New York Post: The Harris-Biden administration intended to grant de facto amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants — and potentially allow more than a million deported under former President Trump to return — according to the failed 2021 immigration bill repeatedly touted by Vice President Harris. 

The Democratic presidential nominee has repeatedly highlighted the U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021 as proof of the incumbent administration’s efforts to fix the border crisis. 

“At the beginning of our administration, within practically hours of taking the oath, the first bill that we offered Congress . . . was a bill to fix our immigration system,” Harris told Fox News’ Bret Baier during an interview earlier this month. “And our focus has been on fixing a problem.” 

But the text of the bill, which was sent to sent to Congress the day Biden assumed office, shows it intended to grant “lawful prospective immigrant status” for anyone deemed eligible, if the applicant was “physically present in the United States on or before January 1, 2021.” 

...

The bill would have also allowed US the Secretary of Homeland Security to “waive the presence requirement for those deported on or after January 20, 2017” if they were physically in the country for three years prior to being deported by the Trump administration. 

That clause would open the door to the 1.5 million people deported by Trump being invited to return to the United States.

Kamala hasn't met a tax hike she didn't like — and that goes for her plan to tax unrealized capital gains, too. 

Despite top Harris surrogate Rachel Maddow (sometimes known as Mark Cuban) insisting otherwise during an official campaign event, the Harris-Walz campaign refused to offer "clarification" — which means it's definitely happening if she is elected.

Kamala's plan includes a first-ever 25% tax on unrealized capital gains — forcing Americans to pay taxes on assets that increase in value, even if they don't sell it. 

The tax — opposed by three-quarters of Americans — would kill 75,000 jobs, reduce investment incentives, hurt long-term economic growth, and target family farms and family-owned small businesses the most. 

It's part of the Harris-Walz proposal for the largest tax hike in U.S. history — a multi-trillion-dollar boondoggle that would raise income taxes, business taxes, investment taxes, capital gains taxes, and death taxes, among others.

Washington Free Beacon: The first all-female audience ever on The Drew Barrymore Show was whooping and cheering for Kamala Harris, its guest of honor, this April when Barrymore’s sidekick, Ross Matthews, threw a softball at the vice president. 

"I heard a rumor that you worked at McDonald’s?" 

"I did. Yes, I did work at McDonald’s," laughed Harris. "When I was at school … I did fries. And then I did the cashier." 

"I didn’t know that about you," gasped Barrymore. 

Neither did anyone who followed Harris’s long career in public life—that is, until she ran for president in 2019 and began to make the job a centerpiece of her biography. 

Harris’s work at McDonald’s, which allegedly took place at a franchise in the California Bay Area the summer after her freshman year in college, is a recent addition to her carefully curated life story. For decades, Harris never mentioned it, not on the campaign trail nor in two books. It’s absent from a job application and résumé she submitted a year after she graduated from college. Third-party biographers did not write about it. Not until Harris ran for president in 2019 and spoke to a labor rally in Las Vegas did she mention the job, telling the crowd that she "was a student when I was working in a McDonald’s." 

McDonald’s boasts that one in eight Americans has worked at the fast food chain, and Harris, whose campaign is light on policy and heavy on image, has been using her fast food job to portray what the Washington Post, in a credulous piece this month on the Harris-McDonald’s connection, described as "her humble background." (Harris is the daughter of an eminent cancer researcher, whom her campaign calls "a working mother," and a tenured Stanford economist, who split when Harris and her sister were children.) 

Early this month, Harris’s campaign said she used her McDonald’s wages to pay for college. "Vice President Harris is the daughter of a working mother and worked at a McDonald’s to put herself through college," campaign spokeswoman Lauren Hitt said this month. A pro-Harris super PAC ad said she "work[ed] her way through school at McDonald’s." And former president Bill Clinton, at the Democratic National Convention, joked that "she’ll break my record as president who has spent the most time at McDonald’s." 

At the same time, however, Harris’s image makers tweaked the story ever so slightly. According to an August 14 item in Politico, an early cut of a Harris campaign ad said she worked at McDonald’s to "pay her way" through college. Aides changed the script to reflect that "she really took the summer job just to earn a bit more spending money," as Politico put it. 

