trump and Republicans are working to keep the government open, Joe Biden is completely MIA. Biden is supposed to be president of the United States, but par for the course, he can’t be bothered to actually solve problems.
As Biden watches on, 197 Democrats voted against keeping the government open, disaster relief, and aid for farmers, prioritizing thousands of pages of pork spending instead.
Republicans are still working to solve the problem, but if there is a shutdown, the blame is Joe Biden’s and the Democrats’ to bear.
CONFIRM PETE HEGSETH – Veterans who served with Pete Hegseth are solidly standing behind him and applauding his service to our country.
- Sgt. Maj. Eric Geressy, who served with Hegseth in Iraq: “I served alongside Pete Hegseth in Iraq, where I witnessed his leadership, courage, and steadfast love for our country firsthand. In a time when the stakes were high and courage meant everything, Pete stepped up – not for personal recognition, but for love of this country and his fellow soldiers…I’ve stood beside Pete Hegseth on the battlefield, and I can say without hesitation that there is no one better suited to lead our nation’s security. America deserves a leader who understands the price of freedom and is willing to do whatever it takes to protect it. Pete Hegseth is that leader.”
- Army Col. Chip Rankin, who served with Hegseth in Afghanistan: “He was going through a vehicle that got blown up, and there were dead people, people that were fighting through our lives. And Pete went right into that situation, and performed admirably in a very, very challenging situation… He could have been killed, and he never hesitated.”
- Derek McCall, who served with Hegseth in Guantanamo Bay: “The Department of Defense needs more than just a qualified candidate to be secretary – it needs a proven leader. It requires a candidate who not only understands military strategy and operations, but also possesses true character, loyalty, and vision to inspire the men and women who dutifully serve our country. Pete Hegseth is exactly the man for the job.”
Pete Hegseth is the Defense Secretary America needs and deserves to help Make America Strong Again!
BORDER PATROL FOR TULSI GABBARD – As reported by the Daily Wire, the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) endorsed Tulsi Gabbard to be the next Director of National Intelligence (DNI) this week.
In explaining their endorsement, NBPC President Paul Perez wrote:
- “The U.S. Intelligence Community (IC), led by the DNI, plays an integral role in our border security by monitoring the potential for these threats to enter our country. From transnational criminal organizations operating in North, Central, and South America to foreign terrorist organizations and hostile state actors, these entities and individuals will always attempt to exploit our unsecure borders to further their activities that threaten the American people. In order to adequately confront these threats, the IC must have strong, courageous and competent leadership – that leader is Lt. Col. Gabbard.”

“SHE’S UP FOR THE CHALLENGE” – A new op-ed in Newsweek outlines the argument on why Linda McMahon is the right person to be the next Secretary of Education.
From the op-ed:
- “The Biden-Harris administration has weaponized every single area of the federal government over the past four years…It’s going to be a full-time job just undoing the damage that the Democrats have wrought in each and every federal department and agency. When it comes to the Department of Education, however, President Trump can be confident that he’s already found the right woman for the job.”
- “Last month, President Trump announced that he was choosing Linda McMahon to become his next Secretary of Education. McMahon has decades of experience as a business executive and conservative fighter. She has education experience, having spent two years on Connecticut’s state Board of Education and 16 years as a member of the Board of Trustees for Sacred Heart University.”
- “She also has government experience – she was head of the Small Business Administration during Trump’s previous term. And she has policy chops, serving as chair of the board at the America First Policy Institute and as co-chair of the Trump-Vance transition team.”
- “All that experience will serve her well at the Department of Education, which has gone off the rails under the Democrats' rule and is badly in need of a complete overhaul. The Biden-Harris administration has used the Department of Education not to educate America’s children – who are steadily falling behind – but instead to push their radical cultural agenda on America’s kids and to punish anyone who dares stand in their way.”
- “Just undoing all the damage the Biden-Harris administration has caused will be a huge task. But doing all that while fulfilling Trump’s campaign promises to end school gender insanity and revitalize American education is an absolutely enormous undertaking. Linda McMahon’s experience shows that she’s up for the challenge.”

