One of Donald Trump's signature trademarks is the talk he gives on
"Thinking Big." He definitely practices what he preaches. If you have any
doubt about his ability to think big, all you need to do is go to New York
City and count the number ofskyscrapers with his name on them.

i I have had the privilege oflistening to his talk on thinking big, and each
timehe throws in somethingn ew and expands my own thinking. Ifyou ever
have the chance to hear his "Think Big" talk, grab the opportunity. Ifyou
can hear it more than once, keep taking the opportunity.

the same concept. Instead, the words he often used were "leverage" and
"expansion." When he taught his son and me to think about the differences
between leverage and expansion, he used the McDonald's franchise as a
teaching example. He would say, "W hen Ray Kroc bought McDonald's
from the McDonald brothers, he leveraged himsel£ When he franchised
McDonald's, he expanded his leverage."
When Ray Kroc purchased the hamburger stand, he leveraged himself
because the burger business could make money with or without him. And
this iswhere most Squadrant business owners stop, keeping their businesses
small.When Ray Kroc developed a franchise system for the small business,
he expanded the hamburger business into the B quadrant.