The Politico story, which was published just hours after the Washington Free Beacon reached out to the Harris campaign with a series of detailed questions about Harris’s claims regarding her job at McDonald’s, didn’t say when exactly—or where—Harris worked at the restaurant. The campaign did not respond to the Free Beacon’s inquiries. 

It is possible that Harris did indeed work at McDonald’s in the early 1980s. But the absence of that detail in public records and her campaign’s coyness and refusal to provide any further details raise questions about what is now a foundational narrative. 

On Monday, the New York Times reported without attribution that Harris, who was born in Oakland, Calif., and moved to Montreal with her mother and younger sister when she was 12, "return[ed] to the Bay Area for a summer during college when she worked at a McDonald’s in Alameda, a city next to Oakland." Harris was attending college at Howard University in Washington, D.C. 

If some details of the job have varied, while others are murky, that might be because there is no record of Harris mentioning the McDonald’s job before that labor rally in Las Vegas in June 2019. 

The job goes unmentioned in both of her memoirs, published in July 2010 and January 2019. 

The Truths We Hold, published ahead of her maiden presidential bid, does include a passage on the "many jobs" she held in college, with no reference to McDonald’s. It also devotes a chapter to the struggles of the working class and assails the service industry’s "starvation wages." Harris’s McDonald’s job is similarly absent from her 2009 book, Smart on Crime: A Career Prosecutor's Plan to Make Us Safer. 

Two biographies written about Harris make no mention of the job, either. A 2021 memoir by Stacey Johnson-Batiste, Harris’s lifelong friend who grew up with her in California, does not mention McDonald’s anywhere in the text. Dan Morain, who authored Kamala’s Way: An American Life, told the Free Beacon he was "not aware" of her job at McDonald’s. 

During Harris’s nomination speech at the Democratic National Committee earlier this month, which was framed by multiple news outlets as a "reintroduction," she made no reference to McDonald’s. At a rally in Milwaukee that same week, Harris omitted any mention of the Golden Arches as well. 

The Free Beacon also obtained a copy of Harris’s October 1987 job application for a law clerk position in the Alameda County district attorney’s office. On that form, Harris, who was in law school at the time, listed several jobs—including a month-long clerical job at a stock brokerage—in a section that asked her to list every position she held in the last 10 years. McDonald’s is absent. 

Harris lists three jobs on the application and five in total on an attached résumé, according to the documents, obtained through a public records request. Harris, who submitted the application as a second-year student at then-University of California, Hastings College of the Law, included granular life experience on her résumé—"extensive travel in India, Africa, [and] Europe" and "lived in Montreal, Canada for six years"—but not McDonald’s. 

Politicians who worked menial food service jobs as teens are often quick to mention it as proof of their working class bona fides. Future president Barack Obama, during his 2008 campaign, said his first job scooping ice cream at a Baskin-Robbins in Honolulu instilled in him the virtues of responsibility and hard work. 

But unlike Harris, there was no mystery surrounding Obama’s first job. News outlets published the address of the restaurant. Photographers posted pictures of the establishment online. Baskin-Robbins proudly touts on its website that Obama used to scoop ice cream for the chain. The manager of the store quipped after the 2008 election that she was somewhat of a media professional after having dealt with reporters from Good Morning America, CNN, and a television station from Norway asking questions about Obama. 

"Now I’m used to talking to reporters," the Baskin-Robbins manager, Sherill Fernandez, told the Los Angeles Times in 2009. "It’s always the same question. And the same answers." 

The same can’t be said for Harris. Though the Times reported she worked at a franchise in Alameda, her campaign has not provided any more details to other news organizations. The previous owner of an Alameda McDonald’s that opened in 1982—one year before Harris would have worked there—did not respond to a request for comment. 

The McDonald’s Corporation, which is proud of its 84-year history and employs a full-time archivist as its official historian, did not return several requests for comment. It has made no comment on Harris’s claims to have done the fries.

In a recent interview on “the View,” Kamala Harris said she would have done nothing differently than Joe Biden.