“A NEW ERA OF LEADERSHIP AND REFORM” – In a recent op-ed, Rep. Byron Donalds laid out his case for Scott Turner for HUD Secretary.
Some highlights:
- “At a time when housing affordability and economic mobility are at the forefront of national conversations, the need for effective, accountable leadership at the Department of Housing and Urban Development has never been more urgent. To address these challenges, we need a HUD secretary who not only understands the complexities of housing policy but also is committed to implementing bold reforms that prioritize American families and communities. That’s why I am proud to endorse Scott Turner for HUD secretary. His experience, vision, and conservative principles make him the ideal leader to address the critical issues facing our housing crisis today.”
- “One of Scott Turner’s primary goals will be ensuring that HUD is led by professionals who align with President Donald J. Trump’s priorities. For too long, HUD has struggled with bureaucratic inefficiency. Turner will take decisive action to place motivated, politically aligned leaders in key positions, transforming career roles into non-career positions where appropriate. This shift will steer the department toward meaningful change that serves the needs of the American people.”
- “As China’s influence in U.S. housing markets continues to grow unchecked, Turner will prioritize addressing foreign investment in U.S. real estate, particularly from hostile actors. He will actively monitor and respond to foreign acquisitions to safeguard American homeowners and our economy from exploitation. Swift action is vital to protect our national interests.”
- “Another critical area of reform involves reversing the harmful policies of the Biden-Harris administration, which prioritized ideological goals over effective housing solutions. Under Scott Turner, HUD will focus on fairness, transparency, and opportunity for all Americans – without pursuing political objectives. Turner will ensure that taxpayer-funded housing programs prioritize American citizens and legal residents – not illegals – ensuring assistance reaches those who truly need it.”
- “Scott Turner’s leadership at HUD has the potential to be truly transformative. His commitment to restoring accountability, reforming housing policies, and prioritizing the needs of American citizens is exactly what we need to bring about real change. As a member of Congress, I fully support his nomination and look forward to working with him to implement reforms that will make HUD more efficient, fair, and effective. The failed public housing and homelessness policies of the past will end with Scott Turner at the helm.”

“FROM PUBLIC DEFENDER TO PUBLIC SERVANT” – If Democrats were honest, they would be supporting Kash Patel for FBI Director.
A new op-ed explains:
- “Kash Patel’s nomination to serve as the next FBI director is historic for many reasons. He’ll be the first Indian-American and the first public defender to serve as FBI director, respectively. It’s that last feat that is most important to me considering I worked with Kash at the Federal Public Defender’s office in Miami from 2009 to 2014.”
- “Kash’s work experience has given him a unique approach to lead the FBI. He’s worked years and years for people who can’t afford their own attorney – the only explanation for someone to take that career path is because they believe in the justice system in the way Kash does. He understands that aside from serving in the military the best way to keep people free is to keep the justice system impartial and keep government abuse in check.”
- “I’m nearing the forty-year mark as an attorney, and I can’t find a name I’d recommend above Kash for the job.”
- “President Donald Trump barnstormed the country and promised again and again he’d restore the trust of the American people by taking politics out of the FBI and ending the weaponization of the federal government. Kash will be the first public defender to claim the head desk at the FBI, root out the weeds that have taken over one of the most historic and necessary institutions of our federal government, and restore the FBI’s focus on deterring criminals from committing crimes and getting to the bottom of it when they do.”

