Leaders Are Teachers

Yearsago, my rich dad did not give me money. Instead, he gave me the
power co see. That is what financial literacy is: the power to see with your
mind what your eyes cannot see.
As mentioned earlier in the book, in the world ofmoney, you ofien hear
the word transparency. Transparency means being able co see into
something. When a banker asks you for your financial statement, he or she
wants co look inside you or your company. Your financial statement is your
real-world 'report card.'
My rich dad, by being a great leader and teacher, gave me a vision ofmy
future, yet lett it up to me to determine my future. That is what great leaders
and teachers do. Great leaders can see and teach others co see.
It has been an honor for me cowork with Donald Trump, a great leader
- a man ofvision and a great teacher - a man who teaches others co see.

Robert and I have outlined and addressed someof the problems we
face as individuals and as a nation. We are both believers in looking

As teachers, we know that we can offer you insights and some
guidelines, but that, ultimately, you will be responsible for yourself.
In fact, that's one of our goals.
I've always been big on focus, because focus is one of the
mainstays of effectively dealing witha problem, just as awareness is
the first step to progress. How can you fix a problem if you can't see