That comes after close to 4 years of the worst border crisis in U.S. history. Indeed, she was asked repeatedly if she regrets allowing the unprecedented flood of criminals, drugs, and gangs over our border on “60 Minutes,” and she repeatedly refused to answer the question.

The facts: Vicious transnational gangs and cartels are crossing the border essentially at will. Former U.S Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz testified that the U.S. does not have operational control of the entire border. As proof of that fact, more than 1.9 million gotaways have escaped past Border Patrol into the U.S. since Kamala Harris took office, with border officials saying that the official number of gotaways vastly undercounts the number who make it into the U.S.

U.S. Border Patrol Chief Jason Owens says cartels are “profiting” off the border crisis with “millions of dollars a week in revenue ... going directly into the hands of the cartels and those smugglers. "Meanwhile, Border Patrol agents have been left demoralized and “overwhelmed” by the Harris-Biden administration.

The Harris-Biden administration has also hampered the enforcement of immigration law within our country. More than 40 percent of catch and release migrants have totally disappeared, and the Harris-Biden administration has failed to remove 99.7 percent of the illegal immigrants released into the interior of the U.S. Those escaping deportation include members of Tren de Aragua, including gang members committing crimes in the U.S. while under deportation order.

The consequences: Homeland Security Investigations estimates that Mexican cartels are now making $13 billion a year smuggling illegal immigrants into the U.S., 26 times what they made in 2018. The bloodthirsty transnational gang, Tren de Aragua, is building a “criminal empire” in the U.S. because of Kamala’s border bloodbath. The growing activity of the vicious gang was also detailed by CNN, who noted that the gang followed “migration paths” into the U.S.

Americans have been paying the price. The gang’s members have murdered Americans, attacked police officers, and taken over apartment buildings. As an ICE memo showed, the gang has given its members “the greenlight to attack and kill police officers in Denver.”

Among the communities under siege by Tren de Aragua is Aurora, Colorado. President Trump will be visiting today to draw attention to the crisis that Kamala Harris and her allies in the fake news media want to insist does not exist.

President Trump secured the border once, and when he is back in office, he will do so again.

Kamala Harris' open border policies have allowed Tren de Aragua, a gang of Venezuelan illegal immigrants, to terrorize Aurora, Colorado.

President Trump will be visiting Aurora today to discuss how he will deport criminal illegal immigrants and make America safe again. 

A recent report noted that the “number of Venezuelans coming to the border has skyrocketed from 50,000 in FY 21 to nearly 335,000 in FY 23.” This surge in illegal immigration corresponds with a decline in deportations. Data shows that deportations of convicted criminals have decreased 74% under Border Czar Harris. 

These permissive open border policies have allowed Tren de Aragua to flourish. Even CNN reported earlier this year that Tren de Aragua is "infiltrating the US." 

In Aurora, Tren de Aragua's rise has been a disaster for residents 

• A law firm hired to investigate Tren de Aragua's takeover of an apartment building found that the gang has been “engaging in flagrant trespass violations, assaults and battery, human trafficking and sexual abuse of minors, unlawful firearms possession, extortion, and other criminal activities.”
• The Denver Post reported last month that the gang has terrorized residents at several apartment complexes. 
• Residents and local officials have raised the alarm about Tren de Aragua's presence in Aurora. 
  • One resident shared now viral footage of gang members toting guns in her apartment complex.
  • Aurora's Mayor Mike Coffman said in August that at least two buildings "have fallen to these Venezuelan gangs." He said, "I think we’re the victim of a failed policy at the southern border … you’ve got these massive waves of migrants coming across the border that many of them cross illegally, were arrested, ask for political asylum, were not adequately vetted, were released into the country."
  • Aurora City Council member Danielle Jurinsky said: "They have shoved their way into apartments. They have changed locks on residents' locks to the units and locks to exterior entrances and buildings." Jurisnky said that residents "have been living in absolute terror."
  • Aurora Council Member Stephanie Hancock said at a roundtable: "These gangs prey on that vulnerability and the fact that we don’t have teeth with what law enforcement can do and what ICE can."
• Recent surveillance footage showed members of Tren de Aragua "pointing their weapons at a driver of a car outside an apartment building in Aurora, Colorado."
• In September, the New York Post detailed how Aurora "became a migrant gang war zone after Tren de Aragua took over apartment complexes in quiet suburb."