MAKE AMERICA WEALTHY AGAIN – Kelly Loeffler, President Trump’s pick to lead the Small Business Administration, has been on the Hill this week meeting with senators.
Fox News had the details – including on her strong resume to help Make America Wealthy Again:
- “Loeffler, who hails from a family of small business owners and entrepreneurs, was raised working on the family farm in Illinois. After becoming the first in her family to graduate college, she spent nearly three decades working her way up in the private sector.”
- “Along with her husband Jeff, Loeffler built a Fortune 500 financial services and technology company from 100 employees to 15,000.”
- “Loeffler later launched another company, named Bakkt, as its founding CEO and first employee. She was also a part owner of the WNBA's Atlanta Dream.”
- “And Ernst, in a statement, said that ‘as a successful business owner, Kelly knows what it takes to innovate and create jobs that support American families, and I am confident that she will fight to get Washington bureaucrats off the backs of our nation's small businesses.’”

HURRICANE HELENE RELIEF – When Hurricane Helene struck, Joe Biden was nowhere to be found as Americans suffered under the devastation. While Biden refused to show up, President Trump did, visiting disaster areas and delivering much needed relief. That included launching a historic GoFundMe campaign.
This week, GoFundMe reported that President Trump’s campaign was the largest GoFundMe fundraising campaign in 2024.
There is more work to do. All Americans – including the people of North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida – can be sure that President Trump will always be there for them.

