In the previous chapter, Donald and I wrote abour the benefits of
network marketing. In my opinion, the biggest advantages of a network-
marketing business are the training and the low cost of entry. If you are
serious about becoming an entrepreneur, again I would suggest you find a
network-marketing company with a great training program and dedicate at
least fiveyears ofyour life to learning the core values ofthe B quadrant.

The Power OfFranchises

Ifyou have more money and are ready to make a bigger commitment,
then you may want to look into buying a franchise. Again, if it is a good
franchise, the owners of the franchise will focus a lot of time and energy
training you to run the business and the business systems.
We all know abour McDonald's. It is by far one ofthe most well-known
franchise systems in the world. There were many times I thought about
buying a McDonald's franchise, not necessarily for the money, bur for their
training programs. You may have heard of Hamburger University. It is a
highly acclaimed business school that trains people for the real world of
business. But one ofthe problems with a McDonald's franchise is the high
cost ofentry, which is often over a million dollars.