Kamala, whose policies sent prices soaring in the first place, will send them even higher. There's not a thing she would do differently than Biden — and it shows as she doubles down on the inflationary Harris-Biden agenda with the largest tax hike in history, a Soviet-style price control scheme, and a housing plan that will only drive home prices higher.

President Trump will always fight for America's senior citizens — who have been left behind by Kamala Harris

 

Today, Kamala Harris will allegedly announce a policy related to home care for seniors — once again following President Trump's lead. 

This summer, President Trump outlined his platform to Make America Great Again — which includes his commitment to America's seniors receiving at-home care.

• Specifically, President Trump will prioritize home care benefits by shifting resources back to at-home senior care, overturning disincentives that lead to care worker shortages, and supporting unpaid family caregivers through tax credits and reduced red tape.

That builds on President Trump's first term achievements for seniors receiving at-home care.

• The Trump administration provided new Medicare Advantage supplemental benefits that included modifications to help keep seniors safe in their homes, respite care for caregivers, transportation coverage, additional in-home support services and assistance, and non-opioid pain management alternatives.

Of course, part of President Trump's mission will be to undo the devastation the Harris-Biden administration has unleashed on seniors:

• Under Kamala, seniors saw the largest ever Medicare Part B premium increase.
• Many seniors are delaying retirement amid rampant inflation as they struggle to afford basic necessities and groceries.
• Almost half of older Americans say they've had to spend their emergency savings to make ends meet.
• Medicare Part D drug costs are "substantially higher" in 2024, while the average monthly Part D premium increased 21% over the past year.
• Resident fees at independent living facilities have gone up 4.4% over the past year, while the cost of nursing homes and adult daycare facilities have jumped 4.8% over the past year.

By prioritizing at-home care — as well as protecting Social Security and Medicare and ENDING taxes on seniors' Social Security — President Trump will make good on the promise that seniors should be able to live their golden years with dignity.

While in office, Kamala has pursued her desire to ban gas-powered cars. 

The Harris-Biden administration’s “strictest-ever rules” for tailpipe emissions will essentially force a “de facto electric vehicle mandate” onto Americans. The rules set emission standards so strict that electric vehicles (EVs) must account for over half of new car sales by 2032. For perspective, less than 8 percent of car sales were EVs in 2023.

• There are now 6.8 million Americans who are unemployed — up from 6.3 million one year ago — as labor force participation remains far below pre-pandemic levels.
  
  
• The number of long-term unemployed Americans shot up by 97,000 last month.
  
  
• Over the last 12 months, 555,000 more Americans took on part-time work for economic reasons.
  
  
• There are 502,000 fewer private industry workers and 696,000 more government workers than one year ago.

Americans have been subjected to four years of pain. Overall prices are up 20.3% under Kamala, while real wages remain lower than when she took office. Nearly half of Americans consider themselves "broke," while two-thirds report living paycheck-to-paycheck. 

Now, Kamala wants to be rewarded with four more years in the White House — when she would unleash the largest tax hike in history and punish American manufacturing and reward companies that ship jobs overseas.

Future Vice President JD Vance gave a masterclass last night deconstructing the dishonest arguments from Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. A few examples:

The Economy: “And I honestly, Tim, I think you got a tough job here because you've got to play whack-a-mole. You've got to pretend that Donald Trump didn't deliver rising take home pay. Which, of course, he did. You've got to pretend that Donald Trump didn't deliver lower inflation, which, of course, he did. And then you've simultaneously got to defend Kamala Harris's atrocious economic record, which has made gas, groceries, and housing unaffordable for American citizens.”

He’s spot on. The facts speak for themselves.

• President Trump handed Kamala Harris a 1.4% inflation rate. On her watch, inflation reached over 9% and prices are up now over 20%.
• Under President Trump, real weekly wages increased 8.2%. Under Kamala Harris, they are down over 3%.