Lawmakers, Veterans Groups Praise VA Secretary Nominee Doug Collins December 19, 2024
"We must take care of our brave men and women in uniform, and Doug will be a great advocate for our Active Duty Servicemembers, Veterans, and Military Families to ensure they have the support they need." — President Donald J. Trump
Former Rep. Doug Collins is receiving high praise from lawmakers and veterans advocacy groups alike as President Donald J. Trump's nominee for Secretary of Veterans Affairs. That's because Collins — an Air Force Reserve colonel and Iraq War veteran with more than 20 years of military experience — understands the complex issues facing veterans across the country.
If confirmed, Collins would be the first military chaplain to lead the VA — and as a longtime congressman and attorney, he has the policy expertise to solve complex problems, cut through red tape, and get things done for those who have worn the uniform.
Here's what they're saying on Capitol Hill and beyond:
The Independence Fund: "The Independence Fund looks forward to working with President Trump's Nominee for SECVA, former Rep. Doug Collins."
AMVETS: "After hearing from Representative Collins and the transition team senior staff, it is clear to AMVETS that he has a firm understanding of how important the VA and its polices are to veterans and their families."
Incoming Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee Chair Jerry Moran (R-KS): "Rep. Collins' time in Congress has provided him with a strong understanding of the policies that impact veterans."
House Committee on Veterans' Affairs Chair Mike Bost (R-IL): "Thrilled my good friend, former Georgia congressman @RepDougCollins has been selected by President Trump to serve as VA Secretary. Can't wait to work together to serve the needs of America’s veterans!"
Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC): "When it comes to our veterans, Doug is one of the smartest, sincerest, hardworking and dedicated members of Congress with whom I’ve worked. He is an outstanding choice to be our next VA Secretary, and he will put his heart and soul into the job. I hope my Democratic colleagues will support this exceptional, well-qualified and decent man."
Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS): "Caring for our nation’s military heroes after their service is essential. As a veteran, my friend and former colleague, Doug Collins is the right person to lead the VA, and deeply understands its important mission. I'm confident he will execute President Trump’s vision of providing veterans and their families with the support they deserve. Doug has my full support to lead the VA."
Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA): "Doug Collins is a veteran, a strong leader, and was an excellent member of Congress. He is an excellent choice to shake up an agency that underperforms. We served together in the House, and based on that, I have developed a great deal of respect for him. I will work to move his confirmation forward in the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee @SVACGOP."
Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN): "As a veteran himself, Doug will ensure that our nation's heroes and their families have the support they deserve."
Senator Mike Lee (R-UT): "As a congressman, veteran, and military chaplain, @RepDougCollins is a perfect choice to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs and ensure that the men and women who have defended America get the care, support, and gratitude they deserve. I look forward to confirming him!"
Senator Dan Sullivan (R-AK): "An Air Force Reserve Colonel himself, I have full confidence that Rep. Collins is up to the job and will work hard to provide our veterans the care they have rightly earned."
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX): "Rep. Collins served in the Navy, still serves in the Air Force Reserve, and deployed to Iraq. Doug is a strong pick to help reform the VA and will work hard to ensure our nation's veterans receive the very best care."
Senator Rick Scott (R-FL): "It was great to have Doug Collins, President Trump's nominee for Secretary of Veterans Affairs, stop by and discuss his ideas to better serve our veterans. President Trump is building a great team, and I'm confident Doug will do a wonderful job leading the VA."
Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL): "@RepDougCollins is a proven leader and veteran who has constantly advocated for our service members throughout his career."
Senator Katie Britt (R-AL): "Our veterans deserve nothing less than the best—@realDonaldTrump, @RepDougCollins & I agree, & we're ready to deliver results. Doug understands our military community’s needs from his service as an Air Force Reserve Colonel & chaplain."
Senator Mike Rounds (R-SD): "Ready to get Doug confirmed so we can begin making the VA work for veterans again."
Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS): "Having a leader with firsthand experience is key to driving meaningful improvements for those who've given so much. His perspective should serve him well in this role."
Senator Roger Wicker (R-MS): "Representative Collins knows first-hand how important the VA's work can be and is the right person to get them back on track."
Senator John Barrasso (R-WY): "As a veteran, @RepDougCollins understands the needs of our veterans and their families. Rep. Collins and @realDonaldTrump are committed to working together to fix the VA and ensure our veterans get the care and support they need."
Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV): "Doug's passion and deep understanding of the issues facing veterans comes from his experience as a veteran himself and his background as a military chaplain, former congressman, and attorney."
Senator John Hoeven (R-ND): "As an Air Force Colonel and chaplain, @RepDougCollins understands what it means to serve."
Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC): "[Collins] has a dedicated record of service and an eagerness to reform the VA. I look forward to working with him on behalf of North Carolina’s more than 700,000 veterans."
Senator Deb Fischer (R-NE): "Enjoyed meeting with @RepDougCollins, President Trump's nominee for Secretary of Veterans Affairs. We discussed how the Trump administration can provide the support Nebraska's veterans deserve."
Senator Todd Young (R-IN): "Doug will do great work for America’s heroes as our next VA Secretary."
Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND): "@RepDougCollins is a good friend and strong advocate for veterans because he is one! I appreciate his focus with taking on the bureaucracy and getting real results for our veterans."
Senator John Boozman (R-AR): "[Collins] understands firsthand the importance of supporting the men and women who have served our nation, and their families, as an eager partner with @SVACGOP."
Senator Jim Risch (R-ID): "Ensuring our nation's veterans receive their hard-earned benefits is a top priority @RepDougCollins and I share. I spoke to Doug about the roadblocks the Biden administration has put up halting all progress on rebuilding Idaho’s veterans homes. I’m confident he will break down the bureaucracy and strengthen the VA."
Senator Cynthia Lummis (R-WY): "I had a great meeting with my friend and former colleague, Doug Collins! Agency mismanagement & lack of veteran resources have crippled Wyoming veterans, and I look forward to working with @RepDougCollins to ensure efficient & responsible care for all veterans in the Cowboy State"

President Trump Is Securing The Border And He Hasn’t Even Taken Office Yet December 18, 2024
(Another) common Trump W
It's no longer business as usual. As President Donald J. Trump prepares to be inaugurated in just 33 days, that message is being heard loud and clear across the globe.
And it's working.
Last month, President Trump — fresh off his decisive electoral victory — delivered an ultimatum to our northern and southern neighbors: secure your borders or face a 25% tariff on all products coming into the United States.
It didn't take long for Canada to heed President Trump's warning. Facing an uproar among his own citizens, embattled Prime Minister Justin Trudeau just announced a billion-dollar plan for major border security improvements and increased border patrols in an effort to stem the flow of illegal immigration, human trafficking, and deadly drugs into the United States.
Mexico has been put on notice, too. Mere days after President Trump made the promise, Mexican authorities announced its largest-ever fentanyl bust in a cartel-dominated region of the country — deadly drugs that likely would've ended up in American communities.
After four years of a Biden-induced crisis, in which criminals, terrorists, and deadly drugs have poured across the borders in record numbers, President Trump is making good on his mandate for sweeping change.
Promises made, promises kept — and the border is far from the only example. In just six weeks, President Trump has made major progress in advancing international peace, propelling economic growth, dismantling divisive social programming, and bolstering American investment.
Our retribution will be our success — and Americans won't get tired of winning.

$100 BILLION AND 100,000 JOBS – President Donald J. Trump is Making America Wealthy Again before he even takes office. Yesterday, the CEO of SoftBank announced an $100 billion investment into the U.S. economy, which is set to create at least 100,000 jobs.
Why? Because President Trump is headed back to the Oval Office: “My confidence level to the economy of the United States has tremendously increased because of his victory. So because of that, I am now excited to commit this $100 billion and 100,000 jobs.”
That’s the Trump Effect, and with him back in office, that’s just the start.
This comes after President Trump’s historic visit to the New York Stock Exchange last week, which both literally and figuratively signaled that under President Trump, the American economy is open for business.
President Trump is already delivering on his commitment to re-make America into the world’s manufacturing superpower once again – and he hasn't even taken office yet. It's all centered around his Made in America agenda, which incentivizes companies that make their products in America with American workers. In the words of President Trump, “you're going to see some very good days ahead.”
Make America Wealthy Again! For more information, click here.
THE ARMY-NAVY GAME – Nothing says “America is back” like “USA, USA, USA” chants at the Army-Navy Game as President Trump waves to the crowd. That was the scene this weekend as President Trump, Vice President-Elect JD Vance, Defense Secretary Nominee-Select Pete Hegseth, and many others attended the Army-Navy Game.
President Trump was there to root on the teams at this important American tradition – it was a day all Americans can take pride in.
God Bless the United States of America! God Bless our military!
“FOR FIVE CENTS ON THE DOLLAR” – The Biden-Harris administration is still actively opening our border by selling off border wall building materials for cents on the dollar. What does that mean? The Biden-Harris administration is actively trying to make it harder and more expensive to build the wall and secure the border.
That’s unacceptable, and President Trump called them out.
The mandate from the election was clear – Americans want to end Biden’s border crisis and secure the border. They know the incoming Trump administration will build hundreds of miles of border wall – like the first Trump administration.
It’s a parting insult from Joe Biden after years of grievous injury on the border. Inauguration Day can’t come soon enough.
PERSON OF THE YEAR – President Trump received the well-deserved honor of being named Time Magazine’s “Person Of The Year” last week.
Because of President Trump’s vision, leadership, and fight, the American people gave him an overwhelming mandate to deliver on his agenda – an agenda that will Make America Great Again.
It was election that not only was the most important date this year, but will go down as the most important election in American history.
CABINET NOMINEES-SELECT TO THE HILL – President Trump’s cabinet nominees-select continue their productive meetings on the Hill. The momentum is palpable, with nominees-select receiving bipartisan support.
Team Trump has the rundown on recent examples. Click below for details:
- “Accolades Pour In For Brooke Rollins As Agriculture Secretary”
- “WHAT THEY ARE SAYING: Praise For Howard Lutnick’s Nomination As Commerce Secretary”
- “DNI Nominee Tulsi Gabbard Praised After Successful Week On Capitol Hill”
- “Kash Patel Earns High Praise As President Trump’s Nominee For FBI Director”
- “‘BRILLIANT’: Pam Bondi Nets Wide Acclaim As AG Nominee”
- “Pete Hegseth Earns Strong Support On Capitol Hill”
That’s just the start of the strong support for all of President Trump’s picks. He is building the team to Make America Great Again. For the latest updates on meetings on the Hill, be sure you are following @TeamTrump across social media. |