In fact, Since Kamala took office, groceries prices are up 21.5 percent, rent costs are up 22.5 percent, and electricity prices are up 30.7 percent. Reminder, even liberal economists blame her spending for inflation.

The Border: “And I didn't accuse Kamala Harris of inviting drug mules, I said that she enabled the Mexican drug cartels to operate freely in this country, and we know that they use children as drug mules, and it is a disgrace and it has to stop. Look, I think what Tim said just doesn't pass the smell test. For three years, Kamala Harris went out bragging that she was going to undo Donald Trump's border policy. She did exactly that. We had a record number of illegal crossings. We had a record number of fentanyl coming into our country. And now, now that she's running for President, or a few months before, she says that somehow she got religion and cared a lot about a piece of legislation. The only thing that she did when she became the Vice President, when she became the appointed border czar, was to undo 94 Donald Trump executive actions that opened the border. This problem is leading to massive problems in the United States of America. Parents who can't afford health care, schools that are overwhelmed. It's got to stop, and it will when Donald Trump is President again.”

When Vance correctly pointed out that “border czar” Kamala Harris has allowed cartels to operate freely in the U.S., even Tim Walz nodded in agreement. It is a complete disgrace. The Harris-Biden administration inherited a secure border and created the worst border crisis in U.S. history. Under Kamala Harris, illicit drugs are flowing into the country at an alarming rate, with only 5 to 10 percent being intercepted as border officials struggle to contain the smuggling. Since she took office, roughly 33.2 tons of fentanyl have crossed the southern border, enough to kill roughly 15.1 billion people.

Fentanyl is now the leading cause of death for Americans age 18 to 45, with the number killed by the drug up 94 percent since 2019. 112,000 fatal drug overdoses occurred in 2023, a new record high, and on average, one person in the U.S. now dies from a fentanyl overdose every seven minutes.

Former U.S Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz testified that the U.S. does not have operational control of the entire border. As proof of that fact, more than 1.9 million gotaways have escaped past Border Patrol into the U.S. since Kamala Harris took office.

Foreign Policy: “When did Iran and Hamas and their proxies attack Israel? It was during the administration of Kamala Harris…effective, smart diplomacy and peace through strength is how you bring stability back to a very broken world. Donald Trump has already done it once before. Ask yourself at home, when, when was the last time? I'm 40 years old. When was the last time that an American President didn't have a major conflict breakout? The only answer is during the four years that Donald Trump was President.”

Indeed, President Trump oversaw historic peace agreements that many claimed were impossible. We’ve gone from President Trump’s era of peace to global chaos after 3.5 years of Kamala Harris.

On Iran, the terrorist-funding regime has managed to make at least $90 billion from illicit oil sales under Kamala, largely due to "ongoing hesitance to enforce oil sanctions on Iran." Iran had just $4 billion in foreign reserves when President Trump left office.

It’s clear that Iran does not respect Kamala Harris. She told Iran in October of last year "don't” – and since her tepid “warning,” Iranian proxies have killed U.S. troops, attacked U.S. Navy ships, shot down U.S. drones, and Iran itself has attacked Israel. For more information, click here.

Kamala Harris’s weak arguments were completely and fully debunked. That’s why she struggles to defend her record – it’s indefensible.

When I was President, Iran was in total check. They were starved for cash, fully contained, and desperate to make a deal. Kamala flooded them with American cash and, ever since, they’ve been exporting terror all over, and unraveling the Middle East. 

Under 'President Trump,' we had NO WAR in the Middle East, NO WAR in Europe, and Harmony in Asia, No Inflation, No Afghanistan Catastrophe. Instead, we had PEACE. Now, War or the threat of War, is raging everywhere, and the two Incompetents running this Country are leading us to the brink of World War III. You wouldn’t trust Joe or Kamala to run a lemonade stand, let alone lead the Free World. 

It is no surprise that Iran desperately wants Kamala Harris to be President, because they know as long as she is in power, they can take advantage of America. That is why they have tried to target me. 

If I was in charge, October 7th never happens, Russia/Ukraine never happens, Afghanistan Botched Withdrawal never happens, and Inflation never happens. If I win, we will have peace in the World again. If Kamala gets 4 more years, the World goes up in smoke."