“RIGHT FOR DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE” – Bernard Hudson, who is the former director of counterterrorism at the CIA, wrote in the National Review that Tulsi Gabbard “has the experience, temperament, and professional integrity necessary for the American intelligence community to win and keep the trust of the American people.”
From the op-ed:
- “Given all this, restoring the American people’s broad faith in the intelligence community is an urgent task. They need to believe that those entrusted with the vast powers of the national security apparatus will perform their duties in a nonpartisan way that prioritizes constitutional rights, meaningful accountability, and democratic safeguards.”
- “Changing these trends will be hard, and that effort must begin at the top. It is vital the director of national intelligence (DNI), who leads the intelligence community, be someone with high integrity, sound judgment, and a clear understanding of the commander in chief’s intentions. It would also go a long way toward reestablishing credibility with Americans if the next director were someone with a significant, bipartisan background.”
- “Tulsi Gabbard fits these criteria. She has the right experience, temperament, and professional integrity to restore faith in America’s intelligence community.”
- “Gabbard is a career public servant who served in the Hawaii state legislature and for four terms in the U.S. House of Representatives. In the latter capacity, she was a member of the House Armed Services Committee. She was also the vice chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee. She has also worn her country’s uniform for over two decades in the U.S. Army, with a combat deployment to Iraq. As a soldier, she knows both the importance of patriotism and the cost that all military interventions inevitably require.”
- “In addition to serving her country in a combat zone, Gabbard has a different and equally rare form of courage. The DNI needs to be willing to say unpopular – and, sometimes, unwelcome – things in pursuit of accuracy, free of the Beltway conventional wisdom that often serves as blinders.”

“TRUMP EFFECT”: President Trump, SoftBank Announce $100 Billion Investment Pledge December 16, 2024
The Golden Age of America has begun — and President Trump hasn't even taken office yet.
Today, President Donald J. Trump joined SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son to announce $100 billion in new U.S. investments over the next four years. The pledge promises 100,000+ new American jobs in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and related critical infrastructure.
Call it the "TRUMP EFFECT."
SoftBank — which has offices across the United States — is an investment holding company with stakes in the world's leading AI, smart robotics, and telecommunications providers. In 2016, the company pledged $50 billion in U.S. investments; since then, they have invested $70+ billion in more than 300 U.S.-based technology companies.
Now, they're (literally) doubling down.
President Trump is already delivering on his commitment to re-make America into the world's manufacturing superpower once again — and he hasn't even taken office yet. It's all centered around his Made in America agenda, which incentivizes companies that make their products in America with American workers.
In January, President Trump will immediately begin implementing bold reforms to restore the nation to full prosperity and make sure AI, emerging technologies, and the other industries of tomorrow are created, built, and grown in the United States.
The best is yet to come.
- President Donald J. Trump

DNI Nominee Tulsi Gabbard Praised After Successful Week On Capitol Hill December 13, 2024
The support continues to build for Tulsi Gabbard as President Donald J. Trump's nominee for Director of National Intelligence.
It's not hard to see why; Tulsi Gabbard is a patriot whose life has been spent in service to this country and its security. Gabbard, a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve with three deployments, also represented Hawaii for eight years in the U.S. House of Representatives, where she served on the Armed Services, Homeland Security, and Foreign Affairs committees.
Here's what they're saying on Capitol Hill and beyond:
- 250+ U.S. military veterans, including Medal of Honor recipients, signed a letter supporting her nomination — lauding her as a "warrior whose vote cannot be bought."
- Former CIA Chief of Counterterrorism Bernard Hudson: "She has the experience, temperament, & professional integrity necessary for the American intelligence community to win & keep the trust of the American people."
- Lt. Gen. Daniel P. Leaf, USAF (Ret.): "The histrionic attacks on Lt. Col. Tulsi Gabbard miss the mark. I know Ms. Gabbard, and the only people who should be concerned about her serving as director of national intelligence are incompetent bureaucrats used to the status quo in our intelligence community."

Here's what you missed:
- President Trump signaled a return to the "basics" beginning as soon as he takes office: "A lot of it will have to do with economics. A lot is going to have to do with energy. A lot is going to have to do with the border."

NEW: Americans Back President Trump’s Nominations, Transition December 04, 2024
President Donald J. Trump has nominated the most competent, qualified cabinet in modern history — and new polling shows Americans agree. It's the latest proof that Americans re-elected President Trump with a mandate for sweeping change — and voters support him making good on it.
Here's what you need to know:
— More Americans than not approve of President Trump's cabinet nominees. In fact, pluralities back almost every one of President Trump's picks as they pledge to fulfill the governing mandate he earned with his resounding electoral victory.
— A majority of Americans approve of how President Trump is handling the transition, including a plurality of independents and even one-in-five Democrats. The numbers, which remain unchanged over the past three weeks, are in line with other recent polls, all of which have highlighted strong support for President Trump's transition and agenda.
— President Trump's net favorability is back "in positive territory."Meanwhile, a recent Gallup poll shows President Trump's net favorability exceeds the incumbent Biden by 17 points.
— Gallup also shows Republicans are viewed far more favorably than Democrats. The Republican Party's favorability is right in line with its 22-year average, while the Democrat Party's rating is 11 points below its average.
— Half of Americans say they're "optimistic" after President Trump's victory.
The proof is in the numbers. Americans know President Trump is already delivering on the promises he made and he hasn't even been inaugurated yet.
The best is yet to come — and it starts on January 20, 2025.

Promises Kept — And President Trump Hasn’t Even Been Inaugurated Yet December 02, 2024
There are just under 50 days until President Donald J. Trump is inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States — and he's already making good on his promises to the American people.
- President Trump is securing our border. After President Trump demanded Mexico and Canada stem the flow of illegal immigration, human trafficking, and deadly drugs entering the United States, both countries have already pledged to take immediate action.
- President Trump is working towards international peace. In anticipation of the incoming Trump administration, Iran has called off its reprisal attack on Israel and negotiations to end the war in Gaza and Russia's war in Ukraine have accelerated. One former NATO Supreme Allied Commander says America's enemies are "concerned, they're nervous — [and] they ought to be."
- President Trump is propelling economic growth. Both the stock market and crypto markets have seen explosive growth following the election — an indication of the market confidence in President Trump's incoming administration and policies.
- President Trump is dismantling divisive, unchecked DEI. After his resounding victory, massive corporations such as Walmart have already begun rolling back their misguided "diversity, equity, and inclusion" initiatives — which have come at the expense of wide swaths of Americans.
Meanwhile, President Trump's cabinet nominations are earning wide praise as the American people prepare for a return to the strength, prosperity, and opportunity for which they voted.
It's all coming on January 20, 2025.

Kash Patel Earns High Praise As President Trump’s Nominee For FBI Director December 01, 2024
Last night, President Donald J. Trump announced the nomination of Kash Patel as the next director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Patel — who has served as chief of staff at the Department of Defense, deputy director of national intelligence, senior counsel for the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, a national security prosecutor at the Department of Justice, and a public defender — is among the most qualified nominees in modern history.
The nomination is already earning wide acclaim.
Here's what they're saying:
- National Security Advisor-designate Mike Waltz: "Kash Patel has served in senior roles at the Pentagon, National Security Council, ODNI, House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and as a federal prosecutor. The FBI headquarters in Washington, DC needs reform. Kash is the man to drive that agenda!"
- Former National Security Advisor Robert O'Brien: "Kash Patel served a Snr. Director for counterterrorism when I was National Security Advisor. I was able to count on him to get any job done no matter how complex or difficult the task. He handled some of the nation’s most sensitive issues with care and discretion. From assisting President Trump in the take down of ISIS and bringing justice to Kayla Mueller’s murderer - al Baghdadi - to risking his life in Syria for hostage Austin Tice, Kash Patel fought for America."
- Speaker Mike Johnson: "Kash Patel has extensive experience in national security and intelligence. He is an America First patriot who will bring much-needed change and transparency to the FBI."
- Attorney Mike Davis: "I served as Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley’s chief counsel for nominations—the job responsible for the confirmation of the FBI director. Kash Patel will win Senate confirmation. He’s unquestionably qualified. He’ll bring much-needed reforms to a broken, corrupt FBI."
- Breitbart's Matt Boyle: "Anyone who tries to argue that Kash Patel is not qualified for FBI director role is wrong. He served as a top attorney for House Intelligence Committee, then led counterterrorism efforts for the White House in the first Trump term. He is the definition of qualified for the job."
- Former Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell: "Kash is going to be an amazing FBI Director because he’s focused on the people - not the powerful ... I’m all in on helping get Kash Patel confirmed. I will lobby hard for this pick. America needs a first generation patriot like Kash who knows the blessings and responsibilities of being an American. Kash has been a public defender *and* a prosecutor. He will be the voice for the people - not the powerful."
- Former VP Communications Director Katie Miller: "Kash Patel is a consummate professional who knows how to restore the FBI back to true law and order. I’m deeply impressed by his intellect and passion on national and homeland security matters. I can’t wait to see Kash as our nation’s FBI Director."
- Journalist Greta Van Susteren: "I like that @FBI nominee is a former Federal Public Defender - too many people in law enforcement (and judges) have never fought on the ground floor for rights of people like a Public Defender does daily"
- Deputy Chief of Staff-designate Stephen Miller: "Kash is a warrior, a patriot, a man of unquestioned integrity, who will tirelessly defend our democracy, end the abuse and corruption of government power, and restore the faith and trust of Americans in the Bureau."
- Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani: "Kash Patel is uniquely qualified to restore the FBI as a thoroughly legitimate and impartial law enforcement agency. Those who corrupted it must be held accountable."
- UN Ambassador-designate Elise Stefanik: "Congratulations to America First fighter Kash Patel on his nomination to serve as President @realDonaldTrump ’s Director of the FBI"
- Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL): "Kash Patel is the perfect pick. He will restore LAW AND ORDER and end FBI corruption. Clean house!"
- Senator-elect Bernie Moreno (R-OH):: "Congrats to my good friend Kash Patel on being named director of the FBI by President Trump. After years of horrible leadership and political witchhunts led by corrupt officials, Kash will reform the FBI into a nimble, efficient organization solely focused on national security."
- Senator Rick Scott (R-FL): "The FBI has lost the trust of the American people & needs to be shaken up & driven back to its mission. We must end the political witch-hunts, protect Americans & make sure President Trump can Make America Great Again! Kash will do just that."
- Rep. Byron Donalds (FL-19): "Great choice by @realDonaldTrump. Kash is a patriot and 100% America First."
- Rep. Tim Burchett (TN-02): "This is bigger than huge."
- Rep. Ronny Jackson (TX-13): "Congratulations to Kash Patel on being named the next Director of the FBI! Kash was INSTRUMENTAL in President Trump’s first term and will be EVEN GREATER in his second! Time to clean this place up, and Kash is the man to do it!!! MAGA!"
- Rep. Troy Nehls (TX-22): "President Trump just announced that Kash Patel will be the next Director of the FBI. Another excellent pick. Congratulations!"
- Rep. Nancy Mace (SC-01): "Congratulations to Kash Patel on being nominated for FBI Director. We got no time to waste - let’s go!"
